Where is Slayer with that amazing pic of Tracy Brooks when you need him?
-
Locks: Batista vs HHH vs Orton - World Title JBL vs Cena - WWE Championship HBK vs Angle Taker/Kane vs Snitsky/Heidenreich Good Possibilities: Rey vs Orlando Jordon - US Title Shelton vs Hassan - IC Title Benoit vs Jericho Eddie vs Booker London vs Chavo - Cruiser title Flair vs Foley Hogan/Rock vs Edge/Christian Longshots: Victoria vs Trish? Bashams vs Dudleys La Resistence vs Regal/Tajiri Either way, I think that all wrestlers listed are going to on the card, in some way.
-
Still though.......... You gotta admit that was fucking funny. Come on, bro.
-
Wow....lots of tension in here. ::Changes subject:: How bout that Casket Match!!
-
Agreed. End of conversation.

To the skeptics to the Benoit opinion: I understand the fact that you believe smarks cream themselves over everything Benoit does, but the point some of us are trying to make is very simple. So simple that I will set it apart from this paragraph so you'll understand. Chris Benoit won the 2004 Rumble. But was he ever viewed as a threat to win this year? No. I don't think it ruined the Rumble. I just think it was a slip up, plain and simple. Stop jumping to conclusions.
-
I understand you think it's smark double standard, but the guy fuckin won the thing last year. I've seen Rick Martel get more hype in-match for his 91 iron man performance in 92 than Benoit got during the past few weeks.
-
I agree with the opinions on Benoit. When he was in there, he was never the center of attention or even mentioned. Weird, really....
-
Iron man was Benoit again. He came in a #2 and lasted till the final eight or seven I believe. But yeah, I agree that London's bump was so sick!
-
Oh man, these fuckers need to have their balls chopped off and fed to them. I hate that shit so much.
-
Haku/Meng. He is, hands down, named as the toughest guy in the business. But he was never taken seriously by the fans.
-
According to more detailed spoiler report, Teddy Long was speaking to someone in his office amidst the whole Angle-JBL drama, but wouldn't reveal who it was. That's probably our mystery entrant.

Otherwise known as Rolling Stone Magazine. According to them, music hasn't existed since Nirvana. You mean the magazine that gives three-and-a-half stars to almost every album they review? Yeah, that piece of shit publication. Great photos, though....

Otherwise known as Rolling Stone Magazine. According to them, music hasn't existed since Nirvana. People who diss "Love and Mercy" and "God Only Knows" annoy the shit out of me.

Fuckin' Dusty finish! Awesome match though...

And that is the main difference. His turn is a slow burn and is dictated by the fans and their overwhelming response. If I remember correctly, Orton had a smattering of cheers and BAM! they turned him. I think he'll have staying power, as long as the RAW brand keeps the contenders coming. That's the thing about Batista. He is only as good as the man standing across the ring from him.

I was watching a WCW ppv from 99 and I saw a Mikey Whipwreck match. Horrible, horrible attrie. Even for normal street walking.
-
Well, the question is then: Who gets the biggest rub in the history of "sports entertainment?" Orton? Jericho? Benoit? JBL? Shelton? HHH? Paul London?????
-
Nothing. The article, however, is just more shit paving the way for when Rob opens another indy promotion again, because he'll say that he can get guys jobs with the WWE, so they should work for him. If you don't read this as a "three cheers for Rob" article, I think you're missing something. Or maybe, just maybe, the article is about how much the wrestler impressed WWE officials and will get a dark match in the near future. Come on man, I'm a fuckin' journalism major. The first three paragraphs talked about the wrestler. Aside from the three after, Feinstein had nothing to do with the article. Hell, with that logic, Tommy Dreamer was the main figure in the story. I just don't like how every time the Feinstein's name is mentioned, people drop what the original purpose of the thread.
-
Umm... maybe he was drunk? Come on fellas, don't act like you haven't made a mental error under the influence.
-
Here's a question: What the fuck does Feinstein's criminal record have to do with Matthews ability as a wrestler?
-
Oh stop, she's just having fun.

One can make an entire thread based upon horrible Bulls draft selections in the post-Jordan era. But Hinrich seems to have them on the right track. Give the Baby Bulls some DAP! Anyway, Charles Barkley is an avid supporter of Jayson Williams and his attempt to get back in the league. I always remembered him as a vibrant personality and a hell of a rebounder. Hopefully none of that has left amdist his trail.

Oh man, New Jack on TNA: "You get fired (from WWE), where you gonna go? TNA?" ::Looks wide-eyed into the camera.:: "Yeah right....TNA is now a disney attraction! Fuckin A!" New Jack for Union Chief!

Rudo, you're right on everything except this point. TSM is apart of a web of wrestling/pop culture websites. I heard of TSM from a wrestling website, WWFWCW.com. It was a word-of-mouth kind of thing. When I got here in 2002, the articles were well written. They weren't grammatically-challenged or of horrible quality. I believe that one of the main reasons I heard about TSM in the first place was the quality of their written pieces. A site can gain a following based upon well written articles and features. I, in turn, told a few of my friends to check out the site. I believe that some others did the same. If TSM plans on writing about wrestling or pop culture with depth and passion, I see no reason that word-of-mouth cannot act as an effective advertising tool. I honestly believe that the hardest part of this equation is going to be the in-depth writing. Write well and they will come.
