Thank God his 'Professionalism' remained to the fore during this potentially disasterous encounter.
-
Whoa the ICP got burned in the shelving thread too
-
Do we know if he's doin ok? He's on other, shittier, less awesome boards isn't he?
-
The original Simpsons arcade game with up to four players was probably one of the best Simpsons franchises ever.
-
Well, two clearances off the line and a penalty shout all in injury time is something to take away from the derby. We didn't lose any ground, but fucking L**ds can never win when we need em to, and could have done with Palace holding on.
-
Hehehehe. You can almost touch the tears!
-
Dictators - 'Pussy and Money'. Essential idiocy.

When's the last time we had a thread about cover songs?

The Cramps make pretty much every song they cover their own. -
Yeah, that poster was an awesome twat. *snicker* So thinly veiled!
-
Milky, that's impressive photo of you from behind in mid-leap. WHo the hell was on hand for that one?
-
See, that was kind of flaming, Patrick.
-
Good job we tore you off that destruction trail, man.
-
He's probably being pencilled in to win the world title.

Raymonde's 'No One Can Hold a Candle To You' must have been written for Morrissey. Dunno if there's a studio version available tho, unless you count the Peel sessions. The Butthole Surfers actually did a really good job of 'The One I Love' (REM) but again I dunno if they ever did it in the studio. I like the Associates' 'Love Hangover'. The Birthday Party's version of 'Loose' from their Peel sessions is fucking wonderful. -
I think that'll come soon, actually. The amount of promotion they did for Hello Young Lovers over here, and the reception at wednesday's gig lead me to believe they'll be doing more stuff like that, if only for their European fanbase.

I'm currently LOVING The Knife's 'Heartbeats'. So I am currently listening to it.
-
Gene - I guess you couldn't have known what you were starting at the time.
-
Kotz also called someone a 'Stupid Fucking Cunt'. I dunno why, but it shocked me.
-
Yeah. At the time, the thought of them including Al Snow in a game was enough to send me into fits, esp as warzone had like 8 guys in it.
-
TUNNEL B1~! Well, it was ok.
-
Well fair enough, but as you mentioned, they've shifted a few cds.
-
He also like, y'know, writes all the songs n stuff I believe. Those who do gush about them obviously wouldn't want an 'actual' singer, would they? I'm from Sheffield like they are, that's all well and good. The album is *ok*. What really irks me is all these London faggot journalists creaming themselves about how this is a 'fascinating snapshot of life in a Northern town' etc. Fuck off. That's unbelievably patronizing. What's the difference? Do teenagers down South do stuff other than drinking, pissing around and arguing with their girlfriends?

Oh well, 'Fuck Yahoo Chess!' made me laugh for some reason.

Although history may have been somewhat kind to Flair, I think the 92 rumble is one of his truly exceptional performances. Sure, he did a lot of laying around, but the workrate involved was virtually unparalleled in the US at that time. And he sold for all 29 guys.
