I think anything that undermines authority is a good thing. So fuck the ban and fuck the MAN!

Isn't this Banky guy the kid who gets banned, fronts like he doesn't care, only to come back still pretending to not care? I've never spoken to him and I don't recall any of his posts. Though I have read many posts about him. Down with Pauly Shore and he can take Paul Reiser with him.

Batista and Booker T get into a fight?
CheesalaIsGood replied to CheesalaIsGood's topic in The WWE Folder
http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/20034101 Booker T sets the record straight May 9, 2006 “It was simply about respect, that’s all.” Booker T, sporting a swollen left eye, commenting exclusively to WWE.com about the bloody and brutal fight he had with former World Heavyweight Champion Batista on the set of the SummerSlam commercial Monday in Encino, Calif. It took a number of SmackDown Superstars to pull Batista and Booker T off one another in a fight that lasted at least five minutes. “I’m not going to say anything else about it. The fight had to do with respect,” says Booker. “I have no ill will toward Dave, but I feel like he doesn’t know the history of the business that’s all. Maybe he should study the history. There’s a lot of us who paved the way in this business for men like Batista,” says Booker. “When I started, guys like Greg Gagne, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and countless others were in WCW. I walked in the locker room and had to earn their respect. It took me 16 long years, but I earned it. Respect isn’t a right, it’s a privilege.” When asked if the two men have buried the hatchet, Booker T pointedly says, “We’ll never be friends. We’ll never exchange Christmas cards. But I will work with Dave in the ring like nothing ever happened. It’s not about us, it’s about the company and more importantly it’s about entertaining the fans. I’ll never do anything to hurt our product.” WWE.com is attempting to reach Batista for more on this situation. MMkay. -

I'm not sure I have an opinion on this topic. Sorry. -
I look forward to being on neither list.

Stephen Colbert targets President, media, and more @ White House Corre

Well said. I could not agree more. My jaw was on the ground over some of things he said while the people he was talking about were IN the room. With the Wilsons in the room it could not have been too good a night for some people. Who gives a fuck if their feelings got hurt. On this night comedy hurt as almost as much as a suicide bomber. -

The WWE Backlash '06 Thread...
CheesalaIsGood replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
From what i am reading it was Cena who "won the match" but it was HHH that was put over. -
I could never understand why anything would be taken away from a later version of a game. For instance if you are using the same game engine then later releases should have MORE on top of what the prior games already featured.

Ok, you did. Well done.

HOORAY! Now update the friggin W - L thread in the WWE folder.

New Orleans went from American metropolis to absolute chaos while he was attending his usual scheduled stuff. Yes, I do believe he would have been there reading that book whether he knew or not. There is no fucking excuse for that either. None.

Weird? No. Good? Yes, cept for the newest BHG cd. That is total crap. -
It would be really easy for this conversation to bleed into a case for not eating meat. So let me just say that cruelty to animals is just that, CRUEL. Still meat is food and that is not going to change. These days we really do not need the pelt from an animal to stay warm when it's cold, but some people prefere it I guess. Does it make us evil to "consume" the animals even if it has some proper use? Probably, it does. Oh man THAT ^ was some crap posting. I am so so sorry.

ICP fans amuse me but only from a distance. I like the ICP but I really have no desire to "get any on me". I do think it took entirely too long for KISS to get a mention as they are the blueprint for shitty fandom. I have seen both groups live but I still get the most uncomfortable waiting in line to see WWE.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050929/ap_on_...u_ghraib_photos Judge Orders Release of Abu Ghraib Photos By LARRY NEUMEISTER, Associated Press Writer 2 hours, 45 minutes ago NEW YORK - A federal judge Thursday ordered the release of dozens more pictures of prisoners being abused at Abu Ghraib, rejecting government arguments that the images would provoke terrorists and incite violence against U.S. troops in Iraq. U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein said that terrorists "do not need pretexts for their barbarism" and that suppressing the pictures would amount to submitting to blackmail. "Our nation does not surrender to blackmail, and fear of blackmail is not a legally sufficient argument to prevent us from performing a statutory command. Indeed, the freedoms that we champion are as important to our success in Iraq and Afghanistan as the guns and missiles with which our troops are armed," he said. Hellerstein ordered the release of 74 pictures and three videotapes from the Abu Ghraib prison, potentially opening the military up to more embarrassment from a scandal that stirred outrage around the world last year when photos of 2003 abuse became public. The photographs covered by Thursday's ruling were taken by a soldier. A military policeman who saw them turned them over to the Army. Some may be duplicates of photos already seen by the public. An appeal of Hellerstein's ruling is expected, which could delay release of the pictures for months. Gen. John Abizaid, commander of U.S. Central Command, said Thursday that releasing the photos would hinder his work against terrorism. "When we continue to pick at the wound and show the pictures over and over again it just creates the image — a false image — like this is the sort of stuff that is happening anew, and it's not," Abizaid said. The American Civil Liberties Union sought release of the photographs and videotapes as part of an October 2003 lawsuit demanding information on the treatment of detainees in U.S. custody and the transfer of prisoners to countries known to use torture. The ACLU contends that prisoner abuse is systemic. "It's a historic ruling, said ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero. "While no one wants to see what's on the photos or videos, they will play an essential role in holding our government leaders accountable for the torture that's happened on their watch." The government argued that America's enemies might exploit the pictures for propaganda purposes by saying the photos represent the attitudes of all Americans toward the Iraqi people. The judge acknowledged such a risk but said "the education and debate that such publicity will foster will strengthen our purpose, and, by enabling such deficiencies as may be perceived to be debated and corrected, show our strength as a vibrant and functioning democracy to be emulated." Bridget F. Kelly, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan, said her office was reviewing the ruling and considering its options. Gen. Richard B. Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, had argued in court papers that releasing the photographs would aid al-Qaida recruitment, weaken the Afghan and Iraqi governments and incite riots against American troops. But the judge said: "My task is not to defer to our worst fears, but to interpret and apply the law, in this case, the Freedom of Information Act, which advances values important to our society, transparency and accountability in government." The ACLU had sought the release of 87 photographs and four videotapes altogether. The judge viewed the pictures and videotapes and ordered some of them edited. Romero said those images apparently contained so many redactions that they would have been unintelligible. The judge said the pictures were important because they were the best evidence of what happened and because they "initiate debate, not only about the improper and unlawful conduct of American soldiers, `rogue' soldiers, as they have been characterized, but also about other important questions as well." Accountability, FUCK YEAH! You know. This is only happening cuz the left wing media is out to get GWB.

The W- L thing was cool. I liked giving it a look. It really doesn't tell you anything. But hey, I'd prefer it if wrestling went with a more sports oriented presentation anyway. That is just me I guess. This ban wasn't needed.

Why would any of us be offended that you think our relevance is comparable to that of David Lee Roth? Wow, I have NO idea.

Did he and Esham ever bury their beef? I know Proof did "Apollo G's" but I never heard if Esham ever accepted it. Although I did hear that Shaggy 2 Dope from ICP had been quoted as saying the beef was over with Em and all of those guys so...

I haven't heard too much about him getting axed but the show isn't very good. Dave does alright when he is talking about the music business as he has a good amount of insight. I just can't listen to him talk about anything topical like that girl that got murdered in NY by that bouncer guy. I mean who gives a shit what David Lee Roth thinks? He is as relevent as a messageboard poster in the scheme of things. No offence anybody.
