Ahhhh ... cool, thanks for the info, Rant.

Can you use a CC rather than your direct bank account? I started the sign-up process, thinking I could just give my credit card info but stopped signing up when I saw that they wanted my bank account info.

To use the common fark quote: This thread is useless without pics.

Stacy looks really good for someone that's a few years older, and much less made-up, than she was the last time I saw her. I'd hit it. Twice. And to call-back the Dixie Carter debate ... Dixie looks old enough to be Carter's mother.

Since PayPal was brought up ... is that really secure and all that? I know people use it, so presume that it is ... but I never have and have been thinking of joining up. Is it really as safe as it says it is?

Max, I'll give you $1-million e-dollars to scream "TRADE GILL" at least once for me. And you're in for a real treat: if you think Gill sucks on TV, you ain't seen nothing yet. He makes so many bad plays that would be off-camera for the viewers at home, that you'll get the treat of seeing because you're there in person.

You're one of the only message board posters that I've contemplated e-flirting with. (so, yeah, I remember you)

The restaurant that they caused a 'public disturbance' is set up on a hill, well off of a major highway leading outside of Boston. There isn't much public to be disturbed. The restaurant is also frequented by the wrestlers (and a lot of "real" athletes) every time that they're in the area, so the restaurant takes care of them each time they come through town and makes good money off of them & the fans that come in to see or meet them. (at that time of night, it'd be safe to presume that at least half of the clientele at the restaurant were wrestlers and wrestling fans) And while I agree that cruising around and picking up girls would be more fun than fake fighting with friends, I have to say that doing the former is more likely to cause problems for the WWE than the latter. Between the potential issues of going to bars (e.g. HBK getting his ass-kicked by those marines) and the potential for sexual harrassment lawsuits (from women that were picked up and have a chance to make some money off a BS story), the WWE would probably prefer that their empolyees stick to nights out with the boys than going off galavanting and actually enjoying the cities that they're in.

Oh, man, I'd mark the fuck out for the return of the Whale ... especially if my Bruins lockout continues past this year. I'd just get a weekend ticket pack, and spend as many weekends in Hartford <shudder> as possible.

Ummmm, how about this for digging out of a hole, C Dub ... they're too smart & intellectual for me? I prefer my music dumb and easy to comprehend. And I truthfully haven't really heard enough of them to really have a good opinion. I only dislike them because there was a leech (as in a friend that wasn't really a friend but sucked onto my group of friends and couldn't be shaken) that preached about them as if they were the greatest thing in the world. I disliked them just to antagonize & disagree with him. Hopefully my admissions will get me back on your good side.

Wrestling talk? Ban plz

It segues away from the punk rock conversation and back towards the hippie conversation from a few days ago ... but it fits in well with the direction that this thread has gone. Even after I became a touring Phish fan, I still dressed the same way I did as a punk & skinhead. When I first got into the scene, it wasn't an issue. But once Phish got big and all the superficial fans jumped in, you'd have been amazed at how much shit I took for having a shaved head and wearing punk pants or an Exploited shirt. It was especially annoying because it was all these fucking noobs giving me shit, even though I'd been seeing shows since they were in like elementary school. As little as I like the Dead Milkmen, that song rocks.

The genius that decided to give Siragusa an open mic to communicate with the guys in the booth should be shot. It's easy enough to flip away when they show him on the sideline, thus avoiding his babble. But when they decide to let him in on the conversation periodically throughout the game ... ugh, it's just too hard to avoid him.

It was Jindrak, not Stasiak. And how that is a negative thing is beyond me; he worked the dirtsheets and the smarks ... big deal. No he didn't. They were working and having fun with a few fans who were at the bar that night. It got back to the Internet and like everything else, the gossip boards and dirtsheets made it out to be a big conspiracy against us. You're right ... doesn't change my point, though, it just makes me re-word it. It was Jindrak, not Stasiak. And how that is a negative thing is beyond me; he worked the marks that were eating chinese food that night. If the other choice is being a smark that overly criticizes a wrestler because he's not one of my golden boys, I'll gladly be a mark.

While not the worst, I'd still say Madden just because there's a large # of people that fawn over his every word. The man stopped making sense in the 1990s ... how people don't see through his double-speak and contradictions is so baffling to me.

I don't always see eye-to-eye with Leena, but she's far from the worst.

^ Should that make a difference? Being an asshole to a fan is the same regardless of how political someone is behind the scenes, or how beloved they are on the 'net.

I never said that Eddie did worse. I merely pointed out that - using examples from recent history - that altercations with fans is not a fire-able offense, and has not really effected anyone's push. And, unfortunately for people that liked him, Eddie's altercations were the highest profile incidents of the past few years. If that's unreasonable, then I'll gladly be viewed as being unreasonable. In my eyes, comparing making a scene in a hotel and smashing the hotel's property, compared to calling a fan a cunt, is an unreasonable response.

I might be wrong, but I'm presuming that not a lot of people go to Jim Carrey movies to see good acting.

I think you two are posting on the wrong board WP Message Board EDIT: After spending a few minutes looking at the pictures, there's definitely some Nazi chicks that I'd be willing to fuck the racism out of. Blondie EDIT 2: Electric Boogaloo ... evidently using the WP abbreviation for White Power was a poor idea. Please note that the board referenced above is a nazi board, and not a board that belongs to a crappy TSM member.

Hmm, destroying a flower pot in a hotel because you're fighting with your wife, compared to responding to a verbal insult with a verbal insult. I really don't see how the two situations are comparable. And to reiterate: Eddie wasn't fired for disrespecting a customer OR for striking a customer. It seems like the lack of punishment for Orton is right in line with the company's policies.
