I was responding to everyone saying they were one dimensional b/c apparently they got it done being just one dimensional. No, because you're being a fucking asshole. I hope the mods let everyone have free reign on you if Oklahoma loses. What I was talking about didn't have shit to do with Texas/Michigan. I was pointing out that he had no clue about Vince Young and you come charging into the thread with more of your gloating and trying to rub everyone's face in the fact that you happened to be right once. You guys were saying Texas was one-dimensional like it was bad. But obviously it wasn't that bad b/c they only lost 1 game this year! They got the job done this season having a one dimensional attack. And everyone jumps on me and tells me I'm wrong all season long. They tell me my conference sucks and my team isn't as good as they're ranked and I just generally get shit on for my football allegiances b/c this board is anti-Big XII. Then I finally get proven right after all the shit I've gotten from you all season and you can't handle it.

I think Vince Young could be an NFL running back. He's certainly fast enough and has the ability make people miss. Cedric Benson was pretty much a non-factor tonight though. Poor guy.

Well you know I was rooting for them to make the Big XII look better. In bowl season I'm for every Big XII team. But during conference play they can all take a backseat to the Sooners for all I care. However Texas did make me a little worried about what may happen in the Red River Shootout next year.

Well the guys on ABC's pre-game show and the guys on College Gameday seem to think OU is as they put it "to physical" for USC and will win handidly. So you aren't getting jinxed that bad. I think it evens itself out.

Does it really matter if they were balanced? They won the god damn game and proved they deserved to be in the Rose Bowl. And their unbalanced attack still made Michigan's defense look silly. If Michigan didn't have an offense to speak of and the Texas D wasn't playing like shit(though Edwards was all Edwards and not bad D) then Michigan would've been throughougly embarassed.

And those 3 teams are obviously better than a lot of confernces in the country as they've run through the top teams from the Pac 10 and Big Ten. And now OU gets a chance to beat THE top team in the country. So I'd say they're doing pretty good. No way. SC will win by at least 10. I'm not allowed to comment on that till Tuesday. But I will come Tuesday.

Fact is that the 4th and 5th best teams in the conference got beaten by ranked opponents. The 2nd and 3rd best teams beat highly ranked media darlings and poor little media darling Cal got fucking embarassed by "lowly" Texas Tech. Big XII isn't overrated obviously and they proved it. End of story. My God...there's going to be three more days of this, isn't there? You just burned through all your goodwill you earned in the CE folder in about twenty minutes. I kept hearing all week how Texas was going to blow Michigan out, and I beleived it. After seeing the Rose Bowl, Michigan should have won. If not for Vince Young, Texas would be on the level of a Colorado, or K-State. Yes and then Texas Tech beat the #4 team in the country that everyone says should've been in this game. And they still only won by 1 point? Oh shut the hell up. It isn't as if Michigan is some terrible team that Texas should have rolled by 30. It was two very evenly matched teams that played THE game of the year...why nitpick? Because everyone said Texas didn't deserve this game and was going to get rolled. Texas won and so everyone has to find a way to cover.

Actually everyone on the board says the Big XII is overrated. And that's the second time an "outsider" Big XII team has marched into the Rose Bowl and marched out with a victory. Texas didn't dominate like OU did but for the love of god they put on a show. Vince Young....I didn't know he had it in him! I think the announcers were just resisting the Michael Vick comparisons.
