I like Vince Russo. Sorry, I do. But the guy always blows his load too quickly...he has good ideas (Sabin turning heel, losing the belt to Styles), but he pulls the trigger too fast. If spread out over the course of a few weeks even, his ideas could have much more of an impact. The product seems to have kicked into a higher gear it doesn't need. Slow down, let things settle in.

Belle and Sebastian's "If You're Feeling Sinister" is the perfect album to fall asleep to after drunkenly coming home from the bar, fresh from being turned down by a less than stellar chick.....

Not some Nick Van Exel stuff neither, full on ass whoopin'.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

Re: That Gay Video The only positive thing to come out of that was seeing that those guys could take off their tight shirts without knocking off their shades. Impressive! -
CM Punk is my new favorite wrestler. If there was ever a can't miss Austin, Rock, Hogan level star in the current mix, it's this guy. Austin could work. Punk can work. Rock could talk. Punk can talk. Hogan could draw against anyone. We'll have to see about that one. Being in the low-drawing ECW Brand isn't doing him any favors.

Bottom line, anyone who thought that was a horrible show is an idiot. A dumbass idiot. Two out of three of the title matches were good, not great. Monster's ball was short and ok. I liked the Nash invitational spotfest. Overall, thumbs up.

GREAT entrance for Kurt. Sort of a combination of Kanyon's late WCW/Rey's WWE entrance, only more badass.

LAX Homicide v Samoa Joe, post BFG. Book it TNA!

"We're in negotiations with Hogan," Nash rules.

1) Vs. Edge, Backlash 2002. Simple, smooth wrestling featuring little psychology, just Angle hammering Edge until the kid passes out. Of course, plucky babyface Edge battles back, only to get outsmarted by Angle in the end. Certainly not as well-known or praised as other Angle matches but it features a healthy Angle just prior to his super 02-03 run before his neck problems flared up. 2) Vs. Benoit, Rumble 2003. The height of Angle 02-03 run, this well-paced match featured Angle once again pounding on a plucky babyface, drawing in the crowd until the final eight minute sprint to the finish. Just fantastic. 3) Vs. 'Taker, No Way Out 2006. Angle's last great match. Getting anything good out of 'Taker at his age is tough but Angle slows it down and builds slowly to another wild sprint finish. 4) Vs. Guerrero, Wrestlemania 20 Angle's at his best when working with superworkers like Benoit, Guerrero and Mysterio who can keep up with Angle and then push him to another level. This match wasn't blow away but showed how to work with restraint and pull the crowd in with a simple story. Loved it. 5) Vs. Brock, Iron Man Match on Smackdown, Fall 2003. Some hated this match. I loved it however and every time Angle matched up with Brock, he really broke out as a babyface. Facing a monster like Lesnar really forced Angle to sell, which has always been a weak point.

Is there anyone here going to the Minneapolis, Minnesota Smackdown/ECW show on July 11? If there is, I'd like to speak with for an article I'm doing for the Minneapolis Associated Press. It's the first time WWE has been back to the Twin Cities since Eddie Guerrero's death last November. Since, the WWE has implemented their wellness policy, with many critics chirpping at it's effectiveness. I'd like to speak with fans going to the show and see their thoughts on the policy. Do you think it'll work? Most importantly, do you want it to work? Could wrestling be the same in a steroid-free world? These questions scratch the surface of the issue. Please, if anyone is going, let me know. Shoot me a PM or e-mail at [email protected]. Thanks for your time.

"Hey......Nothin' you can say!" Ugh.

It's decent, if unspectacular, experimental hip-hop.

I refuse to not take the side of the man who created Hot Buttered Soul. I'll defend him to the grave.

Wow. you can't be serious right?

Which means Carltio will become the next Chris Jericho....

If the match I paid for was good, then I'd consider it money well spent. It's as simple as that.

In a dark match, Rene Dupree beat some Dustin Rhodes-look-a-like. Nunzio and Funaki beat Spike Dudley and Akio. MNM beat two jobbers. Chavo Guerrero beat Shannon Moore, with Paul London on commentary. Smackdown: Carlito's Cabana opened with Carlito announcing the Big Show/Carlito match at Judgement Day. He also announced that Matt Morgan would be in his corner. This brought out the Big Show, who brawled with Carlito until Morgan hit him in the back with a chair. JBL aired a hilarious video demeaning John Cena's new CD. He then came out to fight Scotty 2 Hotty. S2H beat JBL by DQ. After the match, JBL beat Scotty down until he said "I quit." Booker T beat Mark Jindrak after Jindrak was caught saying some less-than-kind things to Booker's wife. Jindrak bled throughout the match. After a short video recapping their rivalry, Eddie Guerrero came out for an interview, but didn't say a word. He just stepped on Rey Mysterio's mask and walked out. Hardcore Holly beat Joey Mercury of MNM. Heidenriech (sp?) beat Orlando Jordan in a non-title match. Kurt Angle aired an "apology" to Booker's wife. He said that she enjoyed their encounter and he will do it again after he beats Booker at JD. John Cena was interviewed by Josh Matthews. Nothing of note was said. John Cena beat the Basham Brothers in a handicap match. He and JBL had a stare down afterwards. Their may have been more, hopefully someone will fill any gaps I missed.

The funniest thing is that the marks in Sioux City loved this stuff. They popped big for everything.

I'd watch it I'd buy a ppv to see that.

BEST movie this year so far. This movie should be required viewing for all sociology majors..... The characters are so well-defined, it's astounding that they fit all of it into one motion picture.

To quote Dave (as Rick James), "They should've never gave (that) n***** money!"
