I like Thanksgiving when it's my mother's side of the family. Which it is every year. The only time that we had it with my fathers side was one year and it fucking sucked. They're stuck up rich bastards...jesus we didn't even have Turkey.

He won't raise ratings overnight. The reason we say Taker, HHH, Vince, Steph, etc. don't draw is because they have been on top for years and have been sinking ratings since 2000. We complain about Goldberg because he was brought in for the sole purpose of an immediate impact on ratings. He was not a long term project. I'm not saying Benoit will be a huge draw either, but he has enough of a following to stop the bleeding. It will take a long time for WWE to fully recover from the damage that HHH and the McMahons did. Everybody seems concerned about raising buyrates and attendance, but that is only the second step. You first have to stop them from dropping, which they clearly still are, before they start going up. Benoit can help that. He has had limited success in this regard in the past, most notably June 2001 and during the Smackdown Six Era on Smackdown. That's what I'm saying. He won't raise ratings overnight but the Benoit Haters will jump on it and scream that he doesn't draw and the WWE will give up after a month. I'm on the same side as you here.

So if OU dominates Kansas St. and then dominates there opponent in the Championship like they've been doing all season then what do you think?

So who's betting that Benoit wins it....and it doesn't raise ratings because well at this point it seems that nothing will and all of the Benoit Haters jump on here and scream "OMG he doesn't draw! Take that!"

The reason that KOTR has that feel is because it is entirely based off the Star Wars D20 Tabletop Roleyplaying game. I knew what every power did and how everything worked immediately because I play the d20 game.

I think OU has one of the best offenses I've seen. They're scoring game is phenomenal because White is so good and he's got great recievers and running backs. The thing is that we are losing very few players as Seniors this year. If White returns will have just about the same team. And if White doesn't I know we can stay up high in the ranking and maybe even be #1 again because we have such great recievers. Oh and.....OU has two games left. Against Kansas State and against USC/LSU. I think they can do it. They'd have to fuck up pretty bad and the other team would have to do better than normal for OU to be taken out. But if they play LSU it shold be close.

Like I said...I post now like I did then. Plus...I really see no difference in now and 2000. Ok one big difference....there weren't 30 gimmicks and there mother running around and there weren't 50 anti-smarks battling it out with 50 smarks in training. Nope. It led to a singles match between them later on that night where the winner would challenge Taker at KOTR. HHH won clean. Dear god...that was in OKC and I had second row tickets....and that match made me want to vomit.

Back to the OU question. I sincerly want to know what everyone thinks about that comment. If OU goes 15-0 will this year's team be the best college team ever?

I've never seen that before. However one time I did see this one one that had a girl rolling around in something that looked sort of like chocalate. I was like "Ok...she's going to get all chocalated up and somebody's going to lick it all off!" well then a big sign flashed across the bottom of the screen "YES THIS IS SHIT!" If Larry Fitzgerald has a big game this week and helps Pitt beat Miami I'd say Fitzgerald for the Heisman. Fitzgerald is the best player in college football right now. White may have great recievers and a good line, but that TD/INT ratio - 40/6 - is damned impressive and shows me 1) he's making good decisions 2) he's not turning the ball over and 3) the reason Oklahoma's offense has been so successful isn't just because of their great recievers and line - White is playing a huge role. Chris Perry would be my number 3 pick...I think him being a non-factor in both Michigan losses will hurt him though, the same way it hurt Larry Johnson last year. Four would be Eli Manning...he's been as steady as he has been the past two years, but Ole Miss has a better record this season. Rounding out my top 5 is B.J. Symons...I think he'll get a look based on the ridiculous numbers he has put up all season, especially the single-season yardage record and total offense records he now holds. Yeah but the fact that Symons threw 5 interceptions against Oklahoma will count against him for something. Yeah I've heard a few people say "Well it was against Oklahoma. They're so good that it's expected your numbers won't run up..." Umm....hello? I don't care who you're facing. Oklahoma or Baylor...you shouldn't throw 5 interceptions.
