They could've made a game of it. But I don't think they would've won It'd be like a big guy laying on the ground getting pounded on and then going "Wait I'm bigger than this twerp!" and tossing him off. The K-State game was OU walking up to someone sitting down and bitch slapping him and the guy standing up and turning out to be 5 feet taller than OU.

Oh and BPS please tell me who you think OU can beat. B/c it seems you don't think they can beat anyone. So who can they beat?

I still think the K-State game was an aberration. It was OU coming in thinking that they had the game in the bag and K-State thinking "Let's kick some ass!" and OU got surprised and knocked on their ass for it. However the LSU game was just OU getting beaten by a better team.

Yes but if it had happened during the season in place of oh say.....Fresno State then Bowling Green would've been smoked. Because OU was stomping on everything in it's path. It's becoming apparent that the only OU you've seen is the KSU game(which they sucked in) and the LSU game(where the LSU defense shut down OU's offense) because otherwise you'd realize what a good team they are. But as it is you seem to think they can't beat anyone without some kind of luck.

They also didn't have Ell Roberson at the time. Kansas State probably would've followed a similar vein as OU...hell maybe even have gone undefeated if they'd had him all year. And yes I think OU is going to walk all over Bowling Green with ease. Of course they will... 90% of the BG offense just graduated They probably would've walked all over them this year as well. Let's not forget OU walking all over everything in site during the season. Yes they got beat up on by Kansas State(at Top 10 team) and they got beat by LSU(not beat up on) the best team in the country. But let's face it......BG isn't in the same league as LSU and KSU.

Alabama(ok they gave OU a run for their money), Fresno State? UCLA? Aside from Alabama they walked all over the non-conference opponents. I just think it'd be awesome if a team scheduled some more challenging non-conference opponents. Then you really think they earned it all season. That'd be cool. No more of these cupcakes! Tennessee and Miami scheduled each other the last two years. That's what I'm talking about! Competition!

I'm almost positive that the Top 3 from this year(LSU, USC, OU) would trounce those teams.

I thought they weren't. I thought that the Conference was set in stone. Hell I was looking on OU's website and they have the conference schedule all the way up to 2008.

I just don't think it can be done without enough build and planning. First of all you have to sell the tickets, get the stadium ready, notify the teams and let them have time to practice. Plus they'd have to get out of class for a week to participate...the 2nd week of class at that. If these 2 teams want a piece of one another so badly then they should schedule them as a non-conference opponent next year. Hell I think LSU and Oklahoma should do it. It'd be good to have a rematch early in the season.

Ok funny thing. Trent Smith is on the sports animal ALL the time. He's best friends with the host stemming from when Trent played at OU during there National Title season. Many of you probably know Trent as the Tight End for the Ravens that went down with an injury. Well anyways he's on the Sports Animal anywhere from 2-3 times a week. Well all of these idiots call in screaming about how White should've been taken out of the game and how he's the worst QB OU's ever had and talking about how OU sucks and about how Stoops should be fired just absolutely dissapeared when Trent Smith was on today. Not one person wanted to argue with him. As soon as he left the show.......the idiots returned.
