I mean after evaluating it so far it looks like Kansas is going to run away with the conference with OU, OSU, and Texas following in that order. OSU though.....what a dissapointment I think they are. They're nowhere near as good as they were last year. Oh well maybe they'll get hot. OU's still hot right now IMO. I mean I think that you will definitely experience letdown after going through Texas and OSU like they did.

Brison But does being exiled make your life a living hell? I mean I love this board b/c I can get so much info from it and that's why I wanted to be unbanned. But I mean if I was banned finally it wouldn't really make much difference in my life. It's not like they can exile you from the internet. He was using hyperbole dumbass. Well being away can always do funny things to a team. Not to mention Ames is a tough place to win. I mean I think OU is still alright. They've won like 17 of 19 and were riding a 10 game win streak. I still think they'll protect home court and get a 4 seed.

I do read. I probably read more than anyone I know. I read magazines, newspapers, books, comic books, and pretty much anything. I was always the kid that when the teacher said "Ok you get a free day to talk" pulled a book out of his bag and read it. In 8th grade though we were still doing grammar. I didn't start lit until the 9th grade. Oh and Czech yeah I read Of Mice and Men my Junior year. I forgot about that one.....and I don't know why I forgot because I loved that book.

Nope. I have never been made to read Grapes of Wrath. My junior year? Hmm.....they made me read: Huck Finn, The Great Gatsby, The Crucible, The Scarlet Letter, and Heart of Darkness. Senior year I read: Beowulf, Wuthering Heights(my fav book ever), Lord of the Flies, Crime and Punishment......and I think that was it. Funny b/c my Senior year I was in Advanced Placement English and I think I did less reading than any other year.

Was everyone hailing Jordan as the "next past star" or Montana as the "next past star"???? This was before the game was ever played when OU was favored. Don't be starting bullshit when I just made a simple comment. She just doesn't like football as much as basketball. But it's still weird because everyone at this school is crazy about football and everyone would've killed for those tickets. But she thinks the Spurs will win the title this year as well.....her opinion isn't exactly fair because she thinks they'll win it every year but she's written stuff for Sports Illustrated, The Dallas Morning News, the big paper in San Antonio, and so on so I trust her insight just a bit.

I watched the Spurs/Kings game tonight at a bar with a girl on my staff that's from San Antonio.......she's crazy. She's a crazy Spurs fan. Just to give you an idea of how into the Spurs she is. She goes to OU. The same school that dropped everything for the Orange Bowl. She had tickets to the Orange Bowl and SOLD THEM because she got a ticket to a regular season Spurs game! She said that she's planned dates around Spurs games before. So of course she was nearly on her feet yelling at the TV anytime anything remotelly didn't go right. I don't care if Duncan just dribbled the ball wrong she let him know about it.

Basically nobody knew about it. They never said anything on the news or on the radio or anything. I think it was just announced at the arena and that was it. But we do have streets named after Garth Brooks and Toby Keith. Everytime I drive on them they make me feel dirty........ Yeah I know a lot of people from here that move to California. California tops the list of places in the US I would never live. And then Arkansas comes after that. And so on.....

I kind of like the red colored jerseys. I like Louisville's colors too. I mean I know they aren't changing the red but the red pants and just plain red jersey are kind of cool.

So does this mean they'll win more than 6 games? I mean with a new logo you have to do good.....right?
