24-21 is hardly a beatdown. And McNabb is a good QB. He had a bad game. He has many other good ones to go with that. Hell he can probably come back and throw for 300 and 3 TD's no INTs next year and you'd downplay him. New England is a good team but Philly was in a position to win that game. As a matter of fact everyone New England has faced in The Super Bowl was in a position to beat them and soon(probably next year) that team will finally finish them off. McNabb is the right man to run the ship in Philly.

They could have easily won had they managed the clock better because then they wouldn't have had to make a 95 yard drive with no time left. They managed the clock poorly on the previous TD drive. Had they managed better they would have had more time to string together a drive. And I still say the Eagles will be back next year. They have all the tools to do it and another year of experience.

Yeah Freddie was writing checks that his ass can't cash but at least TO stepped up to the plate and proved that he wasn't all talk.
-
Todd Pinkston actually had a great game. I was shocked. It's been an hour and I still feel like I'm going to kill somebody.....I'm the only Eagles fan I know on my staff.....tomorrow will be hell but *proudly puts on McNabb jersey and Eagles hat* I shall weather the abuse.
-
Yeah that was what really pissed me off. They could've easily won that game. I'm sitting here screaming at my TV trying to get them to get out of the huddle and on the line of scrimmage. It just looked like they were dicking around out there. I sure hope Andy Reid runs Donovan through this on the off-season.
-
TO proved the naysayers wrong thank god. I'll be hoping for a Super Bowl win next year and every season from now on. But damn this hurts. I hope the Patriots aren't back. Or The Eagles add some more key components and come back and whip the shit out of the Pats next season. That'd be nice.
-
Football never goes my way......ever. About the only thing I got going my way was Cal losing in the Holiday bowl. Everything else.....no chance. Though I think the Eagles will be right back next season and hopefully the fucking Patriots won't be anywhere near the title game. They can't keep it up for much longer........can they!? CAN THEY!?

Get your priorities straight. Well once again I'm puzzled as to how the NFL is #1. It does hurt worst. At least in that game OU had no shot of winning after about 10 minutes. This game wasn't over until the end. I was so optimistic they were going to come back. I'm still proud of them for making it here and then fighting hard and not letting the Pats walk on them like was predicted. BUT GOD DAMMIT! So the Patriots win 3 superbowls by 3? Sheesh.
-
GOD DAMMIT! At least it wasn't the blow out everyone predicted but god dammit this is dissapointing. I'm optimistic for next season but fuck this is going to take some time to get over. This stings more than OU losing to USC. God dammit. DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN!

I've decided that OU is just about the most inconsistent basketball team I've seen. God we're going to get killed in Stillwater on Monday. But hey at least we're still going to make the tourney. Possibly make it to the Sweet 16 or even Elite 8 if we play like we did against OSU, Texas, and UConn.
-
OU loses at home to Texas Tech. So let me get this straight. We beat up on OSU, UConn, and Texas at home but lose to Iowa State and Texas Tech? I just don't get it. But Texas got their asses whipped at home by ISU. And I laughed..and laughed hard. I hate Klotz and Buckman so much.

It's not about not giving the Eagles any credit. Its about the fact that the Eagles are playing a team that finished 14-2, and just beat two of the dominant teams in the NFL, rather easily. I think the Eagles have a good chance, and I hope they win. But any rational analysis is going to see the Patriots as the better team. Yeah Merill Hodge gave some real rational analysis.....
-
I'm barely seeing anyone at all picking The Eagles. Jason White is now dead to me forever as I saw him picking the Patriots on the College Football All-Star challenge.....grrrrr....... This game is just prime for an upset though. Nobody has given the Eagles any credit and it's just ripe for them to pull the shocker.

Why is everyone bitching about who should and shouldn't be in this game? You have left it up to a fan vote and I gurantee you about 85% of the people that voted on this don't follow the NBA as closely as people on this board. And if they do they still probably play favorites. It's a huge popularity contest so you should expect to see only the big names.
-
Man Merril Hodge is a moron. I just saw him on NFL Live saying that by the 4th quarter the Patriots will be so far ahead we'll have lost count.

Emmitt had an emotional press conference and then Skip Bayliss decided to suggest he wasn't genuine and that he was just acting. Then he tried to undermine the end of Emmitt's career.

Well it's National Signing Day. Who's going to sign who? Who is your team going to come away with? Last I checked Tennessee had the best recruiting class thus far. Does anyone have the Top recruiting classes? Anyways what do you guys think about the incoming freshmen?
-
Well OU had a little bit of trouble with A&M at home b/c A&M figured out how to take Kevin Bookout away. Luckily Taj Gray decided to go nuts and The Sooners protect home court yet again. I'm optimistic now about when Kansas comes to town.
-
I guess nobody knows what is really going on or it just changes like every hour.
-
The Top 3 changes again with USC moving to 1 then FSU then OU. These of course will probably flop around some more.

Oh and that Sanchez kid is a perfect successor to Leinart.....they have the same hair. It's the source of Leinart's power.
-
Yeah, but Periloouoiloououzouzouoiou9uxxxxioioxu detractors may be right, the feeling is that the kid is coming out of high school a prima donna, like, moreso than normal. I don't particularly buy into it, but whatever. Rhett Bomar supposedly had a really prima donna attitude. He felt he should walk into OU and start over Jason White, Paul Thompson, and Tommy Grady. Yeah sure...Jason White had a terrible bowl game but his season was still good enough to get him 3rd in Heisman balloting. And guess what Rhett? You get to sit another year and watch Paul Thompson lead the team. And then you can fight it out with Tommy Grady the next year. Not to mention that my friend on the softball team heard him on the weights talking about how he was better than all of OU's QBs. I really don't want this kid as QB b/c I already don't like his attitude. Yeah the Sooners(like any other top team) are supposed to have a swagger. They aren't supposed to be cocky. USC has a swagger and confidence about them. But I don't feel any cockiness from them. He needs to learn some humility. *puts on black outfit and grabs a baseball bat* I may not be posting for a while after I get done at his house.
-
Aren't fans at UT saying "Well he wasn't that good anyways. We didn't really want him!" ??? At least that's what I heard on the radio.
-
Then again USC might as well be ranked high b/c they're basically just loading up for future seasons and not next season since they have basically the whole national championship team back. USC is in the perfect position to let these guys learn from veterans and get used to being on campus and being on a major team. Hell I wish my team were in their position. But we're currently rebuilding an entire team and coming off 2 embarassing title losses in a row.

It's now being reported on ESPN Sportscenter and Rivals.com that OU has the #1 recruiting class. *dances* Anyways here's the Top 25 as of now according to Rivals. 1) OU 2) Tennessee 3) USC 4) Nebraska 5) Florida State 6) Michigan 7) Miami 8) Georgia 9) Texas A&M 10) Iowa 11) Ohio State 12) Auburn 13) California 14) Florida 15) Virginia Tech 16) Arizona 17) Alabama 18) Maryland 19) Clemson 20) Virginia 21) Texas 22) South Carolina 23) Arkansas 24) LSU 25) UCLA USC has the most 5-star recruits with 4 and OU has 2. But the reason OU goes to #1 over USC and Tenn is that OU has 14 4-star recruits and 10 3-star commits. Meanwhile Tenn has 1 5-star, 16 4-star, and 9 3-star. Also USC has 4 5-star, 9 4-star, 5 3-star. I noticed Arizona in the Top 25. Mike Stoops is doing what he needs to apparently. Meanwhile the Callahan hire that most(including me) lambasted may be paying off as he's recruiting like mad.
