I don't necessarily think that a low Wonderlic immediately equates to a bad NFL career (hello, Dan Marino) or a good score equates to a good career. But I do think that I'd be extremely nervous about implementing an extensive or difficult playbook with a QB that got a 6 on his first Wonderlic. I think that most of the passing plays for Young will be simple 'check your first read. if covered, check your second read. if covered, run with it' plays. Not the toughest thing for an NFL defense to defend against.

And Matt Hardy's back to being about as close to a jobber as the WWE has these days.

It's amazing how they only have 5 matches on a two-hour show, and yet we've been so conditioned to accept the lack of wrestling on a wrestling show that none of us blink an eye.

Aesthetically, Carnival reminds me of the guy in KORN that quit the band because he found Jebus.

I've been saying that for years, but some guys still think I'm crazy... apparently they'd rather fuck a hot fish than a mildlly attractive good fuck I just close my eyes and think of internet porno 90% of the time, so I'd take an average girl with a good body that's good in bed over a gorgeous girl with an Ok body that just's average in bed.

I've learned one thing from this thread: WP thinks "fuckup", when used in the sentence "shut the fuck up", is one word. That's two WP posts I've read in one day. I must be starting to suck at the internet.

I thought Ray Traylor started out as Big Bubba Rogers, body guard for Cornette & the Midnite X-Press ... am I mistaken? He lost a lot, but most heels lost in those days, or just cheated to win. And he feuded with people like Dusty or Ronnie Garvin, so he was losing to Main Eventers. If I'm wrong about him debuting as Big Bubba, disregard this whole post. And I think most 'jobbers' in the mid-1980s WWF were former main eventers. Sal Bellomo, Pedro Morales, Jay Strongbow, etc, were all washed-up former stars that still had name reognition, even though they were full-on jobbers. I have a good one: Leon "Baby Bull" White (AWA jobber that got massacred by Stan Hansen) becoming Big Van Vader.

Jebus, man, how about a shorter list next time?!? And I'll have to admit that I'ver been a fan of Japanese wrestling ... so most of the "NA" vs "Japan" choices go to the North American by default. Rude (based entirely on his WCCW & pre-WWF run in the NWA/WCW) Arn Pass on Hogan/Warrior. There's nothing I like about either guy. Dusty Jannetty Rip Rogers Steamboat Jerry Lawler (fire-ball throwing Lawler is what pushes him to a win) Midnight Express Dynamite Kid Pass on SmithTiger #1. I don't know enough about either guy to have an opinion. Makahn Singh (Mainly because of Karachi Vice. But the fact that Tenta's known to be such a good guy in real life almost got him the nod) Pillman Pass on Ozaki/Hokuto. I don't know enough about either guy to have an opinion. Pass on Atlantis/Blue Panther I don't know enough about either guy to have an opinion. Orton Andre GuerreroRVD Pass on Han/Yoshida. I don't know enough about either guy to have an opinion. Tie on Windham/Funk. Sorry, I really can't pick a winner. Malenko Mysterio The Rock Lesnar Pass on Low Ki/AmDragon. I don't know enough about either guy to have an opinion. JBL (the stupid Big Poppa Pump era has tainted the Scotty Steiner that I really liked.) Pass on Dynamite Kansai/Jaguar Yokota. I don't know enough about either guy to have an opinion. Pass on Jun Akyima/KENTA. I don't know enough about either guy to have an opinion. Horner (him & Armstrong were an underated JTTS tag team. I'd have liked to have seen them & the Killer B's go at it)

the official who is on your ignore list thread
nl5xsk1 replied to Annabelle's topic in No Holds Barred
niskie ignores no one. Well, at least not by using the 'ignore' feature. There are quite a few posters whose posts I don't read, but I avoid them the old-fashioned way: by just scrolling past their posts. Old Skool. -
Ahhhh, good ol' Fall River. Growing up in Andover, I only had a few occasions where I visited there ... but a few were more than enough.

A few years ago I had a boss that used to do this while at work. This is a guy that was upper management in a teleconferencing company, pulling in about $110k a year, and would spend all sorts of time trolling around the lesbian chat rooms pretending to be a dyke. Needless to say we didn't have much respect for him. The fact that PiP used to call me an asshole & a hippie should have been a hint. Still, though, those moments we shared were priceless, kkk.

