Well not every conference has a championship. So why should it count for so much? Why should it penalize 3 conferences when the others don't have to worry about it?

Well until everyone has a conference championship don't get your panties in a twist b/c OU didn't win there conference. Because if they were a Pac-10 team....then they would've won the conference.

Well because I am doing commentary the whole time and I jump up from the booth to go screw Crystal out of the match or just to stop her from winning. That's the story I've got going here.

You seem to forget that White was really injured in his big game. He hurt his arm and his knee and wasn't even seeing straight. Sounds like pretty bad odds to fight back against. He should've been removed from the game...why he wasn't is beyond me because OU's 2nd string QB is pretty good.

Yet they still have a chance to be National Champs. And like it's been said. It will go down in the record books as OU being national champs. There won't be an asteriks next to there name....it will be OU. Or you know.....LSU.

It's a dual edged sword, though ... if two teams win their conference, the one that won a title game would most likely get extra accolades for doing so, and would thus get the nod over a team that didn't have to win a title game. Plus, OU got absolutely shelled in that game - if they'd lost by a lesser margin, it'd be easier to stomach them being in the title game. In my eyes, the best two teams in college football are USC and LSU, so those two teams should be playing for it all. Yes but what happens if OU wins the National Title? People are still going to be up on there ass and giving them shit for it. It's absurd. And they went undefeated through the season technically. If not every team has a conference championship then it shouldn't count towards anything. Unless every team has a conference title. Because if we are going by USC's standards to be conference champ....OU was the Big XII conference champ. But they have a game to decide it....unlike USC. I will never understand the "If you lose lately then you suck. But if you lose to a dead last team in your first game...it's ok......." What if the situation was flip flopped? Same scores, same games. But OU's loss to K-State was there first game of the season and USC's loss to Cal was there last game of the season. Oklahoma would still be #1 and USC would be the ones considered unworthy. See what I'm saying? It' bullshit. You have to look at the entire season.

I'm trying not to take it personally. But dammit it pisses me off. It makes me wonder if the rest of America feels that way. If I wear an OU hat to SoCal am I going to get lynched? It also pisses me off b/c the constant bashing diminishes their accomplishments to the general public and I guess sort of makes them less legitimate to the die hard sports fan. I mean what if someone were to turn on Sportscenter and hear all this BCS controversy. And then hear them demonizing OU for it. They'd think OU was at fault and be like "fuck those fucking redneck cowboys from Oklahoma." And another thing. Angelslayer said something about the media being on OU's ass since the Switzer days. Anythng specific there? Anyone care to shed some light?

That crossed my mind to. But that kind of crap happens all the time. That's why awards shows are stupid. Each award seems to contradict another award. Yeah but I don't see nearly as much venom directed at LSU or USC. Though I'm wondering if the situation was flip flopped and OU was left out if people would be all up on someone else's ass. But they've been against OU all season. And then when they finally lose the people explode and start the "HAHA! The big bully was toppled! FINALLY! HAHAHA! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!" I really don't understand the big bully comments and "the invincible giant has felt pain! DIE STOOPS! HAHAHA!" I almost expect an ESPN sportscaster to pull out an OU helmet and set it ablaze one of these days. I wonder if everyone hated Nebraska this much in 95........

Hmm.....see it was going to be her wrestling with me on commentary...and then me jumping her. Though we could do it the other way around....but that's not very sportsmen of the face. Then you'd have to sink into obscurity while we fight. Plus if you're looking for a match to show off your skills......I'm probably not the best person to face.

I watched White play. He was impressive as hell all season. Especially with his bum knee's. And OU had pretty much the same offense under Nate Hybl and he couldn't seem to get the ball to the endzone. Under Jason White they got it there constantly. And once again....the AP which you guys seem to swear by.....voted Jason White player of the year. And once again I wouldn't be so quick to defend OU if people weren't such assholes about them. I could post 50% of that much if they stuck me in there. Sure you could. See that's another thing. If one OU player does good it's like "He's only good because his team is good! I'm better than he is!" You could not do half of what Jason White does with that team. Once again.......Nate Hybl. Nate Hybl, who won the Cotton Bowl in 2001 against a very good Arkansas team after the previous team's national championship squad is gutted in a pretty big way by people leaving, and last year's humiliation of #4 Wazzou in the Rose Bowl. Point? The story of Oklahoma the last four seasons has been the defense being overpowering and waiting for the offense to finally develop the players to catch up. This year they did so. Once again, as you misconstrue any critique of any Sooner quality or player to mean that the person or team is the worst ever, Jason White is good, but he's not Heisman good. Yet when he wins it he will be Heisman good. Because the voters obviously feel that he is the best. But of course with the way people only pay attention to recent events and not the whole thing then Manning will probably get it despite White having a better season overall.

White was also hurt and near a concussion in that game. Think about that. He even admits to not remembering much about the second half.

Whoever faces Crystal shouldn't really bank on it being to about them. Sorry but it's really just a facade to have a huge Dama/Crystal confrontation. So basically we need someone that doesn't mind having a match and then being DQ'd when Dama gets involved and then slowly dissapearing into the background while we do our thing.
