The promo that Michael Hayes cut on Edge a month or so back was better than anything that HHH has ever, or will ever, put out. Mick Foley & Raven also have the ability to talk circles around HHH.

Afraid to talk to? Unlikely. You're just not my type. You said it best:

If you visited my shitty state and spread your legs, yes, I would fuck you. I'm a male, you're a female, and that's what males & females do together. Buf I have no strong desire to fuck you. I mean, I wouldn't meet you halfway or do any work to be able to fuck you. You'd have to come here and just present yourself in front of me. The tats, tooth removal, or self-mutilation would indeed increase my desire to slip it in, though, so you're on point with that.

What would you do if you had (insert TSM poster's name here) alone

Is there anyone way to prevent Matt Young from starting new threads? -
Sez the guy that's had HOW many names in the last few years? At least when it's just the avatar that's changed the rest of the posters know who's posting. And I think the mocking/skull fucking breakdown is pretty close to 50/50 at this point. I just want to lick her teeth, not mock her OR fuck her at all.

Truth. The excitement of the end of winter must be exciting people. Or, everyone here just blows. I think that I suck more than blow, but am willing to be corrected if I'm wrong in my presumption. EDIT: tried to correct my grammar in fear of the grammar nazis. It's probably still a poorly worded sentence, though.

With so many teams in 'buying' mode, and so many teams looking for a D-man, is it wrong that I'm hoping that the local team goes on a losing streak that lasts until the deadline? I'd love it if the B's were sellers, especially if Hal Gill was someone that was sold.

Is this what it's like in the political threads? Two sides that have very different opinions, that will never even agree to disagree, butting heads and throwing out facts/opinions/stats even if the other side doesn't care to see them? Because this is what I think goes on in the political debates, and it's the reason that I avoid them.

Only if you're a baseball fan. I personally couldn't tell you a single baseball moment that I'd consider "great". And I was at the ALCS game 4 between the Sox & Yankees a few years ago. Was it a memorable game/moment? Yeah. But would I call it a "great" moment? No, because I don't really care for baseball. Vinatieri's Snow Bowl field goal (and subsequent Super Bowl winner) were both greater in my eyes & mind. EDIT: And I just remembered ... the homerun by Boone that people will allegedly tell their kids about ... I left the hotel room bar to go to my room and watch a regular season game between the Bruins & Stars on ESPN. Just because one person loves baseball doesn't mean we all do.

Baseball's not huge nationally, either, Porter. It's the same as NASCAR: Huge in some places, nonexistent in others, and somewhere in between in most places.

If they're not using the Wonderlic to test a player's ability to read, comprehend, react, etc, then why do they even bother giving them? For the fun of seeing who does well and who does poorly? They're obviously looking for SOMETHING by giving these tests. And I never said that he'd be unable to read a playbook. I said that they'd have to limit the playbook that they presented to him. I wouldn't trust a QB that got a SIX on his Wonderlic to read & comprehend an NFL sized playbook with multiple reads & multiple audibles. I should also admit that pretty much everything that I've posted in this thread is only regurgitated from what NFL writers were discussing on ESPN radio the other night (Monday). I agreed with them and believe what they're saying, but it's nothing that I've come up with on my own.

Baseball is the #3 sport, behind football and NASCAR, in my opinion. Basketball & hockey are borderling irrelevent to many people. And, TMiB, regarding the Broncos owning Denver ... the Patriots are on a better run right now than the Broncos were then, and yet Boston is still dominated by Sox-talk. To say that one team's success would impact another team's relevance isn't entirely accurate. If people cared about the "less successful" team, they'd still talk about them.

I can imagine laughing at the idea of considering Beyonce a skilled actress.

And, no, The Breakfast Club doesn't mean anything to me. Saturday detentions were nothing like that.

Leena likes me. Well, she might have stopped liking me for admitting that I appreciate your humor. But up until an hour or so ago I had no reason to think that she didn't like me. But I'm very likable, so it's not a huge surprise.

Cool, thanks for the match duration info, DY. I don't know how much I can say back (without inadvertently spoiling anything) but I guess the 5 matches fit into the 2 hours pretty well.
-
I'll preface this by saying that I'm not going to watch either show ... but if I had a gun to my head and was forced to watch one, I think I'd take people actually wrestling over people talking about being wrestlers, regardless of who was getting inducted into the HOF.

How do you tell who's who without avatars?

Slightly modified to reflect my thoughts. Wait, does that make me just another 'kid' in Leena's eyes?!?

Baseball's not a joke, but it IS laughable that people still consider it the national past-time. Football, in my opinion, passed it during the lock-out/strike (I forget which it was, the one in the mid-90s) and baseball hasn't been able to catch back up. Yes, MLB has huge attendance numbers but the teams play 162 games a year, not including the plus post-season. And, yes, it gets better TV ratings than the NBA or NHL, but neither of those leagues are lighting the world on fire these days. After living in Colorado for 5 years in the late 90s/early 00s, I can say that Rockies talk on sports radio was few & far between. So to say that it's only areas without a pro team that are apathetic about the game is inaccurate. In summary, it's just that one guy's opinion, but I do think that baseball fanatics & people in cities like Boston & NYC really do have a false understanding of how beloved the sport is.

Yes, but for location purposes only. Know who gets tats on the back of their neck? girls & Fred Durst.

Leena just said the smartest thing in the history of TSM. Megan is indeed the perfect example of a fat girl's name. I'd guesstimate that 90% of Megans are fat.

^ A very good point. I just figure that if matches will last an average of 5-8 minutes (which is just an 'off the top of my head' estimate, I really have no idea how long matches last on average) they should be able to squeeze in 8-10 matches per 2 hour show.

I heard a thing about Kliff Klingsbury (who's name I'm probably fucking up somehow, it doesn't look or sound right) ... he was the shit at Texas Tech but couldn't last at Pats camp because he was unable to deal with being under center. He could ONLY deal if he was in the shotgun. Didn't Young take most of his snaps from the gun? Just another reason to be concerned, IMHO.
