Wow some crazy theories flying around out there. I'm just pissed b/c they didn't really explain anything at all....they just keep creating more questions. I just have a feeling that they've built it so much that whatever answers come in the end will disappoint.

I just hit my brakes and that usually backs them off. What I hate is when you're going like 10 over and you have an empty lane next to you but some asshole going 30 over flies up on your bumper and refuses to go around. Another thing I hate is that when you see people pull off the most dumbass and inconsiderate and illegal driving maneuvers there isn't a cop in sight. But when you go 5 over the whole police force is bearing down on you like it's a high speed chase.

I have a stack of stikcers that say: "thanks for taking up two parking spots, you inconsiderate, rude fucking asshole" and they have that same adhesive the police use on cars that need to be towed, the kind you can't simply peel off...I've put them on choice spots on other vehicles numerous times... Where did you acquire these? Anyways I hate people that have to be "the man" and want to draw everyone into a hug cockfight. Like the other night I'm talking on the phone with an ex who I remain friends with and she's at this dude's house with a bunch of her girlfriends. He takes the phone from her and starts talking shit. "What you talking to her for motherfucker? You want some shit!? Where you at?" "I'm at the Phillips 66 on 104th and May. Let me talk to Christin." "You want a piece of me motherfucker? You want me to come up there and kick your ass? Bitch!" And I just kept blowing him off and not threatening him back or giving into his bullshit. And finally the fact I'm blowing him off drives him crazy and he just explodes. "You ignoring me motherfucker!? YOU IGNORING ME!? YOU DON'T WANT A PIECE OF ME? I'LL GIVE YOU A PIECE MOTHERFUCKER! FUCKING BRING IT ON! BRING THIS SHIT ON!" "Whatever." "WHAT DID YOU SAY MOTHERFUCKER!? I'M GOING TO WHIP YOUR ASS!" It just pisses those dudes off if you don't fall into the macho cockfight. I was at a pool hall the other night and I saw this guy walk up to another guy with his arms out to his side going "What? What motherfucker?" and the dude he was doing it to just punched him right in the face. And he was like "Ow! Why'd you do that?" I guess the rule is you're supposed to chest bump too and not hit him when he walks up like that.

how about when people park their cars in such a way that they basically take up two spaces? Road construction in general annoys me, and everytime you see workers out there, they are on a lunch break. If I was a bigger asshole I'd key those Camaro's and Corvette's that park like that. Or throw a rock through the window. Anyways I hate people that stare. You walk through wal-mart or something and they're like "by god young man! Must be trouble!" and they just stare at you. And if you look up they look away and try to act like nothing happened.

What really bugs me are people that can't be honest and can't tell you the truth. Like people that think if they ignore a problem it'll go away. Or people that have a problem with you and they won't be honest and fess up to it. They just treat you like complete shit or ignore you rather than just coming out and being honest. I hate shady people and so many people I deal with are shady. I also hate people that ignore you b/c they decide they don't like you on first sight. An example: I was covering the Big 12 baseball tournament. It was at the ballpark in Oklahoma City. I was in the press box this morning before the OU/Nebraska game and there were some Nebraska coaches and SID's in the catering area. Well the Texas Tech/Nebraska game ran really late. And I didn't know why it had run late the night before b/c I went home(my job is to only cover OU games so i left after it was over). Well I went up to one of the SID's and I looked him straight in the eye and said "Why did that game last night run late?" He looked back at me and then walked off. Not a word to me. I turned to another guy and said "Why did that game last night run so late?" he ignored me so I got closer and spoke louder and he finally looked up and answered me. He said "Oh it got started late and Tech had a big inning that took a while." and now why was that so fucking hard for someone to say in the first place? I know I'm rude but I'm not half as rude as most people i deal with.

Yeah well I still haven't seen enough from Phoenix to think they can win this series. They're getting beat on their home floor. What if the Spurs go home and suddenly lock down on D? Then what chance to the Suns have? Dammit I want that Pistons/Spurs final.

