Yeah but it's not true b/c all we heard about was how Oregon was ready for this and wasn't going to let that happen. And then it happens.
-
On ESPN radio they started implying and saying that Oregon lost b/c they didn't want to be there and they didn't want to play OU. I was wondering how long until the excuses were formed by ESPN.

I think that Jackson actually likes OU. Everytime he's called an OU game(even when they sucked against UCLA and Texas) he was nothing but complimentary to them. He kept saying it was going to be a "paint swapper" when you play OU. I did enjoy the play calling though. It was a little bit vanilla but overall it was more balanced and less predictable than what Chuck Long usually runs. Didn't Leena say Oregon would win by 50?

I love how much he messed up Kejuan Jones name repeatedly. "Keshaun, Ke-hawn, Ke-john" it was pretty funny. He didn't really get biased towards the Pac tonight which was good. When UCLA played OU this year my buddy on the paper was in the press box and the PA announcer was calling a tackle by Chijoke Oynegecha and he went "Tackle made by *looks for #22's name* Umm...yeah"

In addition to what I said earlier I also liked the way OU dominated most of the second half. It makes me optimistic for the future. But once again that schedule next season is absurd. I also like Keith Jacksons banter. The guy is fucking funny with some of the adjectives he comes up with to describe things. And he sounds like a crazy old man sometimes.

Vince Young's practice jersey is black with burnt orange letters. It was pretty sweet looking. They need to break that bad boy out as a regular jersey.

I like the new O-Coordinators play calling. It provided some good balance and those young recievers are looking good. The defense looked really really good though. I'm optimistic about the future. OU is now 6-0 against Oregon BUT they have to go to Eugene next season. They have to play Texas. They have to go to A&M, OSU, and ISU. The schedule looks murderous. They had the #1 schedule this season and they might have a Top 5 schedule again next season. So they may be really good but I just think the schedule will catch up to them. What about Peterson cutting open his head on the celebration? That was retarded. The celebrations nearly killed OU the whole game! And Bomar at the end there? Stoops looked like he was going to murder Bomar.

Well Leaf went out like a Leaf....throwing an INT in San Diego. If Ingram doesn't make that INT though then Oregon scores and wins. If Young doesn't come back then OU definitely owns the Big XII. OU preseason Top 15 next year? They should end the season ranked where? Peterson finally started playing hard at the end of the game. He did his usual dragging of tacklers for a while there. I'm as happy as I can be right now over this. Of course OU would've iced it if Peterson hadn't fumbled on the goal line like a retard.

Holy shit OU did everything possible at the end of that game to give me a heart attack. I'm so fucking glad they actually won a bowl game now. It's been 2 years. The OU offense played much like it did all year. Good in spots and very bad in spots. Same with the defense. Dominating at times and then giving up huge plays. That interception by Clint Ingram was AWESOME. He's a senior too. What a way to finish your career. I'm sure that's how every senior wants to end it. On top winning the game.

Fuck I don't care if Texas loses the Rose Bowl if OU wins this game. It's been 2 years since OU had a bowl win. OU decided to embarass themselves at the beginning of the year rather than the end this year.
-
Yeah it sucked pretty bad in the first half. OU's offense appears to be rolling now though. Peterson is finally going. This would do a lot for the Big XII if OU could make the conference 3-1 and knock off a Top 10 team while they're at it. And as I type that Touchdown OU. 17-7.
-
Only giving Peterson 9 carries? That's absurd.
-
Oregon should be ok if Leaf doesn't re-enter the game. That was just a stupid play by Peterson and Bomar. OU is having trouble getting Peterson going. Bomar has more rushing yards than Peterson.
-
I thought the higher ranked team was always the home team.
-
And predictable. He's good when he's coaching a young QB but calling plays? Not so much. Imagine the talent OU had last year. Jason White, Adrian Peterson, Mark Clayton, Mark Bradley, and that O-Line. They should've put up 50 per game!
-
Oregon needs a yellow helmet with a green O.
-
Not with so many one loss teams out there. But I mean this current OU team would eat TCU alive and they should've beaten Texas Tech. And if Bomar didn't have so many exchange problems with the center and Peterson was healthy then OU would've probably beaten UCLA. So they could very well be 10-1 or 11-1 with this young team. The whole campus is excited that OU is going to rule next season. I think they'll still have trouble with Texas and A&M at A&M.

What was that shit they drank in Family Guy that made them vomit uncontrollably? I'd like some of that.
-
Oregon was favored by like 10 and it's come all the way down to 3. I can't remember who said it I think it was either Herbstreit or Holtz that pointed out that yeah Cal got mad and got beat but the reasone he doesn't think that will happen to Oregon is because of who they're playing. I mean Texas Tech's name doesn't inspire fear in anyone. But off of pure name value alone Oregon should be thinking "oh shit we're playing Oklahoma. this is big."
-
Generally the higher ranked team is the home team. I picked Oregon for our pick em' contest at the paper but the guy I'm fighting for first picked Oregon as well. I actually need Texas Tech and Georgia to win to take the contest at work.

My ugh after the Transplants was because I just can't get into them. I don't really like any of their songs. I do like songs by punk bands telling off the "by the book" punks that feel that everything has to be a certain way because it's "punk rock!". I had a friend that used to walk around and to everything he'd be like "that's not punk rock!" We were at a Dropkick Murphys show and he goes "look at all these nice cars in the parking lot! that's not punk rock!!" It's funny b/c the ones that are being told off by these songs are the ones that listen to it and declare said band one of their favorites.

Wrestlers sure do try to fight fans a lot. It'd be nice if one of the fans turned out to be some badass marine that opened a can on the wrestler.

Callahan's an idiot. If Michigan had won I was waiting for ESPN to declare Henne the player of the game, future of Michigan football, and a frontrunner for the Heisman. He really didn't play that bad of a game. He accounted for all 4 of Michigan's TDs. But Avant has got to be killing himself over that fumble.
-
This is why RPG's used to drive me crazy(until i got hardcore into them) because I felt the need to talk to EVERY person and go to EVERY place possible.

What was even worse was that Nebraska looked like they didn't even care that Michigan was rumbling down the field with that ball. If it wasn't for Bowman having a head on his shoulders they would have lost! Speaking of OU finishing strong(should've beaten Tech god damn you refs) they really do need AD in this game and I don't think anybody can deny that. I just wonder if he'll have a chance to make a big play. I mean against Nebraska he drug a defender into the endzone for about 5 yards, against Texas Tech he fucking HURLED a defender out of bounds when the defender came in to tackle him, and against OSU he had TD runs of 73 and 82 untouched. He needs to do something like that to even have a shot.
