The Shield Season 4 Offical Thread

Close's character is named Rawling, right? Is it just me, or is she making a big mistake trusting Vic to head up the new operation? Vic will not change, doesn't matter what is at stake, and this will come back to bite her in the ass in a serious way. Good opener! I'm on board for the rest of the season, not sure about the other two advertised shows. Seems like too much too soon.

    Orton's Immaturity

So he pulls all these stunts and still gets to nail Stacy Keibler? Nope, still not surprised.

    Hero or Villain?

If I had a choice, I'd want to be the villain. I'm the "nice guy" too often in real life, so I'd like to break out of being typecast.

WWE to Produce Montreal Screwjob DVD

I'd rather have a plain "Best of Bret Hart" DVD than a Montreal Screwjob one. I'm looking forward to the ECW DVD the most of the four. I hope Awesome/Tanaka makes it on.

    Miracleman Alan Moore Run

Is the download still working for everyone else? It quits after about 700KB, saying the file source can't be read.

    Chris Masters

You know, for some reason, I have a feeling Masters will be filling Batista's spot on Evolution in a morth or so. Cocky bodybuilder type rookie? Sounds like Triple H has a new protege.

    The SHield Seaosn 4 Spoilers

With Chiklis around, you don't have to worry about that. So with the Strike Team broken up and new characters coming in, are Lem and Ronnie gone from the show now?

    Tarantino DVDs & Others 3-for-$30

Actually, I think it was leaked that the special editions will start in August.

Jan 25th shall be "Jim Ross Day"

All right JR's yearly hometown humiliation!!! What did they do for this last time? The last bit I remember was the Kiss My Ass Club.

    Rock leaving WWE?

Rock is never on WWE shows. He hasn't contributed anything worthwhile in over a year. Who cares if he's gone? His time is over.
  11. I've read some articles about the release of HD-DVD's and Blu Ray's, but does all this mean that I won't be able to watch my regular DVD's and have to buy them all over again? I honestly don't know that much about this shitstorm, so any info is greatly appreciated.

    Raw House Show Report

Doesn't sound like that great of a show besides the HBK/Flair and Edge/Benoit matches. No Triple H, huh? Sounds like the house show I went to in Duluth a few years back that Austin ducked out on, despite being advertised for it.

    LOST

After listening to Locke's speech about predators to Jack, I wonder if his intentions are really all that sinister. Think about it, Locke knows that Ethan alone is very dangerous. And if there are more like him that are working with him, then the plane survivors wouldn't stand a chance against them. Perhaps Locke is putting people through his tests to strengthen them for an upcoming fight. He's helped Jack realize he's a leader, helped Charlie kick his habit, and has now helped Boone cut himself off from his sister; all acts that help the survivors become stronger. He's preparing the troops for war.

    Best PPV of 2004?

Thanks for all the feedback. Sounds like WMXX is the winner. BTW, what exactly are the "deleted/extended scenes?" Are they extra matches or something?

    Best PPV of 2004?

At the end of every year, I usually buy the best ppv the WWE has put on. For 2001 it was Wrestlemania, for 2002 it was Summerslam, and for 2003 it was Vengeance. This year, it seems like the two to choose from are Wrestlemania and Backlash. Which would you guys recommend? Keep in mind that I already own the Chris Benoit DVD, so I have the WM main event.

How Many People Here Actually Have Dreams..

The chances of me wrestling in the WWE are slightly better than the chances of me becoming black............of which there is no chance in hell.

    Bone

I ordered this and was looking forward to reading it this weekend. Sadly, it's been delayed. Now I get to wait a whole month.

    Paul Heyman Released

Despite Heyman's faults (and yes, he certainly did have a few), at least he recognized that a fed can't just live off a handful of wrestlers forever, that new stars needed to be pushed once in a while. Too bad it didn't work out.
  19. I've tried looking on Google, but I can't seem to find many sites that have current WWE themes to download. Does anybody know of any?

    Best WWE DVD

I'd have to go with the Chris Benoit DVD, with HBK's running in second. Flair's was good, but not the best.
  21. Good for Booker, Paisley is a real fox.

    RVD trouble backstage

They actually punished Holly? What did he get 5 minutes to beat up an indie guy instead his usual 7? It's been said already: I don't see the big deal. It's not like RVD is getting a big push. He hasn't gotten one for the last two years, why would now be any different? Well, I guess they need SOMEone to job to JBL at the Royal Rumble, but still.

    ECW PPV? Roster Switches?

I would be shocked if there was an actual ECW PPV. Seriously, ECW wasn't a McMahon idea, so there is no chance it will happen. And even on the slim chance it does, it will just be a crappy McMahon-ized version of it, a la The 2001 Invasion.

    Star Wars TV Series

The Clone Wars cartoons have kicked all sorts of ass. Why not just stick with animation?

The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King EE

I finished watching it yesterday, and I like the movie more now. It feels fleshed out, especially the battle at Gondor. It feels more like the big battle it's supposed to be and less like a clip-job that it felt like before. Two Towers is still my personal favorite, but I can fully accept why people consider this the best of the three films. $27 very well spent.
