Yay. OU is off so they won't embarass themselves this week. *remembers Bomar and the MIP and Peterson and class* Dammit......

Yeah well they've finished in the Top 5 for 5 years in a row. People are spoiled. Yeah before Stoops got here they won 3 games ever year. It was awful.

I think when they play big names like Shaq, Lebron, Kobe, and such then they will draw. But I don't forsee many asses in the seats for a barn burner with the Hawks.

Anything will help this team at this point. They're going to be under .500 going into the middle of October for god's sake. Think about it. IF(and i said if) they beat Kansas State then they'll be 2-2. Well the next week is Texas and with the way the Longhorns are playing and the way Bob Stoops is coaching with his head up his ass I give them no shot to win. Which mean's they'll be 2-3. Sad. The next week they go back up to 3-3 hopefully by playing Kansas but the next week they have a game at Nebraska they could lose easily so they' be 3-4! People down here are abandoning the team. Which is sad. I'm sticking with them of course but I'm just being realistic about who they are. I'm still rooting for them but I know what the problems are. Rather than just tough it out and accept the problems though most fans are going "OU sucks. I hate them. I don't want to watch them until they're good again." Bitches! I watched every minute of the Orange Bowl, the TCU game, and the UCLA game. Tough it out. Anyway that being said I wonder how the rest of the country feels about being able to beat up on the Sooners? I mean does it give them a sense of satisfaction or is it like "oh well we only got revenge when the bastards sucked." I mean which would you rather have? A blowout win over this Sooner team now.....or a close win over the Josh Heupel or Jason White lead Sooners?

Any other year besides the past 3 and the Big XII would compare. It's just been down lately. Though I don't think Tech gets enough credit. Hey they could sneak up and win this conference.

I think Stoops has become complacent. He coasted over the last few seasons lost the big games and probably thought "I won my previous 3 bowl games and a national title. I'll bounce back." However he's not bouncing back and the fire left the team with Mike Stoops. Hopefully the 6-5 season they're having will light a fire under his ass! Either that or he'll slowly slip into oblivion and be fired after a 2-10 season.

Just ouch. First time in 89 weeks that OU isn't ranked and for good reason! I'm not even sold on the fact that we can beat bottom tier teams in the Big XII. And a bowl? I don't even know if that'll happen!

Hey this'll be the first time in a long time that OU's b-ball team is better than the football team! I've been hearing pre-season Top 10 projections for OU but I never trust the baskeball program.

OU right now is reminding me of the Stonecutter episode of the Simpsons. Where Mr. Burns is lower than Lenny and Lenny kicks him around and burns crawls off saying "Climb the ladder Monty." That's right. We've pushed everyone around and now it's time for us to bend over and take what's coming to us......climb the ladder boys. This might be good for this team in the long run. I'm HOPING that getting pushed around will piss them off and make them better and make them not want to suffer defeat like this again. THEN AGAIN I said that after the KSU loss, the LSU loss, and the USC loss and they seemed each time to come out like they didn't care.

It's funny that you bring this all up and throw it in my face like I was spouting it last week. I said it before the season ever started! Did you not look at Bored's contest? I picked UCLA. After the first two games I knew they were a bad team and they were going to have trouble with UCLA. I thought they might still win but I didn't think a maiming of any kind would go down. So I really don't understand your logic b/c this was all said before the season when I thought OU was still going to be good. They've been good for 6 years so I didn't see it coming that they would suck. So yeah.....your attempt at a burn baffles me when looking at it logically.

Wow this MSU/ND game is crazy. Even though OU sucks this season I think I'm really enjoying this college football season thus far. Some good shit going on out there. Yes 2GOLD they beat the program OU. But they really didn't beat the OU that has terrorized the Big XII for the past 5 years. They beat a shell of OU. But it was a good win. Yes. The thing was at least we saw some flashes of brilliance from Bomar. Apparently when you let the kid use his legs he can do some good stuff. So I have hope for him to turn into a solid QB. And hey he's just a redshirt freshman! Actually most of this team are freshmen and sophomores. So they have the talent there to build and be good again. Unfortunately it's jsut going to follow a cycle. They're so loaded with young players that they're going to get really good and then lose them all again and have a repeat of this again! Oh and turnovers! Guys hold onto the fucking football! I'm still trying to figure out OU's record this season. They're 1-2 now. We can pretty much call Texas a loss. And I'm not to sold they can even beat KSU in 2 weeks! We know how purple is to OU. It's like kryptonite. Also the first time in 6 years that OU will not be ranked. Yikes. The crazy thing is that they can still win the Big XII! But yeah that's not going to happen. So does anyone think that if OU finishes 6-5 or with a losing record that Stoops will lose his job?

I don't understand the officials going nuts about UCLA beating OU like they just dominated the OU that has terrorized the Big XII for the past 5 years. I think the jerseys should say "Oklahoma Lite" for the rest of the season.

I'm ok. At least it'll give me something good to write about this week. Bob Stoops had better fucking figure this team out though and learn how to use them and what to do to win. I mean it's not like he's in danger of losing his job but if this shit continues there will be some heat on him. But how about UCLA? I mean granted OU isn't that good(i wouldn't say they totally suck but they aren't good) but they're playing good. Does this make everyone think they have a better shot of knocking USC off? And man what's OU's record going to be this season? I mean they're 68-13 over the past 6 years......a 6-5 season just seems unthinkable but it looks like a reality! That's just crazy.

The problems with OU are frustrating. It's not a lack of talent. They have all the talent in the world. The problem is that the bullheaded coaches thought that they had the same team that they did last year and trained them all spring and summer to run the exact same offense that they ran last season. Then they get out their running Jason White and Mark Clayton's offense and go "OH SHIT! We don't have a big play QB or reciever! What do we do?" And they sit around with their mouthes hanging open trying to figure out how to fit these kids into White's offense. Either that or an Alien that doesn't know football has taken over Bob Stoops.
