Oh I've heard other writers go on about how bad OKC is being and how mean we are or whatever.

Ok the Celtics are my favorite NBA team and I haven't really looked at who all got traded I just saw that we got Wally. I'm sorry I always liked the white dude when I watched the Timberwolves during their run two years ago. I would say that I'd like to see him play for the Celtics but they're never on TV and since I live in Oklahoma I can't get any of their games. They're my fav team and I haven't seen one Celtics game this season. Fucking sucks.

I loved Chris Paul on Cold Pizza. Dana Jacobson is trying to say that OKC isn't their home and they're always on the road and he's like "Umm....yeah it's our home." And then she tries to ask him what the other players said about playing in New Orleans and he's like "ummmmm...........they said it was good." you could tell that nobody ever said anything good about New Orleans. God damn you'd be stupid to move this team back to New Orleans! And for some reason ESPN and the media are trying to act like it's a god given right that they return to NO and OKC is evil for daring to host the Hornets or want to keep them.

OU just blew out the worst team possibly in the country by 30 points......color me not impressed. Maybe if they SOMEHOW beat Texas.

Ok I was wondering who here can dance? I go to clubs and attempt to dance and sometimes it turns out well(after a few beers loosen me up) and sometimes I look rigid and unnatural. For a little while there I would get worried that I looked horrible and that made me dance worse. Eventually I just went with the music and went to my own world and I was able to dance much better. And I looked around the club and unless it was a girl or a black guy nobody else could dance. So is there anyone here that can actually dance or do you just go out there and move around and see what happens? I also have no rhythm. It's like the Jerk but only worse. When I was a waiter we'd clap in a beat to sing Happy Birthday and they eventually told me I wasn't allowed to clap b/c I threw them all off.

So UConn is number 1. That's fair I'd say. Texas has turned out to be much better than everyone in the Big 12 and it sucks. I thought that OU was much better than they are. Apparently the rest of the country thought so too b/c OU was ranked 5. I get to cover the OU/Texas game this weekend though. Should be fun b/c college gameday will be there and so will Dickie V.

Everything about the damn team. Everything you mentioned. Everytime they come on the TV my brain starts screaming "change the channel!" They're just a team that I don't like watching play football. Now get off my back about it. I don't even know why I'm defending myself. This board finds a reason to jump on me for anything. I say the Earth is round and one of you find a way to argue with me about it.

So it's not true that I like them? Thanks for telling me what I think. I don't like them. I find them boring. I hate watching them. It's that simple. When they come on the TV I find myself wanting to change the channel. That's as good of a reason as any to not like a team. Just because you root for a team in a paticular game doesn't mean you're a fan of the team. You guys need to understand that. And so b/c they're your favorite team I'm not allowed to dislike them? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

As a Eagles "fan", can you honestly root for Pittsburgh? Dama hates for no reason. Me, for some reason I would seriously hate to see Seattle get a title before Philly. Besides, I like Bettis and want to see him get a ring. I don't hate for no reason dammit you're just making that up. I don't know a lot of the reason that I hate them but I can tell you that I just don't find them entertaining at all. Whenever I see them on the field I just find myself thinking "I really don't care about this team." I just find nothing entertaining about them at all. I can't stand to watch them play football. That and my dad is pretty obnoxious in his support of Seattle. So those are my reasons. I just don't find anything entertaining about this team and I can find absolutely no reason to like them. I don't want to ever watch any of their games and I get bored when I do. So there. I don't hate for no reason. Once again you're making that up to troll me. Can we ban him again? For what? Defending myself when people are making stuff up about me?

If it was Carolina against Denver then I'd be rooting against Denver. Well this makes the Super Bowl actually easier to get into b/c I'll have a team to root against.

Wow somehow I went to the club 3 nights in a row. Now I'm paying for it b/c I'm sick as hell for never getting any rest and always being on the go.

Ok does anyone else have this problem I have? I've had the same friends pretty much since High School. I have other friends but I have the same core group if you know what I mean. Well in HS we were the nerds(yeah yeah i'm still a nerd. bite me) and never went to parties or really did anything. We'd play D&D on Friday nights, go bowling, go play laser tag, watch movies, or play video games. Nothing terribly exciting at all. Well that was all well and good ya know because we had fun and didn't need to do anything else. Well I was still like that for my first year or two of college but then I started playing Rugby and making friends in college and I realized how much fun I had going out and having a good time. I liked parties but more importantly than party I liked bars and clubs. I turned 21 and I was finally old enough to go to any bar or club I wanted. Well I've run into a snag. I have one friend that likes going to clubs but not bars and then all my other friends from that "core" group are the same way they were in HS! I mean we're 21 and 22 years old here and nobody wants to do anything beyond play Halo or go to a movie. I mean jesus christ that's fun but sometimes I want to go dance or play poole and drink. Does anyone else have this problem? Loser friends that don't ever want to be social? Essentially they're all anti-social. I mean I want to go to a bar sometimes but then I have nobody to go with. I don't want to be that creepy guy sitting at the bar alone butting in on the conversations of others. I mean I know I could just make new friends but these are friends I've had for years and it's hard to make a really trustworthy friend these days. Anyone run into this problem? Is there anyway to make your friends social or make them go out?

Man my Bob Knight story got no-sold. Then again that was nothing compared to the usual Knight fare.

Well OU has a tremendous first half against Texas Tech and then proceeds to shoot 29% in the second half. But Texas Tech shot 22% in the first half so OU goes on to win the game 60-48. Big Bob Knight was hilarious in the post game press conference. Someone asks him "Coach what was the problem in the first half?" And he says something to the degree of "Well not knowing a whole hell of a lot about the situation I'd think that when you turn the ball over 12 times and go 5-21 from the field then that's a pretty big problem! Anymore questions!?" and he says this as he's walking out. Then we're all laughing about it and he comes back into the room and says "You know someone taught me the alphabet once and they didn't ever ask me if I knew it again! Think about that!" and then he stormed out.

Some recent ones for me: Good: For pure markout value Clint Ingram's INT against Oregon was probably one of my best in recent memory. OU's 2000 national champion. When Josh Heupel took his final knee everyone was on their feet. Vince Young running that last TD in. It was great to see USC be vanquished. Bad: OU losing to TCU. McNabb's INT to Roy Williams. My heart just fell out of my body. Vince Young running that last TD in. It was a double edged sword b/c now Texas had a national title and a more recent national title than OU.
