I'll agree with Dangerous A about problem players getting calls against them. Poor Ron Artest has to be careful or they'll be all over him.

Spring college football practices are starting...

Since VX was freaking out about it I'll post it here: See if anyone else agrees with this. This guy on the radio today said that the lack of Big 12 players being drafted proved the conference was down this year. Then the other radio host pointed out that OU and Texas had a decent amount of players drafted. The original guy then proceeded to point out that OU and Texas don't count when talking about how good the Big 12 is, like Miami when they were in the Big East. He said something like "Well those teams will always be good so you have to look at the rest of the conference. They don't count." So basically for the conference to not be considered good the other teams have to be able to take OU and Texas!? -
It was about where their players were drafted and measuring a conference on where they're drafted. So yes it was appropriate. Stop starting shit.
-
No it was about players being drafted. This is the draft thread.

Matt Leinart's so hollywood he just got punk'd. I think I puked up everything I ate in the past week.

I don't care if the Spurs lose the series or not. Just as long as the Lakers don't sniff that trophy or anywhere close to that trophy. Basically I don't care who exits the west as long as Kobe Bryant isn't on the team. Now if Kobe were to suffere a season ending injury then maybe I could get behind those spunky young Lakers.
-
SA will still win this series though.
-
I'll hate whoever I want. Kiss my ass. If the roles were reversed they'd make excuses for Kobe and barely metion Nash. That's how they are. Kobe could do as little as possible and they'd suck him off still. So no I'm not going to change my opinion on it because I know how these assholes are. And on top of that. What happened was amazing BUT they don't have to be smarmy about it which they are.
-
I hate the opinion and commentary the anchors throw in. If they're just reporting the news then there is no need to give their opinion. You don't see your local news anchor reporting the news and going "The war in Iraq continues....FUCK BUSH! FUCK THIS OIL WAR!" I mean god damn. If they do then they're not a very good anchor. They're talking about McNair and they gotta throw in commentary tearing down Vince Young. They have to make sure their opinion is heard everywhere. I mean the guys on Baseball tonight were talking about Reggie Bush! And then if they're wrong they refuse to admit it and all they do is make sure we know they think they're right. Like Kiper with Leinart. He still won't shut up.

I wouldn't mind the Lakers. I wouldn't hate the Lakers. I wouldn't hate Kobe. I wouldn't hate any of this if ESPN didn't suck so much cock and act so smarmy and just irritating about the Lakers and Kobe. ESPN makes me hate players and teams. They just sucked as much Laker and Kobe cock as possible. If LA goes to the Finals I shudder to think what these assholes will do.
-
Man I don't care about the fouls now. All Sportscenter is doing is bashing Nash and slurping Kobe.
-
What's Young look like?
-
How about him hitting two monster shots when Nash made two monster blunders? Or 3-1 LAL in a series Ripper declared a cakewalk for Phoenix? That good enough? Or the name on the front of Kobe's jersey meaning he gets preferential treatment. Or Nash's team being better during the regular seasion BECAUSE of Nash which is what the MVP is based off of? Or a 6 ft. white guy being able to even be considered in a sport that is dominated by giant more athletic black men? Yeah I'm happy Nash has the MVP. I'm also happy Kobe's image has been tarnished due to the whole rape case and Shaq fiasco and he probably won't ever get it back no matter how much ESPN goes on about him. Or the fact that unless they get some help he'll probably never win another title(i love that one most of all). Yeah I hate Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. He can rot in hell for all I care. Him dunking on Nash doesn't prove shit except that he's bigger and can jump higher. Oh boy. There's 50 guys in the league that can probably dunk on Nash.
-
How does Kobe dunking on Nash prove he's better than Nash? It just proves he's taller and can jump higher. Nash is like what? 6 feet? Kobe is what? 6'8"? I sure as hell hope he can dunk over Nash or he shouldn't even be in the league.

When is Jason White giving back his Heisman? When it's proven he did something illegal and his records need to be erased for it. I'll give the punchline to this one... White didn't do anything illegal but WISHES he could erase the Big 12 title game and Sugar Bowl from his record. Pretty soon he could go down as the "official" winner of said Sugar Bowl. How? OU played LSU in that game. Neither team did anything wrong. I'm pretty sure any team or player that would win something from Bush being declared ineligible will probably refuse it. -
I'm shocked JD Runnels got drafted. I figured he'd be picked up in free agency. Man they even continued the Reggie Bush love/shock over not being taken 1 fest on Baseball tonight!!! The Browns got a steal with Travis Wilson at WR.
-
The Lakers are one of ESPN's favorite teams which makes this even more sickening. If they make it to the finals the Kobe love-fest will be horrible. At least Steve Nash was able to win the MVP without ref help.

They've already declared AD the front runner on ESPN. And whoever ESPN wants to win the Heisman usually wins it. Young should've had it last season(he proved it in the bowl game) but ESPN touted Bush even more than they did today at the draft. -
More OU players. Clint Ingram and Travis Wilson. So many OU players have ended up on the Browns.
-
Somebody asked how NCState ever lost a game with all these players coming out....I'm now wondering the same about Ohio State. Damn.
-
Two more OU guys off the board. This is OU's weakest draft class in a long time.
-
I put USC hate aside if it can help the Eagles.
