What no brawl!?

Damn Michigan State is making a comeback! Come on Nebraska! They only need 2 TD's to tie your ass! They can do it in 7 minutes!
-
I may be a Linebacker. I wonder if over the next few months I worked my ass off(which I am) and got really strong and became built like a house, became super agile, and then worked on and got freaky speed if I'd be able to go in only having average football skills and get put on the team anyways because of potential they see in me? Maybe they'll be like "This guy is strong, fast, and agile...he hasn't played football before but he has some average skills. He's very teachable. We'll teach him." That could happen. They could red shirt me and teach me for that season. Or stick me on 3rd string and be like "Learn" or hell even stick me on the prep squad and tell me to learn. They may see potential. That's why I have to get in super shape. Which I am. I am getting a physical assessment at my gym. Then they want me to tell them what my goal is and I'm telling them I want to be a football player(which is one of the people they work with) and then they'll give me a personalized workout to get me in shape. I love this gym.

I was just wondering if anyone ever missed the boat or there chance to play in a major sport? You know...you quit or you didn't ever have the fair shake? I'll tell you my story. Since I was a kid I wanted to play football. My family never had the monetary means to get me into the Pee-Wee games. So I got to Junior High. I joined the team. I practiced all summer then the fees came....and my parents couldn't pay them. I couldn't play football. High School rolled around. My Junior year my parents finally had the money. Only problem was that I had a job and was to busy with school and work to play football. Plus I'd never actually gotten to play...so I didn't have the experience to run out on the field and play in High School. Now I'm in College. I still wish I could play football. But college sports is an elite thing...if you don't have the experience you can't play. I've always been big enough and I've always been asked if I was a Defensive Lineman. But I have to say no. Now I wish I could play more than anything. But nobody walks onto a top ranked college football team, especially a national championship caliber team like OU and even makes the practice squad. I guess I could always go down to the park with about 10 friends and play a few games but you know....it's just not the same. So.....did anyone else miss there chance? I've just watched Rudy and it reminded me of my own football woes and how much I wish I could still play. Anyone else missed the boat in ANY sport? Anyone just wanted to get out there and give it a go? But your chance is gone?

That's it. This game is getting out of hand. I'm predicting a full team brawl after this.

Damn come on Nebraska. As an OU fan...I should hate Nebraska. But I am pulling for all the Big XII teams. That'd be nice if every Big XII team that was in a bowl game won it.

Damn when I was a delivery driver I never got nude people answering the door. I got girls in Bikini's but that was it.

Great show. Wow.....it feels good to have my first big PPV match. I mean I had the Pyro match but this is my first match with a top star. Awesome...
-
Ok I'm having a Dama/Crystal/Northstar promo to set up our next match.

Different styles of action/superhero movies for different people, I suppose. Personally, I'm just the opposite; X2 over Hulk. I can't comment on Daredevil, though; haven't seen it. Is it good, in your opinion? I think DareDevil was better than X-2. X-2 was good on first viewing but it bored the hell out of me the second time I watched it. I also thought DD was good. It was way too quick though. The whole movie seems to happen in the span of about 3 days. Which is much too fast for the story being told. Better than X2? No way. X2 is pretty much the best Marvel movie out there at this point. That's your opinion. I think The Hulk is the best Marvel movie out there at this point.

Flutie's a good QB. I'm just mad that he was such a waste of talent. In his day he was better than Manning. But they had to piss him away on the bench. And I don't think Manning is the best QB in College Football. Jason White's better and I think Miami of Ohio's QB is better.

What makes this stuff so different than when you're sober? Because well it was like I was still sober. And oh yes I know I did inhale. *dama still doesn't understand getting stoned*
-
From my vast world of knowledge, I can confirm that nothing is as fun when you are sober. *raises hand* I actually think everything is funner when I'm sober.

Do Meltzer, Keller, Scherer, etc. have day jobs?

He is ugly, but hey....who am I to judge? But then again there are some girls that are like "Look at that body! I don't care what your face looks like!" Just like there are some guys like that to girls...... -
I don't understand the people who are saying "this movie was boring! the story sucked!" I'm sorry but I think you're insane. I found this and DareDevil to be so much more enjoyable than the Spider Man and X-Men movies. I watched X-2 again and it was kind of boring.

Ah go Nebraska...then I can quit tieing with CanadianChris. I think I went for all of the Big XII teams.
-
Eli Manning? Boo....I like Doug Flutie. Such a waste of talent.......*shakes head* Flutie?! And forego Manning? Flutie is what, 40+ years old? Chargers aren't going anywhere with Flutie even if Flutie was in his prime. I still think Flutie's better than Eli Manning....

Rice was a god. And the fact that he worked with Joe Montana and Steve Young didn't hurt him to much either. And back in his day there seemed to be so many godlike QB's around. It seemed just about every team had one that went down as an all time great. These days...a couple.

Yes i'm so happy I just pissed myself.......or maybe that's my weak bladder....one of the two.

Your sig is gigantic.......and probably illegal.

Oh god I played the Ohio State/Miami game on the NCAA classics...I won with Miami.
-
I was playing EA NCAA 2004 and I was going through the college classics mode looking at all the classic games in college football. And I was thinking. Has this year or do you think any remaining bowl games will produce an absolute classic? Or will every game played this year be overlooked in favor of the BCS controversy? Will we play EA NCAA 2005 and have a classic game between OU/K-State that says "Rewrite history...save the BCS!" So what games would you consider classic? Or even very, very, very, very good? Do you think anything will produce a classic? I think the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl will turn out to be classic. Why? Well USC/Michigan are both going to be playing hard. Michigan to show they belong and USC to win the National Title. It'll be a high scoring game. Then the Sugar Bowl....well let's face it.....OU and LSU are the same team. They both have a defense that's like a freaking brick wall. You need a very specific strategy to break through it(something K-State figured out). It's going to basically be Unstoppable force meets Immovable Object.

God I hated the Cowboys(still do) but I love Emmit Smith. I hope that the Cardinals drop him and he goes to a good team. I think Emmit can still pull out some good runs.
