The Bears are for real!!!! Cotton Bowl bound! Anyway I think Oklahoma State might be the worst team in the Big XII. Those guys suck. I know I'd lose my job if I did it but I just want to go to Bob Stoops and say "What the hell is your problem? Did you forget how to coach football?"

Well Tech beat them last time they played in Austin. But you're probably right. And USC's only got a 14-7 lead at the half on Arizona. I suppose they're just going to "flip the switch" again right?

Because Tommy Grady doesn't play at OU anymore...... Hey they may have beaten us bad but in 2000 and 2003 we beat them by over 50 both times. So as embarassing as this was we've embarassed them worse in our 5 game winning streak. Lucky to make the Independence Bowl? Well the rest of the Big XII isn't that good. What does OU have left? Kansas at Arrowhead? Baylor at home? Tech on the road(yeah that's a loss)? OSU(the worst team in the Big XII) at home? Nebraska on the road?(good D but no O)A&M(a bad team as well) at home? They should by all means go 7-4 and finish 3rd in the Big XII. They're going to a bowl. They won't have a losing season. But they do have one more loss waiting for them in Lubbock.

And Texas Tech is blowing Nebraska out 21-0. I don't think Nebraska's offense is good enough to catch up with the lead they've spotted the Red Raiders. I think that people are sleeping on Tech. I've already got the shitty OU pegged as losing to them and they may take Texas as well.

Well Texas snaps the 5 game winning streak by winning 45-12. I don't want to downplay the win but it's not like they beat the Josh Heupel/Nate Hybl/Jason White Sooners that tore ass through the Big XII and beat the hell out of Texas for 5 years. They beat up on a weakened OU team with a shitty QB. But still a good win against a bitter rival. Now I hope Bomar figures out how to play football soon.

Yeah I'd be angry if I didn't already guess that OU was going to get stomped. I tried to tell these kids in my class that and they were just like "No way! Peterson is going to run wild!" "Guys he's injured." "So! Texas sucks! And Reggie Smith is going to pick Vince Young off and take it all the way back!" "What the hell are you talking about? The kid has one interception against KSU and you guys think he's going to go wild?" "Man where's your school pride!?" "Where's your brain!?" Well I'm for one am sorry for acting like that in regards to OU over the past few years. I didn't realize how irritating it was. I'm sorry.

He didn't lobby though. He just said one thing after a game. Something I think any coach in that position would do. Is it at all wrong that I am wishing injury on Rhett Bomar? I mean yeah he's the QB for my team but I don't want to watch him stumble and bumble and under-throw wobbly passes the rest of the season. I also would like the secondary to figure out how to cover someone! God damn it's frustrating to watch. And hey no AD.....I guess Stoops lied about the ankle feeling fine going into this game. So is Texas proud they broke the 5 year losing streak or disappointed it was against the shittiest OU team in 6 years?

So is Rhett Bomar just not a good passer or is it because he's young and facing a good defense? I'm going with a little from column A and a little from column B.

When Vince freaking Young is dialing up the passing yards and TDs on you then you know your secondary is in trouble. And on top of that.....Bomar still can't pass against a halfway competent defense.

No I stayed home and I have friends here. God damn that was a bad call. So the phantom pass interference turns into 3.

Well the White Sox have the 2nd longest WS drought. But that sucks that the Red Sox were eliminated. Now I can root for the Yankees to lose....but if they do....then I'm left with nothing! I guess I can just enjoy the baseball without being hampered by an allegiance to either team...

Damn Red Sox pitching....if they SOMEHOW come back and win this series they won't make it very far. I hope they address this in the offseason.

Reggie Ball threw the ball 53 times in this game. I hate it when QB's throw that much. It tires them out and results in costly mistakes. I believe when they were setting up for that last drive they mentioned that GT was running it's 90th play. Good god.

They didn't have the lead. It was 17-14 NCState at that point.

I don't have ESPN Classic so I missed it..... I'm going to settle in at Buffalo Wild Wings on Saturday though and get myself a beer, a big plate of nachos, and some chicken strips and enjoy the game.

I heard this thing on ESPNews today that basically said if the RRS was close towards the end of the game that OU will win b/c Texas will think "oh god not again!" and start making mental mistakes.

Dude what is it with all you people trying to draw me into going crazy? It's like you complain about me but then try to say as many things as possible to make me go over the edge. Sheesh. Anyway if OU wins I probably won't have much to say b/c I'll be in a state of utter shock. Although OU's confidence is really riding high after the KSU game. They'll do what they usually do to Vince Young. Shut down the running game and force him to throw. Unfortunately Ohio State showed us that that plan of action doesn't exactly work anymore. If OU wins then Mack Brown has to admit that Bob Stoops has his number. If Texas wins then it's kind of bittersweet. Yeah they finally beat OU but it was their best team in years beating OU's worst team in years. I just know I'm going to get a prime spot at the bar on Saturday and enjoy what hopefully will be a better game than it has been in recent years.
