I can't play the game on any other difficulty yet! I just learned how to play the damn game!

Oh god...I just set about 100,000 records. 8 sacks with one player. A lot of QB passes 250 yards rushing and a bunch of TD's with my RB. And I scored 105 points.

Hmmm.......my Sooners are in the top 10. But I've compared the way they play to other Top ranked teams....no real comparison. They look lost to me compared to the top 5 teams. So.....I don't expect them to go far. Ah well.....

Oklahoma sucks. It was like 70 degrees on Friday. Today? It's below freezing.

I've never played the game before. So I put it on Junior Varsity so I could learn the game. I'll up the difficulty after I know what the hell I'm doing. If you've played Madden, you've played NCAA. Except... You can like, do more shit in NCAA than you can in Madden. Speaking of NCAA, I need to rent the game again. I MUST KICK SOME OU ASS!!! ...sigh, it'll probably be like last time through, second place, but BCS puts me against #15 because my schedule is classified as easy, even though I've only had 1 defeat (against some #5 ranked team [think it was USC, somehow got them] though and I lost in Quad OT). But I haven't played Madden. I've played ESPN football.

Also I heard a lot of people calling in today to my local radio station dumping on OU and saying that they were pissed and that this team should be ashamed of themselves and that they were ashamed to be a Sooner fan. First of all those people are idiots. Second of all think of this morons(the people on the radio that is). 5 years ago OU was one of the worst teams in the country. Nobody even wanted to go watch them play football. They could barely sell 50% of the home tickets. Bob Stoops came in and turned that program around. They've gone 2-1 on Big XII championships, 1-1 on National Championships, and 2-1 on non-championship bowl games.......all since 1999! That's a very impressive turn around! I mean they won a National Title in 2000...Stoops 2nd year on the job! And also even if they don't win the national title you can gurantee that they will be in a bowl game for the next 10 years at least. Hell they'll probably be in a BCS bowl for the next 10 years(provided the system lasts that long)! So Sooner fans ask yourself this............do you want a team that made it to the National Title and didn't quite make it but still went down as the #3 team this year? Or do you want a team that doesn't even sniff a fucking bowl game and goes 2-10 on the season?

Yeah LSU didn't get one first down in the second half. So yeah...the defense held up very well. It was the offense that played like shit. I think that they would've beaten any other team in the BCS bowls. Yes even K-State. That game is going to be an absolute barn burner next year. I can't believe it's not in Norman, I ain't going to Kansas to watch it. But yeah if Stoops follows his pattern he started this year of humiliating teams that beat him the previous year(A&M and OU) then KSU will have a long saturday next season. But anyways yes the OU defense played like OU's defense in that second half. The offense played like.....well a shitty team. If you came from another planet and saw only this game you'd think "Wow that team has a great defense. They'd really be something special if they had a good offense. What!? This is for the national title!? How'd they make it this far with that offense!?" And I'd have to answer with "No clue. The offense is usually better than this." Then again Stoops admitted that LSU is the best defense he's played since taking over the reigns at OU. Oh and......Carrol said that he doesn't vote in the Coaches poll. He said "I'm glad I don't vote in that poll. I'd hate having to vote against my team." Carrol's a good guy.

Actually more than just OU fans were defending them being in that game. As a matter of fact I remember them saying on the national broadcast on ABC "Many people believe Oklahoma didn't belong here. Not the case as we learned here tonight." Besides the writer's still view them as something special. They still have them as #3 on the AP Poll. Many believed they'd drop to 4 or 5 but they stayed at 3 which many say is a testament to the respect that everyone does have for them. On top of all of that there are a lot of people now saying that they aren't even a Top 5 team. That they aren't a good team at all. Which is a crock of shit. They're still a tremendous team. They just aren't as good as LSU or USC. But they could've beaten Michigan and Ohio State and even Miami. I gurantee that. Think about this. LSU's offense did not get ONE SINGLE first down in the second half. Not one. That's what OU's defense can do when they're on. If the offense had been their then I gurantee they would've won that game. But the offense went out their and played some shitty ass football. That's why they lost. Their defense played like fucking monsters in the second half. Anyways....yes Oklahoma belonged in that game. But they proved why they aren't the national champions in that game.

The Coach is going to come out in an LSU jersey and diss JR. JR's going to jump into the ring in his Sooner's jersey and defend their honor against The Coach. Then Lawler's going to come down and help him dispatch of the Coach and then WHAM! he knocks out JR and rips off his jacket to reveal a USC jersey! Heel turn!

Heh, I remember that. IIRC, it was because a few losers who didn't get in took the whole thing too seriously and whined that not enough strangers on the internet liked them. So this time, let's shoot for no whiny losers desperately seeking the validation of strangers online. *desperately seeks for validation for strangers online* Ah-ha. Well it's really not plausible. They don't really have time to prepare nor do they have a stadium, people with time to go, or anything. If this was something that was decided on at the beginning of the season then yeah...it'd be fine. But it's not...and like it's been said...you can't change the rules halfway through. Plus this system isn't plausible. Would it have been fair for Oklahoma in 2000, Miami in 2001, and Ohio State in 2002 to play another game? No.

Also....just a thought. I think that with the way OU was playing in that first half last night that they would've gotten whooped up on by any of the top 10 teams. Anyone agree with that? Or do you think that LSU and USC would be the only 2 to really pound them?
