I'm willing to wager that a poster name like "Eddie Deserved to Die" or "Owen's Playing Possum" would be bannable.

Hopefully you at least killed that child before removing her heart. Just yanking it out of her chest while she's still alive is pretty barbaric. And hopefully it was a female child ... a dude to possessing a boy's heart is pretty gay.

I don't remember any of those things.

Ditto. And From Beyond the Grave: reiterating that you find posts with elipses annoying doesn't really answer the question that I asked. (for example, let's say that I announce that I don't like lacrosse - and someone asks why I don't like lacrosse. Simply saying "I don't like lacrosse" again isn't an answer to their question.)

How you managed to forget those life partner Jets fans that climb on each other's shoulders while wearing firefighter helmets is beyond me. I have some good, close friends ... but I don't want their junk on the back of my neck while they 'lead' a chant at a football game. And back on topic: Lushus is cool shit. Compared to the flamebaiting and trolling so prevalent on both boards, what he said was hardly worthy of a thread calling him out. Lastly, FBTG: why the hatred of elipses?

I'm pretty indifferent about it, honestly ... they really needed to shore up the D, but a guy that's only been plus in +/- once in his career isn't really the greatest pickup. Plus, Scatchard's been playing well for the B's lately. Having said that, though, Tanabe is instantly their second best healthy D-man (behind only Boynton) and there was no way the B's would dig themselves out of this hole with so many rookies on the blue line. Best of all, they saved some $$, which will give them a bit of leverage to pick up another player to help them out. Sinden never gave $4 million contracts to people like Zhamnov. That guy is the worst signing the B's have had since Coffey ... and at least Coffey was injured and retired about a month into his tenure. We're stuck with Zhamnov for a while.

From the Lance Storm thing that someone posted: That's awesome. I'm sure it was just to throw a bone to the fans of Calgary & Lance himself, but that's such a cool thing to do. Plus, if given enough time to prepare, that match would be the shit.

How would she call you anything with doze nutz in her mouth?

Christian as a world champ makes me want to watch shows & pay for PPV's. Monty Brown as champion makes me want to read spoilers online. I haven't watched much TNA but from what I've seen, Monty should be mid-card for life. Rant & Rave about how over he is ... and I'll remind you that the Godfather got over with a catchphrase, too.

I thought you meant a bong at first, Mole ... I was wondering what episode you saw that I missed. Then I backed up the 1 page and saw what you were responding to ... made much more sense. Not to toot my own horn, but I bitched about that in this very thread, some time late last week ... I thought it was dumb for them to give a cliff notes version of what was going to happen in the next episode, by having Ana Lucia give a 30 second speech of what happened to them. It made for a cool ending to Wed's episode (with the parts from where we first met the tail-enders through the shooting of Shannon) but still gave away too much in the episode before, IMHO. No, Goodwin explicitly explained that he killed Nathan because Nathan would have still insisted that he was on the plane while AL was cutting his digits off. If he was one of the Others, then that's what Goodwin would have explained to AL before she killed him. I don't think the writers would put a swerve like that into an episode, without explaining it before the hour was up. And banging Shannon. If I was given the choice, I'd be pussy-whipped to. Torturing and chopping is fun and all, but getting laid is a bit more fun.

I'm starting to think that this is more than a shitty start ... it's going to be an all around shitty season. Hopefully, if nothing else, it'll be bad enough to cost MOC & Sullivan their jobs.

People can die over the death of a stranger all they want ... there's just no reason to post repetitive 'i'm crying now' updates. If you're that upset, take a few minutes to regain your composure ... don't rush online to tell everyone. And if people were half as upset in real life as they came across on the board, I can say -with no pride or exaggeration- that they cried more over Guerrero than I did over real life friends that have passed. -
Womb with a View by Charged G.B.H. ... not necessarily misogynistic but very anti-feminist.

It was a small role but he was passable in The Devil's Rejects ... still, I can't see DDP being any good in a starring role. Screw Austin/Hogan ... I'd rather see Foley/Hogan anyways.

1,000,000 people could sign this and it wouldn't make a lick of difference. There are more people that are apathetic about wrestling & what he said than there are people that care. Expect nothing more than an apology ... and I wouldn't even expect that much.

I agree ... for all the crap VKM catches from the IWC, I've heard many, many good things about what he's willing to do for his wrestlers ... putting Eddie & Regal through rehab, for example.

Well, when every other PPV is headlined by guys who aren't wrestlers, then yes, WCW deservingly became a punchline but for every Kevin Green and Jay Leno there is a Mike Tyson and Mr. T who actually did generate interest in the product. LT worked on some level as well. Besides, WWE is pretty much a mirror of bad WCW these days anyway. So what could it hurt to have Terrell Owens show up for a one shot deal where he has a face off with someone like Angle or Cena that gets mainstream press coverage? Even if he doesn't actually wrestle a match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because I don't think that it'd be positive mainstream press coverage ... it'd be a big joke on Sportscenter, Around the Horn, Pardon the Interruption, the Sports Reporters, and on and on and on. If it was someone other than TO, there'd be a slight chance that it would be a positive thing ... but the mainstream sports media is having a field day ripping on him as it is. Why would his involvement with the WWE be a positive for either party?

PJ might be as undeserving of wearing an A as Hal ... ugh. IMHO, Samsonov's good as gone at the end of the year. It seems that the B's knew/thought that they could only afford two of the big three (Sammy, Joe, and Muzz) and that Sammy was the odd man out. Both of the other two got long term contracts, and he settled on a one year deal. Trade him now before he leaves at the end of the year. I think even if they want him back, he'll leave.

Since you're here, something I've always wondered... How many pounds is a stone anyway? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure it's 14 lbs (give or take a few ounces)

WCW became a giant fucking punch line for using pro athletes (Rodman, Malone) and real-life celebrities (Leno) ... and yet people are thinking that it might be a good idea?!? Amazing.

He's only wearing one now while Leetch is injured, and will be giving it back upon Leetch's return. Having said that, though, I think Gill gets it only because of how long he's been a Bruin. Off the top of my head, I can't think of another current Bruin that's been on the team as long as he has. I personally think Boynton, Bergeron, or Samsonov are all more deserving than Gill is.
