Speaking of that GT is the team I really really don't want OU to run into in the tourney. They have a 7 footer that can bang around with Gray and Bookout and they have great outside shooting so they can stay away from Gray and Bookout when they're on defense.

Well that may be true but I don't really think it was. Going into the tourney with the St. Joe's and Stanford getting knocked off OSU was basically the #1 team in the country if they were still doing polls. And I know the polls don't mean much but I felt OSU deserved a 1 seed over Kentucky, who I believe was the other one seed. But the game against GA Tech was a bungle by OSU. They were up by 1 and they put John Lucas on Jack. Lucas had not been able to guard anyone all night. If they'd put Witherspoon on him they probably wouldn't have had any trouble. The move Jack used to get to the basket wasn't all that impressive and Witherspoon could've handled it but Lucas couldn't. I don't think they would've gotten embarassed by UConn as bad as GT but then again I don't think they would've beaten UConn as I don't think anybody could've. I dunno I don't forsee a Final Four for OSU. Hell OU may be able to make that if they get hotter and I would've said Kansas a month ago but I mean they've been playing such shitty ball lately. I don't know. Someone from the Big XII will be in the Final Four. Seems there always is.

Well cabbage Eddie Sutton has never advanced past the Final Four even though his team last year was probably the best one he's had and probably was the #2 best in the country. OU hasn't had a real great shooting performance in any of these games that they've won against big ranked teams. And that worries me b/c I know someone will find a way to neutralize Bookout and Gray.

Well yeah they can be. OSU is going to have to pull out a zone in Stillwater. Unfortunately Eddie Sutton hates that zone and tries to stay away from it at all times. But I mean I trust Eddie's coaching ability more than I do Sampson's. And some may say "How can you say that about your own team?" well I'm just being realistic.

Well it's my school that is developing a small bandwagon. Basically I thought they were going to be good but not this good. I was expecting a better season than last season but they've surpassed all expectations and I am really really suprised. I'm very proud of how my team is playing and I'm hoping they can keep this momentum up. Like I said before though they haven't really been tested on the road. They were basically ambushed by Baylor but then they came back and beat the hell out of A&M who was riding a wave of momentum by beating Texas at home the week before. So I am suprised that my team is currently sitting at #1 in the Big XII with Kansas as both are undefeated in conference play. Hell I think we may even be able to win the Big XII regular season if we can stay this hot. Bookout and Gray are huge and it's going to take a great outside shooting team or someone with just as many big bodies to really get them hard. I think we can take one in Stillwater or Austin. Oh and Drew Lavender is listed at 5'7" but I stood behind him waiting to cross the street the other day but I swear he's like 5'5" instead.

I got a call from someone with the Pistons today. Apparently one of their coaches named Gar Heard played at OU from 66-70 and they had no photo's or footage of him and they were giving us a call to see if we had any pictures of him we could send over. It was kind of weird talking to someone from The Detroit Pistons.....

I want a dynasty that I don't hate. But at least I know if the Patriots are dominant I can ignore football and concentrate on things like, I dunno, school. You mean there are things that are more important than sports?

Well A&M did beat Texas at home and OU destroyed them. But then again A&M sucked last year so maybe they were just one of those teams on a hot streak and not actually that great. I dunno. The tests will be in Austin and Stillwater. I might've said going to Ames to play ISU was a test but ISU is just falling a part. And going to Columbia isn't tough either anymore.

I may have to retract my last statement about OSU being just as good as they were last year. At the beginning of the season they were hot but lately.....it's just been ugly. They got beat up by Texas on the road, a game they won last year and yes OU is improved but I didn't think they were improved THAT much. OSU has to find some answers before the tourney. Now I'm feeling great about OU's chances. I think they can win all of their other conference games except for the trips to Stillwater and Austin. Hell they may be able to take one of those though. Bookout and Gray are a very dangerous combination and make OU's inside game very difficult to handle. I mean Gray is like 6'10" and Bookout is 6'8" and both weigh in the 250-260 range. They just get in there and bang around. You're basically going to need a 7 footer to handle them.

