Man.......I was watching bits and pieces of that game and I hear my dad yell "Damn you Michael Vick! Damn you!" I had to bust up laughing. How could 2 teams that were in the Super Bowl last year......not even make the playoffs this year?

I was wondering who everyones favorite used to be? I mean a sports star you loved that is now retired. Someone that maybe caught your imagination when you were a kid. So please........share in your past heroes and what they did for you. The only one I can really think of is Joe Montana. I remember being a kid and watching one of the 49ers/Bengals Super Bowls and seeing Montana up there. I remember thinking that he was really good. I didn't watch football because I was so young.....but I knew who Joe Montana was and what he was capable of. Nowadays I go back and look at videos of the Montana/Rice team. God they clicked so well it was absurd.

Then you obviously haven't seen Spanky or London doing what they can really do.

I don't know. Could it be that Miller is ten times more entertaning then all three of those goofs put together? *raises hand* I am more entertained by Spanky alone than by Miller.

You know listening to that video you'd think that Rice would become one of the cockiest players ever(see: Sanders, Deion) but he actually was pretty business like once he got going.

Damn I just read the schedule again. I gotta work during the Rose Bowl and the Cotton Bowl(2 games I want to see)......well........guess I'm going to have to try the old "Tape it and avoid the score at all costs" technique.

Nope, it's the exact same school. We used to be North Texas State University but the name was changed to University of North Texas some time or another. We still have one of the top ranked music programs in the nation, and I think our jazz program is is like the number one or two ranked program in the US or something like that. North Texas? The ones that lost to Memphis in the New Orleans Bowl? That North Texas? Is it wrong that I don't think of my school as a school.......but as a football team that happens to have a school named after them?

I'm going to the University of Oklahoma. OU. It's where I always wanted to go. However I was accepted to Oklahoma State University and The University of Texas(boo) before I was accepted to OU. But this is where I want to be.

I just want to give a HUGE ups to Northstar for writing my commentary into that match. I didn't think that we were doing the commentary so I didn't send any in and then I tune in and my original idea went on. So big ups to you Northstar. You wrote it better than I would've.

I'd have to go with Sean Astin....he just made Samwise such a lovable character. You could really feel it when he was up there. Although Viggo did do a wonderful job. And of course Orlando Bloom was able to pull off the cool factor for Legolas like nobody else.

And........has anyone ever made it to Minus World? Know anybody that has?
