Well the Cubs didn't quite make it yet... Hell of a game by Beckett, though.

So that sets the example that if everyone does something wrong, they just get a slap on the wrist? That's bullshit. I would of thrown out Clemens and Pedro just to give a wakeup call to everyone and set them straight. That would of gotten the attention of everyone. Clemens thrown out? Please explain why, give one LOGICAL reason. Damn man, why must you guys be so pigheaded. Thinking about it now, I would of done Pedro/Manny gone from Boston & Zimmer/Clemens from NY: Pedro - Pointing to your head and saying "YOU" after he threw at Garcia was pretty over the line. And his altercation with Zimmer should of done him in. Manny - Overreacting, and clearly yelling "FUCK YOU" right on camera in front of millions of people. Really nice, Manny. Clemens - He could of ignored Manny's overreacting, but he was right back saying "FUCK YOU" right back to him. And it's not like they said "Fuck" out of frustration...they were both threats. If I was in charge of MLB, I would NOT tolerate such bullshit like the beginning of the bench's clearing with Manny/Clemens yelling at each other. I know society is in the shitter today, but baseball is still one of the only family sports left and if I had a kid and I was watching with him, I'd be embarassed. AND the fact media fucking shows it over and over again makes it even more disgusting. Totally unacceptable. Edit: Also, it's not like Manny, Pedro, and Roger are just regular players...they are mutli-million dollar stars. And you know who the majority of their fans are? Little leaguers...not specifically, but around that age. So you are saying by not ejecting anyone, it's okay for a 12 year old to point to his head and say "YOU" to a guy in the dugout? Or to yell "FUCK YOU" at someone? That's the real crime in all of this...no values and no punishment. Zimmer - Going after Pedro pretty much explains that. So that's my logic...and my opinion.

Right, when there's no one else there to save your teammate and he could be in danger. Not when there's 10 Boston Police officers already there breaking it up. Once again, the cops deal with the incidents with un-authorized people on the playing field. That's their job. Garcia was not only endangering other people and making the problem worse by getting in the middle of it, but he even hurt himself. It's called being professional. If my memory serves me right, I didn't see Bernie Williams running out to the bullpen. It's because he knows better and he seems to be one of the few professionals left.

I thought the Boston skit was the best, especially the Don Zimmer comment. Good review, Bob.

Own it...got it off E-Bay for like 15 bucks, almost brand new VHS. -
Zimmer went to the hopsital? I dunno what to think about that.
-
Damn. Cubs are rollin.
-
Exactly. Hey, I'm just saying, that when you have an organization that has (in recent years, of course, so cut out the Bronx Zoo shit) prided itself on professionalism like the Yankees have, this kind of nonsense just isn't stood for. Exactly. And I'm sure this situation will be taking care of when the groundskeeper is fired this evening. Once again, it's not like the entire groundskeeping staff had a brawl with the Yankees. One guy did, and who knows why. Maybe because he was provoked, or maybe because he's a fucking idiot?
-
Well, from that to Cubs/Marlins.
-
Exactly.
-
Oh I totally agree, and whether or not the guy was provoked or not...he's going to probably end up fired before the night is over. But none of you who are bashing the Sox (fans, staff, team, etc.) are mentioning how 2-3 Oakland fans were jeering at the Red Sox players after a near-fatal collision out in Centerfield. That's the point I'm trying to say. You guys are jumping too much on the gun against Boston.
-
Isn't it funny that no one is saying anything about the asshole fan in Oakland, but yet when a groundskeeper gets into an altercation, you guys are all over him?
-
The Red Sox needed some clutch hitting like the last 6 innings...and they fucking blew it. Great.
-
Did the groundskeeper/fan whatever go after Garcia? No. He's in right field, not the bullpen. Zimmer went directly after Pedro. And big difference between an over zealous piece of shit bench coach for the Yankees and a drunk ass fan.
-
You fucking biased pig. Honestly. A fan has no reason to jump on the field. And suddenly Pedro can defend himself but not Garcia? And you're not biased? It's called having class and keeping your temper in check. YOU LET THE COPS GO AFTER THE DRUNK FANS, you fucking idiot.
-
LOL...it was a groundskeeper!
-
Oh my god. I'm not being baised, but I have no sympathy for Garcia...he probably broke his hand punching the fan's face...let the fucking cops do that.
-
Go figure...a fucking drunk goes in the Yankee bullpen.
-
Well obviously you don't know what you are talking about because they only showed the replay 50 times clearly showing Zimmer going after Pedro. And Pedro just shoved Zimmer down, and you are acting like Pedro is Satan. He didn't even punch him.
-
Pedro shouldn't of done the pointy to the head thing, but by no mean should Zimmer attack Pedro. His fat ass should of stayed in the dugout. He asked for it. And once again, Pedro didn't mount him and pound the shit out of him so to blame Pedro on this is pretty stupid.
-
Great job Nomar.
-
What are you talking about? Did you not see Zimmer go after Pedro or something?
-
Timlin is the fucking MAN.

Bah.