McNabb just doesn't throw picks anymore. It just doesn't happen, the man has finally learned how to be poised and confident (the game vs. the Steelers being the exception.) Exactly. I don't think he'll crack in this game at all. He'll stay cool and calm and get the job done.

If he plays, he won't play any good, so it isn't an issue as far as I'm concerned. He'll be a decoy at best. Remember when Moss was injured earlier in the year and did jack shit when he played? Something like that. The problem with the decoy that I'm having is that it'll only work for about a quarter or so and then he'll just be filling up a slot for a healthy reciever. But who knows maybe they'll put up some points in that time. Freddie Mitchell has really stepped up to the plate and I trust him.

Wow........OU beat up on OSU in Norman tonight. I didn't want to believe it after the embarassment that was last season but maybe my team is for real.

Well The Panthers were pretty much given no chance against The Pats either and made it a great game. And don't say that last years Panthers was better than this years Eagles team b/c that BS. The Eagles are a lot better than they're given credit for and it will be a good game. If anything Philly's D is what can keep this game close and keep the thing from getting out of hand. I doubt someone is just going to show up and put up 50 on that kind of defense.

Hey realworlds at my school there is nowhere to park on campus at the time I get to school. So I just park at Lloyd Noble and ride a bus to school. Well I'm sitting there in my McNabb jersey and an Eagles hat and this guy in a Tom Brady jersey sits down on the bus beside me. He looks at me and laughs and we start talking and then he's like "I actually think the Eagles will win!" trying to be polite so I come back with "Really? So do I." And then the gloves were off. The entire bus ride to class was a heated exchange. So wait until you run into someone in a Pats jersey.

Well Pinkston has been playing better in these last 2 games. But he wasn't really being pressed. We all know the Patriots secondary will be physical. So hopefully the Eagles recievers will decide to get physical with them. McNabb has to be flawless. Because with the defenses involved I'm having a feeling that one mistake is totally going to swing everthing in this game. One pick 6 and the game could be over. I don't think McNabb will lose his cool though at all. I mean if he's sacked like once or twice or picked once I don't think he'll say "here we go again!" and shut down like I've heard he will do in the NFC Title game. He's going to be cool the entire game. And that will be one of the biggest assetts for the Eagles.

Well for me personally the one that alway stands in my mind is during the Sugar Bowl last year when they broke the huddle at 4th and 10 with a chance to tie and the seconds winding down. I just remember from my local radio...... "They break the huddle and come to the line. 4th and 10 could this be the National title on the line? White in the shotgun hikes the ball and..........HE'S SACKED! HE IS SACKED!" And of course my favorite call of all time is "HAVLICEK STOLE THE BALL! HAVLICEK STOLE THE BALL!"

Tom Brady gets way to much time in the pocket in all of his games. If the Eagles can be in his face the entire game then they can possibly throw him off. I know the guy usually doesn't crack under pressure but we've seen that he makes dumb mistakes when things aren't going his way IE the INT agains the Dolphins while he was falling down. Jim Johnson we all know likes to blitz. So if he can keep everyone in Brady's face the entire game then they can throw off the Pats offensive rhythm. As for Corey Dillon, well Trotter will have to handle him when he comes up the middle like he was Dunn yesterday. Now as for the Eagles offense, they are playing one of the best defenses they'll see. They need to keep pressure off of McNabb and probably run some screens and draws because I figure the Pats secondary will press all of the recievers knowing they have trouble when someone is in their face. If they can get those guys to come in then they can possibly create a big pass play downfield.

Just like Oklahoma? Oklahoma was favored going into the Orange Bowl. X It shows your predictions are terrible. Umm......yes they were. By the morning of the game they were a 1 point favorite because everyone was betting on them. So don't give me that X bullshit b/c I'm right. Anyways I'm still pissed I have to wait 2 weeks for this shit. Sunday comes around and I see no reason why there shouldn't be a Super Bowl now. It also feels weird with it in Febuary. Felt that way last year too. And on top of that the Eagles really aren't getting any credit. The Eagles are better than The Colts and with the way Pittsburgh was playing The Eagles were better than them. The Pats won't cake walk if they win. IF they win.

Hey at least the Steelers can be optimistic about their future and QB situation......
