Texas at the end of last year was probably better than OU at the end of last year. Hell we were very close to having a Texas/OU title game! USC played close with UCLA and if they had won and Auburn had lost to Tennessee then it was possible that OU and Texas would've played against each other. That would've been weird. Wilbon just said it. The rankings and national titles are not lifetime achievement awards. If we were going off of what you did since like 2000 then USC, OU, and Miami would be 1, 2, and 3.

This is all based off of this year. This is an annual thing. We're not going over the era. Maybe if we were looking for the best team since 2000 in ever poll then yeah USC would be #1. Ah who am I fooling. Even I can't argue to justify this. But don't use the rankings as an era thing. It should be based off this year.

Well I guess I should go hang myself b/c Porter said too. Look it's not as frustrating as being a fan of WSU like Iggy is saying. But it is still frustrating at this point and you have to admit it. Yeah there were good years but the team has been killed in the last two national title games after dominating their conference and now they're just plain sucking this year with a young team but it's still a talented team. So yeah it's frustrating. No it's not as frustrating as having a losing team of course or as having a team that always underachieves but it is still very frustrating at this point. Understand now guys? Plus it annoys me to no end that they killed AD.

You guys think that your teams are frustrating? Try being an OU fan over the past 5 years.

The recruiting class that is supposed to be leading this team has either all quit because they didn't like sitting behind the seniors that dominated the past 2 years or they were kicked off the team for being punks. The coaching staff doesn't blow. They're just used to dealing with the experienced talent OU has had. Bob Stoops is certainly not a bad coach. But Chuck Long is not a good o-coordinator and the defense lost a lot when Mike Stoops left.

You guys act shocked about Baylor hanging with OU. I mean it's obvious OU sucks. I heard the people on TV trying to rationalize it by saying "OU's only lost to Top 25 teams this year!" Yeah well if you watch their other games you can tell they're mediocre. I wouldn't go all out and call OU outright horrible but they're painfully middle of the road and average leaning towards bad. They'll make a bowl. It might be at 6-5 or 7-4 though! They should beat A&M and OSU but will have trouble with Nebraska and Tech(who will win comfortably). But Baylor is better this year. But still.....that shouldn't happen. Oh and OSU is the worst team in the Big XII this year. They'll probably go 0-8 in conference. Wow.....Vince Young and Matt Leinart have each others phone numbers and they talk on the phone. Weird. It's almost as weird as Leinart and White being good buddies and hugging each other all warmly during the Heisman ceremony.

OU this year=teh suck~! Anyway I don't think VATech will leap Texas. Texas is closer to USC in the rankings than VATech is to Texas and Georgia is dangerously close to VATech. What rank did GA start the season at? They were saying LSU is the team that came the from the farthest back in the opening BCS to win the National Title. What did OU start at in the BCS in 2000?

Ok i think that Hester's return against Temple and the one that was called back were better than Bush's run just now. And on top of that the run was more UW incompetence than Bush being awesome.

Baylor's never beaten OU. Then again until this year UCLA had never beaten OU. Young has been intercepted twice already.

So Texas/Texas Tech at 230. I really want to watch it but I'm supposed to be at the OU game at 4. I told my friends to save me a seat b/c if the game is close then I'll be watching it and be late to the OU game. But if Texas is blowing them out I'll be at the OU game on time. I dunno. There's just something cool about him. And I don't fault him for going to Miami. I mean hell if I was a star football player OU wouldn't be my automatic choice even if I was from Oklahoma. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At the time he went to Miami, OU wasn't exactly known as a pass-happy offense. Yeah I'll agree. I'd think as bad as OU is is pretty shocking but Michigan wasn't supposed to lose this many games.
