  1. You know you wuold THINK that when something like this happens people concerns would be the rescue efforts and how the survivors are. Instead do we want to waste time being all up in arms over what a SINGER said or how the guy in CHARGE of that resuce effort is performing?
  2. Was *I* bitching about George Bush?
  3. Definitly. Senator Joe ranks up their with other Wisconsin homeboys like Jeff Dahmer and Ed Gein. Its just too bad his liver exploded. Czech, etc...How 'bout we agree to move all the Kanye discussion to the thread in the music folder? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good idea. Kudos.
  4. I was stuck on the fatal four way cage at summerslam. Now I am stuck in a cage with Big Show who just SMOTHERS me. I hate cage matches.
  5. A natural disater takes place and this clown wants to bitch about a nothing nobody like Kanye West. "Shut the fuck up" in this regard is INDEED a strong counter-arguement.
  6. His mom is a college professor, I believe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude, shut the fuck up.
  7. Conservatives may want Kanye West to shut the fuck up but who fucking cares? There are more important things to think and talk about. Doing anymore than rolling your eyes is a waste of anyones time.
  8. I missed that. Maybe its... both???
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films...word_%22fuck%22 Just gonna link the list as it looked real funky via c&p. 560 times for Devils Rejects. Wow. Just plain wow.
  10. I say this knowing full well I could be flamed for bringing it up. But my girl is down there. She is about 3 hours north of NO. I have been dead inside for days having not heard from her til she called this afternoon. I cannot tell you the horror I have felt not knowing how she is. Fortunatley she is out of the way and so far everything is... well not good. She has lost some family members and she and a few others are going back out to search for more of her kin. It took everything I had to not insist she come home to New Hampshire, but she has to find the rest of her family. I'm just going to have to understand. But I do NOT fucking want to! I just have to wait for her to call me later and maybe she'll have some good news.
  11. I nabbed the last copy at the Gamestop I went to. They gave me a free poster too! I'll never hang it anywhere (its of the box cover) but hey free shit is good shit. Been playing it. So far I really don't have too much of a problem as I add more attributes as I move along the story. The cage match I had was really easy for me. Don't know what the problem was, but it all worked out. The crowd sounds are kind weak compared to last years. Whenever there is a chant the thin sounding chant kinda makes the background crowd sound quiet.
  12. Fucking cocksuckers. Oops, I mean the gay bashing fucks. My bad.
  13. This sucks. I have friends down there.
  14. Vamp we are supposed to be letting this thread die. For real. Actually, could a mod delete it?
  15. More Pat hilarity: We have enough votes to run the country. And when the people say, "We've had enough," we are going to take over. -- Pat Robertson, speech given to the April, 1980 "Washington for Jesus" rally, quoted from Robert Boston, The Most Dangerous Man in America, p. 29 If Christian people work together, they can succeed during this decade in winning back control of the institutions that have been taken from them over the past 70 years. Expect confrontations that will be not only unpleasant but at times physically bloody.... This decade will not be for the faint of heart, but the resolute. Institutions will be plunged into wrenching change. We will be living through one of the most tumultuous periods of human history. When it is over, I am convinced God's people will emerge victorious. -- Pat Robertson, Pat Robertson's Perspective Oct-Nov 1992 We at the Christian Coalition are raising an army who cares. We are training people to be effective -- to be elected to school boards, to city councils, to state legislatures, and to key positions in political parties.... By the end of this decade, if we work and give and organize and train, THE CHRISTIAN COALITION WILL BE THE MOST POWERFUL POLITICAL ORGANIZATION IN AMERICA. -- Pat Robertson, in a fundraising letter, July 4, 1991 There is never in the Constitution at any point, anything that applies that to the states, none at all. The Supreme Court has done it over repeated attempts by Congress which have been beaten back to do such a thing. -- Pat Robertson, The 700 Club television program, April 11, 1986 A Supreme Court ruling is not the Law of the United States. The law of the United Sates is the Constitution, treaties made in accordance with the Constitution, and laws duly enacted by the Congress and signed by the president. And any of those things I would uphold totally with all of my strength, whether I agreed with them or not.... I am bound by the laws of the United States and all 50 states ... [but] I am not bound by any case or any court to which I myself am not a party.... I don't think the Congress of the United States is subservient to the courts.... They can ignore a Supreme Court ruling if they so choose. -- Pat Robertson, speaking to a group of Washington Post writers, as reported in the Washington Post, June 27,1986 We have imagined ourselves invulnerable and have been consumed by the pursuit of ... health, wealth, material pleasures and sexuality... It [terrorism] is happening because God Almighty is lifting his protection from us. -- Pat Robertson, in a three-page statement released Thursday, September 13, 2001, quoted from AANEWS #958 by American Atheists (September 14, 2001) I think George Bush is going to win in a walk. I really believe that I'm hearing from the Lord it's going to be like a blowout election of 2004. It's shaping up that way. The Lord has just blessed him.... I mean, he could make terrible mistakes and comes out of it. It doesn't make any difference what he does, good or bad. God picks him up because he's a man of prayer and God's blessing him. -- Pat Robertson, The 700 Club television program, January 2, 2004 The Constitution of the United States, for instance, is a marvelous document for self-government by the Christian people. But the minute you turn the document into the hands of non-Christian people and atheistic people they can use it to destroy the very foundation of our society. And that's what's been happening. -- Pat Robertson, The 700 Club television program, December 30, 1981 When I said during my presidential bid that I would only bring Christians and Jews into the government, I hit a firestorm. "What do you mean?" the media challenged me. "You're not going to bring atheists into the government? How dare you maintain that those who believe in the Judeo-Christian values are better qualified to govern America than Hindus and Muslims?" My simple answer is, "Yes, they are." -- Pat Robertson, The New World Order, p. 218
  16. No one could blame you for that. Crappy story after crappy story shoved down our throats would tire even the most dedicated newshound.
