Not really. I think it just lends more credence to the argument that K-State's victory was a fluke and that OU wasn't playing like they should have been. Based off the rest of the season that is. The main thing it does is show that K-State wasn't as good as everyone thought they were, making OU's loss to them harder to defend. Yes but looking at OU's season bitch slapping teams that were better than K-State makes the win look like more of a fluke than anything. And K-State is back in this game. And as the commentators said "Gentleman, we finally have ourselves a bowl game."

But just looking at it OU still played better teams. Read what HarleyQuinn posted. They played the same number of ranked teams as LSU and both have the same 2-1 record. Meanwhile USC only played 1 ranked team. Hmm......sounds like OU and LSU had a tougher schedule than USC. Not to mention OU won there games more impressively than both of the other teams. And OU was playing tougher teams than USC but were still winning better.....hmm........ And USC didn't even have to play a conference title. They got there's by virtue of having the best record. If the Big XII didn't make you earn it by winning a title game then OU would've won one to. Plus OU and LSU played 1 more game than USC. Hmm........I'd say we have the correct national title game.

If you don't think OU belongs then you are more ignorant than I thought. OU had the best season out of all 3 teams. Yes they lost in there last game and they lost pretty badly. But everyone else lost to. Oklahoma had the toughest schedule and played the best football out of all 3 teams. Oklahoma's players won the most awards because they were the best players in the country. If you think OU doesn't belong then you really are biased. You guys are hopeless. Yes all 3 teams lost, the difference is USC and LSU won their conferences. It is simply unfathomable to me that a team(Oklahoma) can NOT win their own conference title, yet win the National Title. USC played a VERY tough schedule in a Pac-10 conference that is proving how good it really is this bowl season (California beating Va Tech, Washington State beating Texas). I would contest that overall, Oklahoma played the weakest schedule of the 3 teams. Second of all.. fuck individual awards. Everyone knows that Derrick Strait and Tommie Harris didn't deserve the awards they got, and a lot of people will tell you Jason White didn't deserve the Heisman. And that's not OU-Hate, it's just the fact that Larry Fitzgerald is a better player. First of all OU had the toughest schedule out of the 3. Second of all they posted better numbers and played better football than the other 2 teams as HarleyQuinn pointed out in another thread.

Wow........good research. There really isn't a way you can deny OU is one of the best in the country looking at that track record.

I dunno. This game is really fun but I guess for me at least it has a steep learning curve. I mean it's kind of hard to look at everything and pull off some of the moves in time on this game. I mean to know when to Juke and Spin and to be able to execute it at the right time. And then to lead the passer with the ball.....I haven't even been able to do that yet.

Jesus K-State......drop the kickoff return. Play some god damned football or you're going to get walked all over. As it was you were probably the favorite for the Big XII championship next year. But if you lose this game and OU wins the National Title you will fall again. Play like you can K-State.

There is no statistical evidence that OU sucks! The statistics back them up as being one of the best teams in the country! And the "they didn't play anybody good argument" is crap b/c they had the highest strength of schedule out of everyone. So no there is no statistical evidence that OU sucks. About the only reason you can think OU sucks is if you: A) Blindly hate them B) Have only seen the K-State game and think that is an indication of how they really play.

I don't know...out of the 4 ranked team games they played, they went 2-2. However they only lost by 4 in both games(vs Texas and Oklahoma State) while just trouncing Nebraska(38-9) and Oklahoma(35-7) so if they won those 2 games that they lost by 4, they could've easily been 13-1. Odds are it probably was a fluke but I wouldn't completely write them out. Well it's just looking at the way OU played there entire season and then watching the way they played in that game it just doesn't fit together. That's why I keep thinking it was a fluke. They didn't play like they normally do. Then again Snyder knows OU like they're his own team and he's been getting closer and closer to beating them every year so it was basically a matter of time before they beat OU. Hey I've accepted that LSU and USC are on equal footing with OU. However there are a lot of people on here(see: Anklelock and BPS) that seem to think OU sucks for some odd odd reason. They're basing it all off one game and basically forgetting the rest of the season. And ANKLELOCK can't even give a good reason for why he thinks OU sucks aside from....."Umm.....they lost that one game.....and they got beat badly! What? There was a rest of the season? That they dominated!? Please! They suck! They got beat!" See......he has no logic in his hate aside from trying to flamebait me.

Ummm.......what? They beat them in one game. Ok I'll use your logic. Cal>USC. Because they beat them in that one game. So they're obviously better than them. Well K-State stalls on their first drive. Well then again they didn't get a first down on their first drive against OU and we saw how that went.

And I want just ONE thing explained. Yes OU lost that game to K-State. Yes OU lost that game very badly. But I want to know HOW some of you can act like they are the worst team ever and totally forget there season. You act like that game against K-State was the way they played ALL season. But it wasn't. So HOW can you sit there and act like OU is a shitty team that can do nothing against a good team? How? They've proven throughout there entire season that they are a good team. Yet some of you act like they just went without a win this season.

Yeah, pal, well I don't see how you can lose to ANYONE by FOUR TOUCHDOWNS and still be considered No. 1 in the country. But that's just me. Well seems how OU lost in a game to a very good team that has almost had there number every time they've played and USC lost to an unranked team that by all means shouldn't have been able to hold there jock......hmmmm........... Plus OU did go undefeated in their season. If there conference ran like USC's they wouldn't have had to play that game and would've won their conference. But you know...they want you to earn it by beating the second best team in the conference rather than just handing it to you.
