I agree with that. I mean, it's obvious they can't hit a home run every week. But the constant re-reuns and down time definately takes away from this show. They did this crap too about halfway through the season when the episodes started to drain, and then they've been back and forth since then with solid/awesome/eh episodes. If the Finale dissapoints, then that's really going to be something that takes me by surprise.

I'm reading around on different sites and stuff and I can't believe the backlash this episode is getting. I mean, jeeeeesh. This was not the episode people were looking for.

One thing that bugged me was about how the cliffhanger revolved around Jack's quest to go find John Locke at the end of last episode...and it was solved when Kate convinced him not to go in the first SEGMENT?
-
There's no set in stone fact that Jack is the good guy and Locke is the bad one. A lot of people think it's going to be the other way around before the season is over.

I thought it helped the Sayid character out. Once he started doing his shit with Shannon his character really turned for the worse. For the first, say 10 episodes, he was one of my favorite characters and then that just stopped for the good portion of the 2nd half of the season. I thought the Republican Guard turned CIA guy was kinda eh, but it did have it make sense and all come together. Especially the final segment when he was leaving the suicide scene. So what about Locke confessing he hit Sayid? Not that big of a shock, but glad they gave in on one of the secrets. And as hot as Evangline Lilly is, her character Kate is REALLY starting to get on my nerves. The whole drugging Jack was not cool, though it was for the greater good (title of the episode means more than just Sayid.) Ahh. I have a feeling they are going to go the sympathy route with her episode, but so be it. I can however see the fact we've gone forever with a new episode and this one was somewhat underwhelming.

The visit to Congress didn't give Selig a wake up call or anything. Finally, start doing some legitimate things, Bud.

One Night Stand To Receive Little Promotion by WWE

My other idea is because you know that someone from WWE is going to be apart of the show that never was in ECW, have Flair and HHH show up through the crowd after the main event (assuming it's Dreamer vs. someone, Dreamer wins, they do the handshake bit, mutual respect) and beat them down. Flair in ECW? HOOLY SHIT. Have them cut this total fucking anti-ECW promo, uncensored, stuff like that. Fans literally wanting to get out of their seats and kill these two. Maybe even have some ECW guys or planted fans come in and get totally destroyed. And then. 13. 13. 13. -

They so need to open the show with Joey Styles in the ring, have Stephanie come out to big time heel heat and bash ECW and stuff like that, and then.. "AND WELL....WELL...WELLLLLL." Take it from there. -
All floor and loge seats have been sold so far, but you can still get somewhat decent balcony seats still. It's probably going to be sold out.

It was such an awesome feeling when they put up the graphic for Angle/Benoit and playing "Falling Apart" after cutting away from Steiner with his arms in the air because the place made a big pop and everyone around me, including myself was all "Now it's time for some fucking wrestling." The crowd was basically dying for something to blow us away after that and boy, did we ever get our money's worth. I almost wonder if Benoit would of gotten the standing ovation if it wasn't for the match before. Not saying it wasn't possible, but it's something to think about. We all weren't just going to sit on our hands and do nothing for the rest of the night because you gotta think of the money you spend to go to a PPV (which boggles my mind at some crowd's being so dead at shows...yeah they may suck, but at least get your money's worth.) I also went to Backlash 2003 a few months later and even though the match quality wasn't that great, it was really enjoyable, almost maybe even more fun then the Rumble. But Rumble will have so much more of an impact on me through life than Backlash ever did. Though I did get to see Rock's last singles match ever. And the Hollywood entrance live, which is the greatest thing ever.
-
The most amazing thing about that? The fact the act that followed was the greatest match I've ever seen live. Maybe ever. What a night. And thanks for the compliments. Mickelson definately would go along with the trend, but I'm not that big of a golf fan. I guess I had to do just because the eeriely similiarity of Benoit/Red Sox is beyond belief, now that they both won "the big one."

Survivor Series 2002... We didn't really give him much love in Boston at the Rumble 2 months later.
