I doubt it, but it would be funny if Dave came out and said he was feed up MTV and was above them. I dare any "mainstream" band, artist, person, etc, to come out and bash MTV and refuse to do anything for the company. And I don't mean Pearl Jam and Nirvana years ago when they would say they were anti-corporate but there they were making videos, doing interviews with MTV, doing spreads in RollingStone magazine or performing on Saturday Night Live. Some of these PopPunk bands are trying to be "rebels" and anti-whatever but there is Good Charlotte hosting TRL once a week. Well you have the ones like Rancid and Anti-Flag who actually aren't on MTV. They do make videos however...and then they release them on a tape. Has anybody heard that NOFX song about playing this song on the radio? It's funny...

Damaramu, (you see, someone can spell your name correctly) a stretcher match is more dangerous because it's assumed that more physical damage has to be dealt out in order to place them on a stretcher. Gaining a 1-2-3 pinfall only means that you have to temporarily put them on the mat. Dames I still don't buy it as so damn dangerous.....it always seemed like the goofiest gimmick match this side of a coal miner's glove match.

Umm....how exactly is a stretcher match dangerous? I mean you have to knock the guy out enough to strap him down....I mean in a regular match you have to knock him out enough to get a 3 count....what's the big difference?

Don't forget Rocky's crappy Pedigree at Judgement Day 2000... This is what caused the ban on piledrivers. HHH was woozy and couldn't remember the last few minutes of the match because of the Rock's pedigree...but Vince thought it was the tombstone and banned piledrivers....at least that's how I remember it...

Well I just won't understand the rap attraction...nothing about this music attracts me. Hey if you like it have fun but I don't and it pisses me off that the only place I can get good rock is by buying the CD. I can't turn on the TV and catch a song or turn on the radio and catch a song. I can catch all the Rap, Pop, and R&B I want...but I can catch just a little bit of Rock. It's pretty annoying. Ok so I'm watching this show on MTV about the VMA's and who's appearing there. And it just kind of pissed me off. As a hardcore rocker(metal and punk being my fav's)and hardcore hater of pop, rap, and r&b I like to see any kind of Rock act get it's due respect. So I turn on this show and what do I see? It was advertising like 80 rap, pop, and r&b acts meanwhile only speaking of 2 rock entities. Metallica and Good Charlotte. Yeah...whatever. Seriously whatever happened to the respect for Rock n Roll? Why is MTV so up on this goo goo homie g boy band bullshit? I mean yeah fine there's a pop video award. There's a rap video award. There's an R&B video award. And yes there's a Rock video award. Meanwhile rock seems to stay in it's neat little category while the other 3 dominate every other categorey. What the fuck!? Does this piss anyone else off? I mean I know I'm not overreacting b/c that's all I ever see on MTV is this bullshit. All the time. I'm lucky to see any rock on MTV and if I do it's overplayed pop rock BS.

And while we're on the subject of good performances...why the hell didn't Metallica play Enter Sandman in there meddley? I mean that's just as big a part of MTV's history as Smells Like Teen Spirit. I mean that video was the number 1 on a lot of Top 50 countdowns.

I'll nominate myself as the Lame Duck entry in Movie's and Television. You know...know shot of winning just there to pad the ballot.
