Because I'm a hardcore Eagles fan and I even so much as utter a word of support for any other team in the NFL then I'm a bandwagon jumper and not a real fan. So shut up. She needs to pick one. You can't be a Cubs and White Sox fan at the same time either.

Is that what you really meant to say?

I've noticed that everyone has a different opinion on tattoos and what's acceptable to get and what's not. So I was just wondering what everyone's opinion on tattoos is. Do you think they have to mean something? Do you think you should ever get a girls name tattooed on you? Your name? Tribal art? Barbed wire(yeah shoot me i hate those)? Anything? I personally think they should mean something and you should be absolutely sure it's what you want. Because while not being permanent anymore I hear the removal process hurts and is expensive. What do you guys think? One of the tattoos I don't think people should get are band tattoos. People grow out of music. My brother when he was 16 got an AFI tattoo. Now he's 21 and doesn't even listen to AFI.

Isn't she supposed to be a die-hard Lakers fan? And she was at this game? Oh fuck these bandwagon celebrities. If the Clippers ever rise championship levels and the Lakers ever drop to Clipper levels then I guarantee you ever smuck in Hollywood will be supporting the Clippers and going "Lakers who?"

I think sports are only really entertaining if you can't just run off and do it yourself. I mean obviously you could play any of the major sports yourself but you wouldn't be considered great on a professional level or anything. You don't really view anybody doing paintball as professional. It just seems like a game you and your friends play. It's like broadcasting a game of Clue.

Another reason to hate celebrities.
-
Why can you get by with that?
-
Yeah I don't know if I'd ever get drug stuff tattooed on me. #1 because I don't do any drugs unles you consider alcohol a drug. And #2 what if they ruin your life or you quit or something and you have that permanetly tattooed on you?

I don't mind the fact that Lebron is a developing young star. As a matter of fact I think it's awesome that he is so good. But I don't need to hear about it ALL the time. I have eyes and I know the game of basketball. I can tell he's good! I also don't like how he's given preferential treatment by the league(like all the other big stars) and ESPN just glosses it over. The problem with Sportscenter is that rather than just report the news they try to give commentary but their commentary is usually absurd and only focuses on the good aspects of a story or player rather than giving commentary on the bad aspects or even the real aspects of the story. Also they have their favorites and they throw in commentary they shouldn't. An example. Duke blows Texas out in b-ball early in the season. They cover it and talk about how good Duke was. 20 minutes later in the show they do another b-ball highlight package and at the end they say "And team xxx dumptrucks team xxx. OH BY THE WAY DUKE DUMPTRUCKED TEXAS!" What did that have to do with anything? You already covered it? Why did you have to throw that in? Oh and yeah OU should be pretty good this year but I'm not going to go crazy because I don't know if Bob Stoops is a great post-season coach anymore. He won 3 straight bowl games including a national title and Rose Bowl but then they laid 2 eggs in a row and then barely beat Oregon last season. I don't know how great of a big game coach he really is. So I won't trust OU no matter how good they are this season. I'm assuming they lose to Oregon or Texas A&M this season anyway. Thye're going to have BIG O-Line problems. But that's for another thread. In short. The ESPN anchors suck ass.
-
Yes but they're supposed to be unbias and impartial. These people are none of those things. I'm going to ESPN for sports news. So they should sound like an impartial anchor. And if they're doing analysis they can sound excited. That's fine. But they shouldn't sound like a 14 year old Lebron fan that thinks he's going to dominate the league for the next 100 years. On top of that the first thing we're taught in sports journalism is "You should be a fan of no team. You have to be impartial." Did ESPN get that memo?
-
Yeah I like the idea of this. The PS3 sounds absurdly expensive. I really don't want to buy any system until they've all been out for a while. Then I'll decide what I want.
-
Yeah Barron they should be fans. But they shouldn't talk like a fan. They shouldn't root for certain teams and players. And they damn sure shouldn't sound like a fan having a conversation with another fan.

Beef? Before I gave it up at least 6 times a week. Sometimes multiple times in one day.

Who's the chick that fills in on Gamenight on ESPN radio sometimes? I fucking hate that chick. She sounds like the worlds biggest fan. I don't want my radio and TV people to be fans! Yeah they should be fans but they shouldn't sound like an excited fan talking to me about sports. She was fucking terrible and she was basically rooting for the Cavs on air and trying to come up with ways to say they would beat Detroit.
-
Well I knew the Mavs were good going into this but I didn't know they were this good. I thought the Spurs were just playing with their heads up their asses but they're actually just being outplayed to hell.
-
Oh I just watched a little farther and saw how Cirie would've voted for Danielle. God I hated that bitch...and I think Bruce had a boner for her...dirty old man.
-
Bullshit. Terry was robbed. He should've been sitting there. But judging from the reactions of the jury members when he was voted off he would've easily won it. Still I hate Danielle and I hate Aras. Bad survivor season. But then again I've been getting my winners. I was screwed on All-Star having to watch everyone act like a dumbass and let Rob and Amber run away with it. But then I got Chris, Tom, and anyone but Stephanie. So I guess I was spoiled.

I love how all the TNT NBA commentators except Barkley are blind to Lebron stepping out or anything wrong Lebron does.
-
Hey you know while you're talking about losing weight I figured you were exercising too. On doing ab exercises......does it burn for you way after doing your crunches? I do crunches for my upper abs and then scissors for my lower abs. They burn while I'm doing it but afterwards it doesn't burn anymore and it doesn't continue to burn like doing other exercises does for other muscles.

Oh well. They still have no shot in this series. They're due to be destroyed when they go back to Detroit and if that doesn't break their will then the Pistons will finish it off in the next game.
-
Of course he's a big star. If you're a big star in the NBA you can bring a gun onto the court and shoot the defenders and it'd be a violation on them. *whistle* "Blocking foul on Wallace! You were shuffling your feet when he was shooting at you!"
-
When are the pistons going to quit pussy footing around and just finish this team that shouldn't be able to hold their jock off?
-
I just hope the Celtics get better. And the Hornets for people locally.

She was probably fat with kids she got when she was in HS and had one of those really skinny white trash boyfriends that never wears sleeves. My friend James(yes the homo from the LSD thread) will go to Golden Corral and take all the Mac and Cheese and put it on a plate and then just set it aside. He says he does it so that they'll put out fresh Mac and Cheese. He hasn't gotten in trouble for this practice yet but I can't wait until he's busted for it.
-
Well I'm glad 'Sheed made the guarantee. He's usually right. I wish the Pistons would quit pussy-footing around and break Lebron's will and finish the Cav's off.