  17. By Joseph Wilson Friday 26 August 2005 12:31 PM Statement by Former Ambassador Joseph Wilson The Bush White House and its right wing allies are responding to Cindy Sheehan and the military families’ vigil in Central Texas in the same way that they always respond to bad news –by unleashing personal attacks and smears against her. This White House never wants an open public discussion, and it certainly never wants to be told that it is wrong. It always tries to change the message by attacking the messenger. They did it with former Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill when he wrote a book that suggested that the White House used 9/11 as an excuse to invade Iraq. They did it when Richard Clarke revealed that the White House ignored warnings about Bin Laden. They did it in a most despicable way, as everybody now knows, when they revealed my wife’s identity as a CIA employee because they were unhappy when I spoke the truth and told the American people that President Bush’s claim was false concerning Niger’s giving uranium to Iraq, part of the trumped up rationale for our invasion. So no one should be surprised that when these mothers and families who have lost loved ones in Iraq step up to question the President, the White House responds not with the respect due them, but with hateful attacks and smears. But enough is enough. Ours is a government of the people, by the people and for the people; and the people in the name of Cindy Sheehan are right in demanding accountability for the tragedy foisted upon our great nation by this administration. To smear her rather than hear her is un-American and undemocratic. Joseph C. Wilson IV was U.S. Ambassador to Gabon from 1992-1995 and is an international business consultant.
  18. Got any audio of the guys flow? I'll give it a listen.
  19. Regardless of your narrow view of this woman, and what she is doing, it is very important to DISCUSS this war! Like it or not sweetheart, alot of people want out of this war they feel we never should have got involved in. THAT is what they think. Try and undermine it all you like. But "shutting your damn mouth" has never gotten anything done. EVER. There need to be MORE civic minded people with the guts and will to stick their necks out and say what they feel needs to be said. Who gives a shit about heat? What YOU are saying is EVERYBODY on the left should just shut up so you and the "right minded" types can go along and have their way. You just can't deal with all that conversation. So it's shut up or we'll accuse you of cavorting with the enemy. TREASON! TRAITOR! Anti-Bush = Anti-American! Anti-SEMITE! These are the kinds of conversations that we DO NOT need! But obviously the right wing can't deal with it so baseless accusations are the soup of the day. I have no idea what you are talking about as it concerns C-Bacon. But *I* also do NOT think we CAN pull even if we tried to! Afterall, when you are neckdeep in shit its really hard to swim home. But it is the POLICY that is the issue here. The US Government and its agencies have been fucking around over there (the Middle East, Central America, South America) for too many years. Yet if they HAD NOT... we wouldn't be where we are today. Change these policies and we change ourselves and the rest of the world for the better. Period. YOU can't fuck with that and THAT is why you are "gone". Thankfully, people like her are standing up and making noise. She is far braver than you or I hiding behind a keyboard talking shit. So threatend by her is the right its almost like she were running for office somewhere considering the mudslinging (and WHERE oh WHERE is the "left wing media" to protect her???) All I ever hear about is how much of an asshole she is for standing up in her sons name or her getting served a divorce etc etc etc. Whatever it takes to distract from the issue of POLICY! Oh, well I suppose. Its the price that's paid to flex a little freedom. Keep in mind if you REALLY thought this thread was THAT much of an abortion... well you certainly played your part by joining in. Maybe next time you can keep your damn mouth shut. Yanno, to help average things out?
  20. and waste anymore effort on YOU? please. I could lace this thread with links galore ala a certain somebody, but why bother with the brainwashed? besides, those who were and were not on the bandwagon, (CIA???FBI????) are well documented by this point. you could always check some older threads. or maybe you could post just one more time where you say something like "this is YOU we are talking about" which of course we are not. but this IS YOU we are talking about so la la la indeed.
  21. http://carpetmonster.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/fj.htm Sweet. Just plain goddamn sweet. It even has pictures to go along with the instructions.
  22. Well, if we are going for everyone who agrees with what she's doing... Uh, there weren't too many experts who said 'Don't go into Iraq', either. There were some who (Rightly) said that we should have more troops, more force, and concentrate on rebuilding, but the military as a whole said Iraq was okay. So, uh, you're still a moron. Good for you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And MORE petty name calling from you. Good for YOU for keeping your non-thoughts out there for me to enjoy. Thanks for the link. I go there all the time now. ALL the time, cuz I and people like me are all about that. I'm still waiting for Charlie Manson or maybe some old Nazis to rear their heads outta South America to throw in THEIR support for Sheehan so you and MikeSC can finally bust a nut.
  23. Bush, in describing Cindy Sheehan, stated, "She expressed her opinion. I disagree with it." This puts Cindy Sheehan in the company of military experts who told Bush things he didn't want to hear prior to the attack on Iraq. Experts who turned out to be correct.
  24. I hope you employ the same criteria when judging people. "If they taste good they are A-OK in my book!"
  25. Has anybody called him yet?