Anyways I'm saying that the way people discuss "you wouldn't have won if this didn't happen!" like the teams accomplishment is suddenly lessened b/c they did that. Well that's what winning is all about. Making the big plays when needed. You say the thing about him hitting the 3's as if that fact lessened the Spurs accomplishment in winning. Ok I was wrong about them being blow-outs. There are you happy? I'll admit I was wrong. Of course on this board it seems that everyone ignores you admitting you were wrong and still hammers at you for being wrong.

The Spurs were the #1 defensive team over the year. If they didn't know how to play defense the Suns would be going off right now. They do enough to keep the Suns from winning. That simple. They are a better team than the Suns. Nash and Amare have fun and score a bunch but they pretty much keep the rest of the team from doing much of anything. The Suns lost both of their home games. They are going back to San Antonio. And do the Spurs not have like the best home record in the league? I know the Suns have a great road record but what shot do they really have with the Spurs playing the way they are? I'm pretty sure the close loss in the last game is 10x more frustrating for the Suns than a 30 point loss.

The Spurs scored 40 points in the 4th quarter. That game was pretty much over when they got on in that quarter. The difference was 2 Brent Barry wide open 3's? The difference in a lot of games is one player making a shot. I never understood that argument. "Well if he didn't do this then you wouldn't have won!" Well no shit. That's why they won. And you know what? He did it! So why discuss it? "If Peyton Manning didn't throw those 4 TD's then the Colts would not have won this game! So don't be telling me that it wasn't close!" And the fact that he was wide open is a showing of how shitty the Suns defense is. They can try to outscore San Antonio but it's not going to happen obviously when they can't hold San Antonio at all.

Extremely close? This game was close but Game 1 was an ass whipping once the 4th quarter started.

I kind of figured they would give it to Miami. Nobody seems to give the Pistons credit like ever and think they can easily be handled by these flashy offensive teams but I mean this is what happened in the Finals. The Pistons are a very very good basketball team and hopefully the majority will buy it after they win the title or at least give San Antonio a run.

I don't think that the Pistons are incapable of scoring 100. I think they just never have to because they hold the other teams down so much. How many times have the Pistons scored 100 this season in non-overtime games?

How do you not find a defensive slugfest like that entertaining? I mean it's great when they're blocking shots and banging each other around in there. You act like they're all going to move at a snails pace and do nothing.

The basketball gods have demanded the talent of Detroit vs. San Antonio.....and it shall be.

So the other thread is players that didn't live up to the hype and weren't great. But what players were hyped and lived up to it? For me personally it's Adrian Peterson. Around here last summer he was being hyped as the second coming of jesus. People said he was going to be an immediate impact player on OU's offense and that he was going to have a great season. I was skeptical that he would be that good at all and I thought he might be over-hyped. Then he showed up and well you all know how his season went and he finished 2nd in Heisman voting as a Freshman. So yeah he lived up to his hype. So who else in sports history has?

I actually think it would be one of the best as the talent level on both teams is off the charts and the skill being exhibited on the court would be amazing.

Charles is a bad man. Anyways I know personally I'd love to see the Spurs and Pistons play. Just because I love the Pistons starting 5 and the Spurs are nothing but hard workers. The defensive battle would be crazy and low scoring at times but I think they can pick the tempo up. I think the problem the Suns run into with the Spurs is not being able to run as much as they want to. I think the Spurs may trap them in the half court more than they'd like. But Nash can create his own shots so who knows. We know Ginobli will take it to the hoop and if he gets the Suns into foul trouble they could be fucked with nobody to plug in. What is Joe Johnsons status?

What? You think there's no black people in Kansas? I don't remember the book specifying what race she was. What the hell difference does it make? They probably hired Ashanti because she could sing well and act a little (she's been in a lot of stuff), and was probably the biggest star they could get to be in it. I'm just talking about when they remake old movies they go back and feel they HAVE to cast minorities in pivotal roles just to appease some civil rights agenda that in the end IMO makes everyone seem less equal. I mean if I was a struggling black actor I would want to be cast off talent and hard work rather than the color of my skin. And unfortunately that's how a lot of actors are getting cast.
