This is great!

That whole WWF title belt presentation segments (2 of them..one before and the one after the commercial) as some classic WWF TV. Austin attacking McMahon, getting arrested and claiming "I ain't through you, Vince, not yet but a long shut" PLUS Taker/Kane attacking McMahon and breaking his leg was just great stuff.

Very good match...if I recall, the match came about when Austin had in his contract that he signed with Shane he could get a WWF title shot anywhere, anytime. In fact, Judge Mills Lane showed up on the titantron and made it offical as well. Match was very hot and very good with a finish that was intresting at the time with the Taker shovel incident. I'd love to see that match again but I'd imagine it was much like their Mania 15 brawl.
-
Also a very rare time in which you'll see Austin get tombstoned.

Robin Williams is a fucking riot.
-
I don't see him wearing wrestling tights or shorts up until Mania on WWE TV, so I'd imagine.

I was waiting for someone to say this all week so I could respond to them. I'm going to call a foul on you for that one...I disagree. Last Monday, Foley talked about in the interview how he couldn't believe "no one came out to help." In the way Foley said this is as well, you knew where it was going. On Monday, Rock should come out and say that "If the boys in the back won't help this man, then I'll be damned because I will." Remember back in December when Foley was in trouble with the Frenchies and Rock saved the day? Rock always has had the respect for Foley since the Rock & Sock Connection days and he has gone out of his way to help him out before. He's going to do it once again because Foley is outnumbered (once again). The angle Rock is entering makes great sense and considering he's very limited in what he can and can't do for feuds and angles because of his busy scheudle, this will do great and will have a nice pay off at Wrestlemania. There. That felt good to get that out.

Well, I certainly changed my mind enough times and in the end it paid off. I got this one @ Circuit City (The one originally at Best Buy) for 79.99 instead of 99.99: http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?c=1&...&qp=0&oid=67794 The guy who was helping me out was a total idiot and I told him to call Wal-Mart because they had it there for 79.99...and he said "Alright, no problem" and ringed me up and that was that. There was ONE Sony VCR at WalMart ( http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp...4564#long_descr )...but the one at Circuit City/Best Buy was newer. So I ended up getting to keep my DVD player, get the best VCR on the market, and save 20 bucks. Not bad for doing research...thanks for everyone's help thru this long and painful journey. ...sorta.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id...goryId=cat03023 If anyone owns this or has had experience with it, please give me some comments. I record a lot of wrestling so the fact it records high quality EP is a turn on with me and I like to have my XBox/DVD player hooked up with great sound quality and video quality as well. Also, if there's possibly a VCR out there that you like better that maybe cheaper, please reply.

If Bret had been treated properly in WCW, then WWF would be no more and that's not an assumption...it's a fact. They WOULD of driven the WWF out of business because Hogan/Hart would of done crazy money, PLUS they still had Sting/Hogan. And the nWo was still hot and this would of made it even hotter. But it didn't so boo. Edit: UYI isn't exaggerating either. All the WCW fans would by that PPV, plus all Bret's loyal fans (WWF fans or not) would of too. And I'm sure some of the general fans would find it intresting asl well. Would you rather see Bret Hart's debut in WCW in a match with Hulk Hogan, or a throwaway match with Brian Adams on Nitro? Exactly.

80 bucks? Good lord.

Teddy Hart is a disgrace to the Hart Family. I hope I read about how someone kicks his ass at ROH, legit.

I concour. I believe that's what I think I'm aiming for. Thanks again for everyone's help.

Need MAJOR help in finding these T-Shirts.
iliketurtles replied to iliketurtles's topic in General Wrestling
I've seen that on E-Bay before for like 10 bucks...brand new. In fact I think one of my friends got it. -
I posted this around February of 2003 in the WWE section and got little to no luck and I've had the link in my signature since then and still no luck, so I figure "What the hell...let's post again." Not everyone reads my sig and considering the new rules and regulations from the mods around here, General Wrestling seems to get more traffic. I've looked on E-Bay, WWEShopzone.com, searched the internet...I can't find this damn t-shirt. Angle wore it in late 2001 to about the Spring of 2002. On the back it says "The Truth Hurts." Here's a pic: The 2nd shirt is one Bret wore in 1998. I'm sure it will be MUCH easier to find the Angle shirt than this one, but either way. Here's a few pics: (Front) (Back) At this point I'm pretty much desperate so ANY help is greatly appreciated.

You realize that's pretty much any movie or play, right? They just try to crack at Professional Wrestling every way by saying ignorant statements and slandering...and you can just turn it around at the critics.
-
If they bust out the black and gold ropes for Mania, that would be such a nice touch. I hope they realize that little things like this might seemingly not go a long way, but combined they sure as hell do.
-
The most notable Eddie vs. Angle match was from Smackdown Halloween 2002...around *** if not more. Other than that I'm sure they've had tons of house show tag matches.
-
I see him coming back to his 97-98 look.

What are you guys thoughts on DVD/VHS VCR Combos? I've got a DVD Player that works awesome (Mintek...paid 50 bucks @ Best Buy for it 2 years ago) and I could always just give that away or something. Here's what I'm looking at: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp...3A62055%3A92528 Whatcha think?
-
First off...thanks for all your help guys, I appreciate. This is really weird, but the Sony VCR was taking down from Best Buy's website for whatever reason. Here's the same one at Circuit City (incase you didn't see the Best Buy link): http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?c=1&...&qp=0&oid=67794 Looking at the Walmart one, that looks ALOT better. Only thing I'm curious is what the difference is between the one from Best Buy and the one from Wal Mart (explaing the decline in price...but I guess it's not that big of a deal because they look the same to me). Here's the exact review on the exact brand that is being offered at Walmart: http://www.epinions.com/pr-Sony_SLV-N500_VCR For whatever reason, I was going to go to Best Buy today to get the VCR but I didn't and ended up coming back home and reseraching this stuff more. I'm glad I did. I currently have a JVC VCR that I bought about 2-3 years ago and I've used the hell out of it recording stuff on TV...some of the buttons on the clicker don't work, when I use it for DVD playing and XBox playing there's only mono sound instead of stereo sound, sometimes it doesn't take the tape well when I put it in...I'm just kind of fed up with it and I'd like to get a new one that has better EP recording as well. I'm thinking about going and getting the one at Walmart, though.

Well from the looks of it, Perfect & Hart do a heel beatdown on Luger.
-
They got a beauitful reaction on that F5. Look at the crowd...everyone is STUNNED.
-
Seriously. Coolest. F5. EVER.
-
I didn't see that one coming at ALL. And Austin taking an F5? DAMN.
