I thought at first that Triple H was going to have to wrestle them all in a 2 hour gaunlet match. And beat them all.

Waterproof Blonde - Just Open Your Eyes. It's on Volume 6. They did Sean O'Haire's theme in 2003.

Who has been more sucsessful in WWE?
iliketurtles replied to Frankie Williams's topic in The WWE Folder
Both guys are even. I'm more captivated by Benoit's story than Eddie (though Eddie went through a lot more adversity than Benoit did) just because I've always been a bigger fan of his. I think Benoit's had a bigger impact because he was the main player when they brought him into the company in 2000, and he's had tons of ups and downs when it came to his on-screen character...and he had the picture perfect moment at Wrestlemania. Successful? Both are on the same level. Better story? For me, Benoit. But it could go either way. -
Would it be ok if once Raw ended, someone made a Discussion thread about what happened on Raw? I'm sure the page amount will be at lesat be cut in half becuase it wont be people just posting random things throughout the thread.

This is awesome news. Maybe he can send some logic into some certain people in this company. And I'd LOOOOVE to see him as a General Manager or something. He'd be 90485340958 more useful then what they have going now.

Sox outfield Gabe Kabler signed with a Japanese team for next year, so there goes any dream scenario of the 2004 Sox staying together forever.

Ever since Angle came back, I think for last years' Rumble, he started looking really ripped and a lot less muscle mass. I think he either stopped juicing, cut down his work program because it hurts too much, or he really is just becoming more lean. His arms look small as hell but maybe he wants to loose weight. Don't ask why..

Holly better get fired after tonight
iliketurtles replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
I think Holly should wrestle Lesnar again. I'd like to see Holly get fired right after Lesnar eats him up, too. Even if Lesnar doesn't want to come back, just have him do a Cameo on Velocity or something and F5 Holly via A-Train style back in Jan. of 2003. That would be fun. -
And the best PPV theme song for 2004 was...?

The video shot of Artest leaving the arena being controlled by two people and fans throwing everything at him is something that will always be in my mind. Espeically if Artest ends up retiring/quitting.
-
I'm more suprised that Jackson didn't get as much as I thought he would then the Artest ruling.
-
Stern's on right now.
-
Daaaaamn. I didn't think Artest was going to get kicked out for the rest of the season, but he earned it. And what did Miller do for 1 game anyways?

I thought the Amy thing on Weekend Update with the "pull it" was hilarious. The dog was fucking HILARIOUS...I was laughing my ass off the entire skit. I didn't catch the ending, oh well.

That's what one of the coaches was saying in a press conference.

Love the idea, but SD is so weak could they really do that? Fans will be paying 35 bucks just for that one match because there's absoutely nothing else below the main event level that's worth watching on Smackdown right now. Even if you had it go 45 minutes.

Give it time. The fans need to be able to have the time to realize what's going on. Don't be afraid to foreshadow it...honestly...the perfect example was Goldberg vs. Lesnar for Wrestlemania 20, though there was a lot screwed up about that (the fact the feud turned into Lesnar vs. Austin becuse of Goldberg's contract situation, match was destined to be bad since everyone was leaving soon there after, etc.) Make the reason for the feud REALISTIC. The Hogan/Rock confrontation on Raw after No Way Out 2002 was the perfect example. Fans knew this was Babe Ruth vs. Barry Bonds, so they already had a story ready and this confrontation made it all seem right. The beatdown afterwards was PERFECT. Absoutely perfect. And you know what it did? It got the nWo over as heels, which no one said could be done. It was a realistic gang attack. Of course, you know what happened after they came back from the commercial break to totally overblow it, but this was exactly how a feud should start. Problems are evident between two wrestlers...and then it just blows over to extreme hatred. You need to feel the passion between both wrestlers...it's all about chemistry. Some are naturals, some guys just don't have what it takes when feuding with each other. Triple H vs. Kurt Angle could of been the match/feud of the year in 2000, but for A LOT of reasons it just never worked...one main one is that they never really worked that great together, both in the ring and off camera. It just wasn't intresting. A feud should never go to long, and that's just decided with how the crowd reacts. This is why a lot of the fans reacted negatively to Shawn Michaels and Triple H, it just got to the point it was so stale no one cared. You want to give them an ending they'll enjoy, and it's not always necessarily the bad guy losing. While Wrestlemania was usually the climax point to the year, it wasn't in 2000 with Triple H retaining. But because of that, they had Backlash 2000...which was of the same calibeur as Wrestlemania 16...and popped another huge buyrate. I think the one reason why the WWE does so much stupid shit is because they try to hard, when if they can just stick to a main formula and constantly spice things up, they'd be a lot better. Someone made a good comment a few weeks ago saying they should focus more ont he wrestlers than the characters. If they did that, they'd be set. It's not about goofy characters. We aren't in that stage anymore. That's why all these new guys have come in this year with retarded characters, been pushed really strong, and it backfires immediately. That's just a small piece...I could go all night about this topic, but that's a start.

I have no idea why, but whenever I think of Christmas Raws...I think of Angle vs. Jericho vs. Rock in 2001. That was actually a good match. ...it's 2:00 AM and I'm exhuasted. Bed time.

Interesting Note from Holdiay Issue of SD Magazine
iliketurtles replied to Jericholic82's topic in The WWE Folder
If you noticed on the 5th Anniversary special for Smackdown, he was specifically refered to as Hollywood Hogan. -
I thought Raw on USA was much better. I would be happy to seem them restart their relationship with them again.

So is the game worth buying for 50 bucks?

I thought Halo 2 was good.

They are about to show the footage of both the football and basketball games on Fox News if you haven't seen either yet. What a crazy 24 hours in sports.
