1. Absolutely fucking wonderful. 2. Really quite very good. 3. One of the few good songs on that album, but still pretty cheesy. I wasn't hugely keen on You Are The Quarry at first, but it's grown on me with every listen. No Vauxhall and I, but it removed Keane from the number 1 album spot, so it will forever have a place in my heart.

Jet have nothing to add to music. I just like to hear stuff i haven't heard before. It wouldn't bother me, but they're actually making money for this. At least make the effort, for christ's sake.

Bassist for quite a while, that's my main one but I'm embarking on a music technology degree in september, I hope to pick up piano/keyboards along the way if nothing else.

I'm contemplating shaving my head.
PLAGIARISM! replied to The Czech Republic's topic in General Chat
I can safely say that were I to shave my head, I would look mentally ill. If I have my hair short, I look like a lesbian. I keep with the sweeping tidal wave side mohawk arrangement for the most part. -
Do I detect a hint of denial?

I thought he'd been finished with them for about a month now. It's a shame, but it's their loss. Obviously he isn't 'Great' at this point, but if they'd at least established him as a name with a strong influence on the modern cruisers they could have used him to get someone over.
-
Also Roy Keane, absolute fucking twat.

Stop er, denying...that thing you're in denial over.

We do try. Sometime in the next 5 years, I hope to God you have heard the name 'The Atoms of Punishment'. We're coming.

Well, of course, he generally works with marvellous bands, but their sound is never quite as....beautifully fucking abrasive without him. I do rock pretty hard, so he wouldn't have a mountain of work to do.

This reminds me of my post about a year ago about my taking a shit in the street. The more memorable bit was purchasing a bar of soap, some paper towels and a bottle of water from the shop my friends were working in at the time. Hygiene first.
-
He's extremely meticulous with miking everything.
-
The Wedding Present - Seamonsters. One day I hope to work with Steve Albini. He might make me sound really, really good.
-
Oh God, please. Keane's time will come. There's a jagged rock with those morons' names on it straight in the middle of hell.

Roots Manuva > Dizzee Rascal, Though I want new material. The Streets is good, fit but you know it is awful but works in the context of the album, it's a story.

Obviously Orton/Foley smokes everything Batista has done on TV thus far, but as I've said it's the perfect match to hide Orton's weaknesses. His strengths currently are his facial expressions and comic selling (the stunner at SurSer in particular) which are put to good use facing a character like cactus jack. The finish however was mistimed, taking away some of the drama. He's still not got the fluency of moves of others at his level, I'm not completely shitting on him because I think he's making progress and is over now, but Batista's monster act is growing. He seems to be making more effort recently, whilst his role may not be as demanding he seems to have shed the 'captain fuckup' label branded on him upon arrival. Orton still hasn't got enough moves/spots to warrant a singles push.

The libertines I can tolerate for about one song, The strokes I don't mind but they started all this crap, I shan't shed a tear for the vines, Jet are horrendous, the White Stripes are OK for a while but were just awful at leeds 2002 and have no business being on the main stage, let alone headlining. If you like 'retro' get thy some RFTC, they were kicking the shit out of the aformentioned both musically and aesthetically a long time ago, and still are.

What?! As if a push should be determined by the number of moves a wrestler does?! I hope to god you're joking... No. But in WWE, with an audience trained on matches moving from one move to the next with a finisher exchange to end, it's pretty crucial. In addition to only having the one over move, he's not got the sequencing down yet, that's what I mean. Take Austin, aside from the stunner he just had vertical suplexes, stomps, punches and a bionic elbow for the most part, but he made them his own due to the timing and sequencing, which Orton hasn't thus far. Course, I'm not saying he won't get it with time because he does show promise, I just think he's been pushed a bit much with the experience he's got.

I think it was very very awesome but overlong. I think it'd be my second. Also, I'm curious to get folks opinions on Foreign Affairs as It's the only one I'm not hugely keen on overall.

Definitely mankind's piano theme and the Rougeaus. A-Train actually had a decent Sabbath esque one for about a week, that he came out to for his match with rikishi at either rebellion or insurrexion, I don't care to recall which.

The point is, does X-Pac = Ratings? Fuck, I'd rather think no.
-
Closest I get to 'oldies' are Cave, Waits, tindersticks.

Oh man this is sad. Halloween havoc? Why? And I thought SD was the gimmickry circus?

^ There! Fuck yeah! What do I win??
