How expensive can the train be? I used to take the train from Boston to NYC occasionally when I was a teenager, and I don't remember it being cost prohibitive. Plus, once you get to the city you won't need a car ... why bother driving in if you're just going to leave your car parked with you take the subway or a cab everywhere?

The main reason that I think it was dumb to put the IC belt on Flair is that the CCC-RVD feud over the IC belt was a feud that pretty much wrote itself. Now the CCC-RVD feud is a little more pointless, and Flair's holding a belt that there's no sensible angle for him to lose it.

I was a huge mark for both Kamala & Bundy. I found them more entertaining than a lot of the current wrestlers. The others, though, I agree ... I don't miss them at all. The thing that I miss most about classic wrestling is that they used quick angles to advance the wrestling, rather than using quick wrestling matches to advance the angles.

Iggy, you reference half a dozen college games that were very good ... but that's out of 50, maybe 100 match-ups. Obviously with a larger pool of games there's more likely to be an awesome game. How about the 55-0 game between Michigan and EMU? How about that 70-17 nailbiter for USC? Texas Tech putting 80 up on an overmatched team ... that's fun to watch. And, al, I know that we come from different camps ... but IMO baseball is every bit as overanalyzed as football. The NFL draft is in April, and thus there's a few weeks of hype before hand. It gets a large audience for ESPN so it's in their best interests to hype it.

The fact that they introduced Rodriguez' character in an episode last season and then didn't show her again afterwards was a pretty good hint that you'd see her again this year. It's not like her appearance wasn't foreshadowed last year.

The only way I can see ROH dying any time soon is because of a tug-of-war between the WWE & TNA. It seemed that the former had a working relationship with them (Hardy mentioning them by name, Punk staying aboard for a while even after signing with the E, Dreamer/Foley both making appearances, etc). And then now it seems that the latter has a deal with them ('the only indy TNA guys can work for is ROH'). I could see there being a conflict of interest & ROH suffering as a result.

From what I've pieced together, the people that are ready & willing to kill over a girl aren't the type of people that tell you in advance. If someone says that they're going to kill you, the most likely aren't planning on really doing it.

While it'd be really petty, and no better than the Billionaire Ted skits, I'd kind of laugh if their new gimmick was a McMahon 'parody'. Keep the whole inbred hick persona, but be Mark & Devon McMahon. It's not any worse than calling Virgil by that name to mock Dusty ... or by calling the same guy "Vincent" to mock VKM.

2Gold, the new gimmick isn't a Hanson brother parody, the original Dudley gimmick was. They should come out relatively normal and just let the fans do the signature spots ... e.g. have Mark push Devon, and then the fans will yell "Devon, get the Tables". Do a variation of the 3D and have the fans yell "3D". Get Devon on the top rope and have the fans yell, "Wasss ..." wait, nevermind, don't bring the wassup drop back. It wouldn't be hard to have plants in the audience to encourage the fans to yell what they want them to yell ... after just a few weeks the fans'll pick up on it and do it on their own.
