    I loved this.

     

    BSG is pretty much my favorite show ever but I feel like I can objectively say this was one of the best send offs I've seen for a show (at least since Six Feet Under). Satisfied.

     

    I'd imagine when it comes to some of the more mystical elements of the show some folks might be turned off by its ambiguity. I guess that is why they call it "mystical". Fill in the blanks for yourself.

    no Jim Martin = no Faith No More

     

     

    Except King For a Day was their 2nd best album and had no Jim Martin.

    This. Very underrated. I consider it the epitome of underrated albums.

     

     

    But I might differ with you if "Angel Dust" isn't 1st in line.

    As annoying as Palin can be I really do hope she sticks with it for a run at the presidency. If for no other reason than to watch people smarter than she is make a complete fool of her.

     

    Paul Bagala was on point when he said referring to a poll of conservatives (and I'm paraphrasing from memory): "65% of Republicans polled said they would like Palin to run in 2012 and 100% of Democrats."

     

    Please Sarah... run. I'm begging you.

    Well, if you haven't been following this story over the past few days, Hamas started firing rockets at Israel (once again). Israel has responded with heavy military attacks into Gaza, and over 300 people have been killed so far. Of course, the usual condemnations have been directed at both sides.

    First off, if there was going to be a reunion, GNR management would deny it until the second they announced the tour. But there's never going to be a reunion, so don't worry.

     

    Second, I really admire the way Axl fucked over the record industry on this one. Force out every member of your inner circle who isn't a total brown-nosing yes-man or yes-women, keep the name of the band even though you're the only member left, spend 11 years recording an album, be fed an endless supply of money to hire whoever you want, keep musicians, engineers and producers on payroll even if they aren't doing anything for you, tour when you feel like it, abruptly stop touring when you feel like it, headline a whole summer's worth of overseas stadium festivals when you do start touring again, bring your washed-up hair band also-ran best friend along on tour as a permanent opening act, bite a fucking cop in the leg and get off with a small fine, publicly fire an opening act for sucking, then release an album, don't do any promotion for it, and it still turns a profit despite bombing at retail. Now that's pretty awesome. That's how to be punk in 2008.

    Well since you put it that way. GO AXL!
