Did anyone watch the Neil Warnock documentary? One of the greatest pieces of television I've ever seen. Peter Kay wishes he could write that stuff.
-
I have a friend who needs pretty much everything repeated to him in a three way conversation. Very annoying.

10cc - The Best Of The Early Years My dad said 'I think if you like Sparks you'll like them' and I see what he was getting at. Pretty good. Smog - A River Ain't Too Much Love Good, but much more unashamedly country than his previous output. Not his best. The Fall - Grotesque Good stuff, though I'm glad I waited till I found the remaster with the extra stuff for £5.

I guess, but that wouldn't be my first comparision. The vocals are more like a laconic Siouxsie Sioux, but simple though the music is it's hard to classify. I think you'll quite like the tracks I mentioned, anyway.

Been d/ling stuff by these, a lesbian quartet that Steve Albini produces for. As I gather they have two albums, I've heard good tracks from each and will be investing in them. Thus far, I'm particularly enjoying the songs 'On Parade' and 'Going Out Again', the latter a good example of their casual way of cramming different styles into short simple songs. Not heard them mentioned here, but I think it's up a few folks' alleys.

It's funny, I'd convinced myself at least one of the Spice Girls was dead.

The problem, apart from him being a twat, is that he assumes everyone is a casual or new fan. If you just apply this argument to them, it's *slightly* less idiotic.

I thought someone was after Rasiak?

I think Tyler's performance throughout that feud was tremendous. Good lad.

OK. PS controller. Shaped like a guitar. Awesome.

Well I saw the movie, and liked it. Less cutesy noises from the robots would have been nice, but it was kept to a minimum. I think that other than that, it pretty much dealt with all it needed to. -
Got Echo And The Bunnymen's Crocodiles, having heard most of it, and really, it isn't that good. I also think the British Sea Power Comparison (even though they aren't absolutely brilliant or anything) is a bit misguided.

Good lad. I think that even though 'This Town...' is the best single ever to get into the UK top ten, 'Equator' is my favourite.

Poison - 'Talk Dirty To Me' In some ways, I'll never move on.

That bread looks acceptable enough for the sandwich to be appetising. -
Even by today's standards, Blassie was an evil old FUCK.

when I induced vomiting cos Coldplay came on the jukebox in a pub we were in. Actually, I have no regrets. It all went in or around the ashtray. -
Seriously though, for the third goal Jags fell on his arse, and for the fourth he did the same, except went down like he'd been shot (not a dive, the guy was past him). He wasn't injured, he just....fell over in slow motion. The smoked salmon shirt made it all the more grotesque. In other news, our new sponsor is 'somethingNET' a Sheffield based internet provider. That won't go bust, ohhh no...

Also, after my blades fan mate showed us the highlights of some of their games this season, I really think we can stay up. They finished in the top half, and by god they are terrible. It's almost worth the subscription to bladesworld to see 'when defending goes horribly wrong' by Phil Jagielka in their 4-0 defeat against Wigan. Good God.

There are airholes.

Sparks. Looks damn good considering i took a photo of a book.

Steve Corino as a face.

We celebrate Graham Lee's contract signing! My mate met him in a kebab shop and asked him where he thought we'd finish this season. 'Mid table, at best.' Cheers Graham. Looks like the optimism payed off.
