My dad tried to say that tOSU gave the game away and Texas didn't win it. He said the fumble was tOSU giving them the game. I mean I think the fumble was Texas forcing it. So you should credit Texas. I mean it's not like he just dropped the ball or fumbled the snap. Texas did strip it.

I thought it was good.......but yeah a lot of the stunts at me going "whatever". But I love anything Statham is in.

I'm not positive Notre Dame is a Top 10 team......aren't we jumping the gun just a bit on them?

How about some short passes. I noticed OU really didn't do any of those. They kept trying to go downfield. The one screen they threw to Peterson picked up a good chunk of yards! In 2000 Josh Heupel didn't have the best offensive line in the country but he kept dumping it off short and it worked! I'm going to kick Chuck Long's ass.

Yeah if they try that strategy in their next two games(UCLA and K-State) then Peterson WON'T even play against Texas b/c he'll be in a body bag.

I don't know about that. Overall Texas still loves Mack Brown b/c while he can't beat OU he still wins 10 games a year. I seem to remember someone said in the last college football thread "If Texas can't beat OU this year then Mack Brown is truly incompetent." And I think after today's performance by OU that's more apparent than ever. Bob Stoops will definitely work to earn his pay this year. Oh and they had this funny moment on the radio earlier. This character they have that appears on the radio every now and then said "If I was Bomar I would've been slinging brews back after that game last week too! I would've realized I was going to be running for my life all year!"

God damn come on Iowa. OU didn't throw a pass in the 2nd half! God damn! We HAVE to find a passing game or we this will be our only victory of the year! Damn. I see that Chuck Long sat in the booth and went "Well I wonder what happens if I just keep feeding AD the ball." If OU didn't have AD they'd be 0-2 right now. No doubt about that. Adrian Peterson IS Oklahoma right now. It appears Peterson is going to have to pick the entire team up on his back and carry it to the finish line......he'll be dead before Texas. We have hope for the future but this season is going to be tough to watch after the high ride we've been on for the past 5 years. Oh and does anyone else doubt how important Jason White was to this team anymore? He needs to petition for a 20th year of eligibility.

From ESPN's previews: Pity poor Tulsa. All week long the Sooners have heard they're not very good nor very tough. Unfortunately for Tulsa, it's the one who is going to pay for that. To steal a phrase from Mike it seems that everyone thinks OU will lay a "righteous ass tanning" on Tulsa. I mean I think they'll win(then again i thought they'd beat TCU by 17 points) but I don't know if it'll be this huge squash that everyone seems to think it'll be. I don't know if that offensive line can lay a beating on anything.

Well I figured the Patriots would win but I didn't think it would be this close.

OU is supposed to be good or something........whatever. They always choke it in basketball. At least we have 7 national football titles but we have no basketball titles.

Man if OU goes 8-3 this year the Big XII may be damaged for a long time. OU has basically been carrying the damn conference on it's back for the past 5 years. Sure we don't always win the conference but we're usually the team that is leagues ahead of everyone else like USC is in the Pac 10. If we go down and Texas doesn't step up then the whole conference is going down. Oh and tonight OSU plays the fearsome Florida Atlantic Owls. After OSU struggled against Division 1-AA Montana State I don't hold much hope for them.