I have no real issues with either Banky or RRR, but wouldn't necessarily call either the best. Incy's quality, and is among the best if not the singular #1. And I'm a male and I find WP to be creepy. As always, Slayer spits the truth.

If you don't mind sharing, PK, what school? (or at least what town?)

Yes, but only when prowling AIM for underage girls ... damn, I've said too much.

Czech Republic MP3 Player Crisis 2006

I'm pretty sure iPod's can convert the WMA to an iPod playable format ... I'm not 100% certain though. If it doesn't work, I'll most assuredly hit you up for an mp3. (and it looks like you & I teamed up on a good threadjack of Czech's mp3 crisis thread) -
Czech Republic MP3 Player Crisis 2006

I'll definitely check out the Coltrane. I've been doing "Jazz Sunday Brunch" with an ex-gf of mine, and am already running out of good jazz on my iPod. Anything new that I can add to the mix is going to help break up the monotony. -
Czech Republic MP3 Player Crisis 2006

MMoM, I'll give you one caveat: Czech hates the Grateful Dead, along with most other 'jam bands'. I was being very sarcastic when I offered to provide him links to Dead Shows. I'll probably end up grabbing a bunch of shows from some of those links, though. I use archive & nugs (I'm actually listening to Phish from 1995 NYE as I type this) but a couple of the other links are new to me. -
I'm 31, to say that I don't 'brag' about being a message board poster is an understatement. It's a good way to stay in touch with friends that I've made online. But it's not going on my resume, nor is it something that I talk about in real life. And I have a good knowledge on porn, too ... it's just that the porn that I know about are disgusting fetish porn that most people don't like to know about.

I spent about 45 seconds reading the thread that got CJ banned. Most of that was spent admiring Flyboy's Fiona Apple avatar. And I have to agree with Leena, the whole "I'm not a dork unlike everyone else on the internet" thing is a farce. It's hilarious that a guy that's best remembered for his porn knowledge would write, on a wrestling-based message board: Oh, to be so wise & cool to be a porn guru on a wrestling message board frequented largely by people that are much younger. Why wasn't I dealt such a winning hand in life?!? And, while I'm agreeing, I have to agree that the Princess KKKeena thing isn't funny. It doesn't even make sense. "Grand Dragon Leena" would have been more appropriate (but still not that funny.)

Because I was naked while doing it, obviuosly. And I want to stress that I didn't pick on him ... it's not like I was a bully and he was my victim or anything like that. He was a spoiled rich kid that had a "my shit don't stink" attitude and since because he was bigger than most kids and was friendly enough with the 'cool crowd' most people let him act like a prick without saying anything. I wasn't terribly concerned with being invited to eat lunch at the popular table, so was more than willing to talk shit at the kid. Plus I was naked.

I was thinking about this the other day....how it would be interesting to see Bischoff back in the broadcast booth... Styles-Bischoff wouldn't gel, I don't think. Though it's not as if Styles-Lawler-Coachman is the Jesse & Gorilla of the 21st century here. He'd be a good heel announcer for TNA. (OMG, TNA talk in teh WWE folder? Ban plz!)

Follow-up question to all the Valentine/Taylor/Barbarian/Slater teams ... Sometimes two random guys were thrown together as a team, even though they didn't fit gimmick-wise. (Barbarian/Slater, for example, or JYD/Ivan Koloff) Did they team up because they were friends behind the scenes, or were they thrown together because the bookers had nothing else for them to do?

My first two years of high school there were big "skinheads vs. jocks" rumbles on pretty much a monthly basis. The best thing about it was that we'd all get Saturday detiontions for fighting on school grounds, so there'd be a fight reprise after the SWAP let out. They finally wised up and scheduled the punks/skins for one Saturday and the jocks for another, to diminish the likelihood of another fight. By my junior year, though, most of the prick-jocks had graduated and a lot of the animosity went with them. My personal favorite school fight was when I was in 8th grade and this kid that I always used to rag on decided to get revenge after gym one day, and jumped me while I was walking out of the shower. I ended up beating the crap out of him while completely naked. (note: I was naked, he was not; he was still in his gym clothes.) After a visit to the principal to talk about punishment I walked into Spanish class and rec'd a standing ovation for my naked ass kicking.

Czech Republic MP3 Player Crisis 2006

Czech, I can point you in the direction of a few webpages that have all sorts of Grateful Dead shows for legal download. No need to thank me.
