And for the record no I don't ever hear it at school b/c I go to college at OU and I don't usually listen to other people. I asked a simple question about what musical genre OutKast was in and I get about 20 people jumping down my throat giving me shit about being from Oklahoma, about not keeping up with current slang. I've never fucking heard throwback in my life. I usually here people say retro when referring to that stuff. So no I had never heard OutKast b/c I don't watch MTV and I don't listen to the radio. I had heard plenty of people talk about them when I was in High School but like I said...I usually just hung out with my friends and didn't pay attention to anyone else...and none of my friends are into that kind of music! Then I heard "Hey Ya" and liked it. And guess where I heard it!? Not on the radio and not on MTV but at the Sugar Bowl. I liked the song. I finally searched for and saw the video. Now how is it an ignorant thing to not listen to the radio and not watch MTV and not pay attention to what the other people at school are saying? How is it ignorant to do my own thing and listen to my own music??? How? Once again.....I knew who the fuck they were but I had never heard them. People talked about them like they were a hardcore rap act. I heard "Hey Ya" and it didn't sound like that to me. So I wanted to know what kind of music they played. Good god........I don't know how this exploded like this. You guys immediately went into ignorant assumptions about me and where I live. Then you tried to flamebait me over and over again. And for the last god damn time. I know who OutKast is. Yes the post title could've been worded better but I wasn't asking "What's an Outkast!? HYUCK!" I was asking "What Musical Genre is OutKast considered?" Some people.......

WHAT!? I don't believe I was saying anything about rap sucking. I think I was saying that I hate a lot of the artist that I heard and I unfairly judged the whole genre. Now I went back and gave it a chance and liked some of the artist. How you equate that to me saying Rap sucks is beyond me.

The dialogue was crappy? I got news for you. So was the dialogue in the original trilogy. And the acting wasn't exactly top notch either. The story and just the overall feel is what makes us all watch it. The only thing I didn't like about Star Wars Episode I was them trying to explain the Jedi in a scientific manner.......metachlorins or something. I hated that.

You pull out a gun and say "If any of you little bastards move I'll blow your fucking head off" I would make a joke, but want to offened you Dama. Actually that's closer to what my dad did. Some people loved him b/c if he got a class with any of my friends they could do whatever they wanted. But if he didn't know anyone he acted like a hardass. He even cussed out a student who was giving him shit one time. But the Principal loved him and the kid was a big time troublemaker so he didn't get into trouble. Or there was the time that he thought that the class had first lunch but they had second so he finished lunch and showed up and all of the kids were like "Dude where have you been!?" Actually......it's best that he doesn't teach anymore........

You'll love it...you have my word. *wipes tear away* I went and saw it with my friends. One is 20 and one is 18. I'm 19 for the record. Then the 18 year old brought dad's girlfriend's son who is 12. Well I automatically knew he wouldn't like it. Well he hated it. Thought it was boring. I thought it was just an age thing. But my other 2 friends thought it was boring as well. I however was in love with the movie and loving every second of what I saw. Bravo. *claps*

For the record, I didn't say you would hate Outkast just because they are hip-hop, just that you didn't generally like the genre they're in. Of course, looking back on it, I have no clue why the hell I said that, but whatever... heh. Putting that aside, enough of the baiting already. That goes for everyone involved. Because I've gone into insane rants about how I hate all rap based off of listening to stuff like Ja-Rule and 50 Cent. Which I do hate. But I gave the rest of the genre a chance and liked some of it.
