Frank Black's 'Headache' is great just for the stupid grin on his face when he chainsaws a giant sign that says 'PAIN' in half.
-
YMO - 'Rydeen' Still very, very awesome.
-
It should also be pointed out that Menswear were the most underrated band of the 90's and that one Johnny Dean pout was instantly 10x cooler than the Libertines on their best day. Let's not go nuts. They were OK. I'm surprised they didn't make it big, though. He was fairly attractive. In a 'PLAGIARISM! is straight' kind of a way.

Another game, another red card. We really should have won that one. I mean, it's Oldham. I think we've still got about 7 players left. Apparantly without Whelan last time the midfield went to shit, so look out Wednesday's midfield going to shit for the remainder of the playoff bid. If you can take your eyes off the remarkably injured defence.

Coil - Gold is the Metal
-
Didn't know they were touring the new stuff yet. If true, a bit of a shame cos this record has a slightly wider appeal than usual. Slightly.
-
Update - I've now heard the song. The solo was funny.
-
I don't find Korn to be intolerable really, they're good for what they are. When I grew up I realised that all current ska is utter shite. And I started to get tired of some of the 'classics' as well.
-
I guess it sounds nothing like the futureheads if it sucks, then. Ahem.
-
You are awesome. Oh, stop it you! Killing time in the record shop the other day I found Rowland Howard & Mick Harvey's Teenage Snuff Film which I found to be OK. The last track sounds kinda like the Butthole Surfers, which is never bad.

Moz - 'I don't mind if you forget me'
-
OK, if Anyone seriously thinks that 'Lyla' song Oasis have just dragged out their collective arse is remotely good, or even ' a return to form' should be rounded up and shot. Who are they kidding anymore? Fuck off.
-
Unkle - rabbit in your headlights (though it gets less impressive with age). Windowlicker and Come to Daddy should be on every list. They never get old.
-
I think there's a few good acts on, Suicide in particular interest me, but I can never be arsed.
-
Other way round. The song is nothing without the video.
-
I love how Ian Brown's solo stuff ten years ago was met largely with indifference (cos it wasn't particularly good) and Kasabian are doing EXACTLY the same shit and are a 'truly great British act' or whatever.
-
I must say the spoilers in the first post shook my faith in humanity. Show sounds bland.
-
Hello is a classic.
-
OK, I've heard the whole futureheads album now, and Inc is off his fucking tits if he thinks these are good. So worthless. Maybe they'll be good in a couple of album's time, but who's gonna give a fuck by then?
-
Got my Glasto ticket. (!) May go to Leeds. Pixies, plus Killing fucking Joke are a mild rumour. That would do me just fine. However, I will be auctioning my kidney off in GC for anyone interested as I usually go through a couple of hundred on beer and wine alone in preparation for a festival.

The Only Ones - Peel Sessions. Rawk.
-
I saw Menswear's video for 'Sleeping In' the other day. It should be pointed out the their singer was wearing the Libertines-trademarked red legionnaire's jacket. Interesting...
-
Whoops, better shower, cos I reek of patchouli oil and burnt flag! That's awful.
-
On watching it for the first time in ages the other day, the episode when Burns runs Bart over is severely underrated. Burns and Lionel Hutz (In I believe his first appearance) have some killer lines in that one.
-
Oh lord, that would piss my brother off so much I'm using it against him in the next hour or so.
