I think Coldplay's 'The Scientist' still features highly on my little list. I refuse to listen to the one in the first post right now, however.

To be honest, he's not really fired yet, has he? My defence of Robinson w/ Terry/Toure/Ferreira in front of him seems to do the trick most weeks, and the Andy Cole Show didn't hurt...I've figured out a way I can afford Bent and still keep Owen and Cole, but it's kinda boring when everyone in a 20 person league has him and Frank bleeding Lampard. Probably pick Yakubu just for the variety, it's not like I lose anything.

Samoa Joe is great, there just isn't a big heel half as convincing in the US. I think Monty Brown is terrible.
-
Arcade Fire - 'In the Backseat' It's still the only song of theirs I really like to be honest. All the rest is ok.
-
Damn, not a bad win either. Should have done Plymouth really, but we are still missing a lot of first team players and not getting destroyed, so I'm still pretty confident.

Replacements - 'A Little mascara'

Decent haul! something from Reo-Coker would have been nice also, but that's helped an otherwise pretty dire gameweek.
-
I can't listen to them. But they are the biggest band in the world, I'd say. As long as Coldplay don't usurp them anytime soon, I can happily not care.

City 1 Andrew Cole 18 West ham 0

He's improved, definitely. As has Benoit. I think a motivated Regal is one of my favourite all-rounders.
-
Ah yes, Perry Saturn. My fondness for him hasn't dimmed, I assure you, people.
-
My fantasy team's going down the shitter this week, what with Gerrard out and Owen doing feck all with the captain's armband yesterday. Thus, we pray for some vintage Andrew Cole later on. Sigh.
-
Well, that's all gone to shit then. Chelsea 4 Bolton 1
-
Plymouth 0 Wednesday 1 Own goal, I'm willing to bet it was deflected off Brunt twatting it.
-
I can't think of a premiership team I'd like to beat Chelsea more.

Is Eddie really that good on the mic? His facial expressions are better than his actual vocal delivery, I think. Mind you, he's had some awful dialogue to work with.
-
I found the new bloodhound gang to be better than terrible. I actually like them, but my expectations were very, very low indeed.
-
Plus Uraguay are coming off a win over Argentina...
-
Old fashioned mic intro is good, he seemed perfectly capable at the ppv, both in the holly match and when he ran down Booker. He doesn't have the look of a main eventer, however. It's hard to look dignified with bleached hair.

I enjoyed Valentine/Garvin last time I watched it. Not tremendous, but Garvin never bettered it, I don't think. Jericho/X-Pac/Benoit/Eddie from No Way Out was pretty excellent, as was Eddie/RVD from late 2001(?)

Definitely have him as a face, he's got a great personality and it's a shame to waste it on a monster heel gimmick when there are younger and fresher guys to push in that role. I've always liked him. Have him do hot tags and stuff, he's always been over when he's done that.

Wrong thread. Should have been in 'what songs are stuck in your head..'
-
'Fountain and Fairfax' by Afghan Whigs has *just* been edged out by The Fall's 'Blindness' after about a week.
-
Kevin Nash not even dropping to his knees then falling into the corner was pretty terrible...My favourite's still Angle, I think.
-
Thanks. It's my natural effervescene though, honest. I've never been to a class drunk, come to think of it.
