What beverage are you drinking right now?
PLAGIARISM! replied to AboveAverage484's topic in General Chat
Just a quick question, does wine make you fat? Cos I drink rivers of it now. I haven't given up beer altogether, and eat a fair bit of shit which results in this gut, I just wondered if wine will add to it. -
There was no music pre-sparks.
-
My name is in capitals. Yessir.
-
I used to be pretty good with reptile.
-
Tindersticks - Dicks slow song A guy threatened to 'bite mah fuckin nose off' last night. I probably did something, wine seems to send me into sporadic drunkeness, so I was able to hold my hands up and walk away seconds after realising I must have been a bit of a twat (though he must have been too) without really remembering what I was apologising for.

They don't blow me away or anything, but the Libertines could have been the biggest band in Britain, easy.
-
Those of us with cocks take offence to this form of censorship.
-
Oh, fuck it, something by sparks. I'm losing the will to post.
-
Well you know, I hate everything ever. Tom Waits' upcoming one is the only thing I'm remotely interested in, and Morrissey's was OK.
-
It horrifies me that 311 are still around. I shudder to think what would have happened if they'd caught on in the UK.
-
Inc, I need your help next.
-
Low update: The second half isn't as bad as I initially thought, but still strangely irritating.
-
The album is shite. I don't know why they employ a guitarist. He adds nothing, and ruins any promise the bass and synth focus had.
-
The Wedding Present - My Favourite Dress
-
If you twats get me into Journey, I'm going to sue.
-
I'm drunk and in site feedback. Feedback: I like site

I look gay. It works. Till I tell em to fuck off.
-
I'm English.

Yellow Magic Orchestra. They only had one truly great album, but for all it did for techno music, they should be mentioned in the same breath as Kraftwerk. Killing Joke. Again, the consistency isn't quite there, but the concepts they introduced are hugely significant, and the eponymous LP from last year is the only decent hardcore album in years. Sparks. They're fucking Sparks.

Joy Division - Wilderness. Random stuff: This wine may go well with matured cheese, but only cos it tastes like matured cheese. Gah.
-
Nick Cave - From Her To Eternity - About as OK as everyone says it is David Bowie - Low - Not the best album of the 70s. The Wedding Present - George Best - Quite good, but obviously no Seamonsters Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures - Easily the best pickup, least of all because it was £3.

I knew Inc would have posted My Sister already, I dunno why I bothered to read this. The Residents do have roughly 20 on the Wormwood CD tho. I'll post the lyrics to bridegroom of blood when I'm less drunk and can be bothered to find it downstairs. Don't anyone hold their breath though.

Good lad. As for your personal tastes, I think you'll like WB:RMX. It's a newly reissued remix CD of the first material they ever produced, in 1972, and sent to warner bros. They gave no names, so WB sent it back to 'The Residents' of the address they supplied. I never understood the lukewarm reaction to Roadworms, but then your average fan is a music nazi of fairly high caliber. The other most essential works are Eskimo Meet The Residents The Commercial Album Demons Dance Alone The Third Reich And Roll
