Well Texas A&M is finally making it a game. Funny b/c if Texas has a close game it won't show "championship caliber" it'll show "they weren't that good anyway".

I have this douche-bag in my spanish class that has to have everything new. He bought an IPod. Then they came out with the 40GB one. He decided he had to have it. Then they came out with the mini and he bought it. Then he was talking in class the other day about how his IPod Nano was being delivered. I asked him why he needed so many IPods and he said that he refused to be seen with something old and out of date.

I'd take Bush if I was running the offense that USC is running. But if I wanted to line it up and go straight at them then I'd definitely have Peterson. Peterson's one of the best players in the country. There is no denying that. OU would be helpless this season without him. Fuck they were helpless when he was injured. They needed 2 OTs to beat Baylor!

Peterson has been injured. Peterson has not played much this season. Defenses key on Peterson because they know that Bomar cant' do shit to hurt them. Defense know that AD is the only weapon on OU's offense. Peterson rarely has blocking. They run vanilla running plays for Peterson where the defense knows where he's going. Compare to USC which is basically the opposite of everything I just said. That explains it right there. And look at Peterson's freshman year. It was amazing. If the dude hadn't been hurt he'd probably have well over 1500 yards this season. He nearly had 2000 his freshman year. You denying Peterson's ability and greatness as a running back is pure blindness and a refusal to admit that an OU player is good. When all is said and done he'll be the greatest player in OU history.

God dammit I've been saying that about LenDale White forever. Ask Porter. He knows I used to say it even before the season. Reggie's fast and has moves and he's probably faster than anyone else in college football...but there are people faster in the NFL and I think he'll get laid out more than a couple of times in his first few games. Something he's never experience in college. Hell Texas may lay him out. Wonder how he'll react? It'll be a new experience.

Well if you're going to deny that Peterson is a better proto-typical I-Formation running back then you're crazy. Yeah Bush is better at everything else but as a pure running back then Peterson is the best. And everyone knows this that has watched him play. Hell OU would be 3-7 right now without Adrian Peterson. And they probably would've lost a couple of games last year without his contributions(OSU, Texas).

So these problems will be fixed by the second and third wave right?

There isn't no maybe about that. Look at what he did to OU. Stoops and Carroll are the two best in the country. Too bad Stoops had to field a shitty overconfident team with no heart the only time they're likely to ever coach against each other.

How could they though? They have no defense to speak of and according to the stats I read on ESPN.com Texas has the best offense in the country.

I didn't know Vince Young only had 796 rushing yards and 8 rushing TD's. He has over 2000 passing yards and like 22 passing TDs though. I wonder if he'll make it to 1,000 rushing yards and 10 rushing TDs this season? He's going to have to play big to unseat Bush. Then again ESPN was waiting for any reason to fall on their knees to Bush. Granted Saturday's peformance was simply amazing but if he rushed for 100 yards and a TD and recieved for 50 yards and a TD then ESPN would fall on their knees and go "Reggie Bush is the greatest football player on the planet! Heisman! He's better than NFL players!" Yes they are actually saying that shit on ESPN now and saying that he's one of the top 3 players in the world including NFL players. Bullshit when you think about who all is in the NFL and the fact that Reggie Bush is doing this stuff against lesser talent. Then they had their poll on who you are thankful to be able to watch play sports and it was all the ESPN darlings of course(Vick, Bush, Bonds, Lebron, Tiger). And that's another thing. Yeah Reggie Bush is amazing and if I was running USC's offense I'd want him in the backfield. But if I needed a pure running back and we were lining up in the I-formation then I'd take Adiran Peterson in a hearbeat over Bush. AD is probably the best pure running back in the country and he's likely to win the Heisman next year or his senior year.

I love this show but I know that I cannot stand Michelle Rodriguez and her "I'm a hard-ass tough bitch dont' fuck with me" attitude she has in EVERYTHING she's in.

The Lone Star Showdown is today and it's Vince Young's second to last chance to make a Heisman impression. With the way A&M's defense plays he should have a 400-500 total yard day.

That reminds me b/c an OU fan called in to the radio the other day and was like "Well Stoops better get his act together or he's gone after this season! And I won't miss him! He's ruined the team!" I mean what the fuck is that all about?

He's playing the "well if so and so beat so and so" game. Which means that if MSU beat ND and USC could barely beat ND then MSU and USC would go to 6 OT's before a winner would be decided in this titanic struggle.

Does Duke pull that same thing that the Lakers and Jordan did? When they get a foul they call the ref over and argue like "We're Duke! You can't call us!"

Would anyone else mind seeing Gonzaga win it all? I think it'd be kind of cool and out of the ordinary.

Where did JR Giddens transfer to? Kansas and Oklahoma State are really young this year while Oklahoma and Texas are seasoned. The Big XII landscape will be different this season.
