Oo, someone's clever.

The Argayde Incandenza

I really can't picture you wearing "tough" shirts. I'm not even sure it'd work on a self-deprecating level, at least not in the way you intend. Stick to button-down.

No, that would be Ms. Jackson.

They're not great. The second one is decent, as its big special effects scenes are dark and don't reveal how cheap everything looks. It's a really, really dire set of movies otherwise.

How do you like that. Midnite Vultures is my favorite Beck album too. It's retarded and good. Like Odelay as well, and have found his more meditative stuff occasionally interesting, but never too addictive.

HungryJack's comment from the Singles thread leads me to ask this question. I haven't followed any of the wealth of posthumous 2Pac or Biggie material that's been released. Do the same verses get reused, or is there really that big a vault of mediocre raps somewhere?

I thought you only dated black girls.

You know it was a weak year in radio-play hip-hop when "Lean Back" is the best case you can make for a summer jam. Woof. Also, "Roses" wasn't exactly a good single. It was probably the worst one Outkast had ever offered up, actually, until Andre decided to unload "Prototype" on the public. I can see why they did "Roses" - it's one of the few tracks on the album(s) to include both Big Boi and Andre - but 6 minutes of pure average, loping eh just doesn't cut it. That new Geto Boys single is horrendous. Their shtick is dated, and the "money money money money get that dough" part of Willie D's verse (is it his? I think it is) is one of the worst single lines I've ever heard.

The NCAA may be setting a dangerous precedent.

The answer's pretty obvious. Of course it's ridiculous that he get a redshirt for that, but it's not at all surprising. The college game is a business. -
I think I counted nine, though there really should be eight. Can't believe I left Memphis on there, though. I'm not sure that's what I'd wdanted to do. Oh well. Maybe the Tigers can do that upset thing.

The Alan Clark/Landon Maddix Saga

Bitch please, I live for disrespect. It keeps me curmudgeonly. -
I'm hoping for an 11th-hour Corey Laz comeback.

Grand Slam is one of the few characters I'd randomly come out of retirement for at pretty much any notice. The coolest old man I know. Take it easy, cap'n.

I am going on a date tomorrow.

Who's Pete?

I don't think it's really a guilty pleasure. It's a pretty expertly crafted pop song. I have no shame in enjoying "Toxic."

Um, Sam Shepard wrote True West in 1980. I've seen a handful of people wearing cowboy hats, but that play isn't really a good contemporary example.

Not Andrew W.K. Probably not 50-Cent, either.

That's kind of like talking about Eichmann and being all "better than Goering, though, at least in my mind."
-
Because if that was you, you weren't very good.

Were you using Callwave for phone sex?
-
was what got me really excited. Though I'll admit I like the potential implicit in a song called "Multiple Spouse Wounds." That title is already better than anything they've ever done to this point.

I see the Virginia football players around grounds all the time. D'Brickashaw Ferguson, the OT (and Kiper's #4 underclassmen prospect, or something crazy like that), is in one of my friend's Econometrics class, so we've been hanging out at the guy's apartment now and then. I've also met lots of golfers, because I live on the TPC Prestancia course in Florida. Paul Azinger's hanging around there all the time. It's kinda fun to take a swing at the driving range with him on one side of you and Jim Albus on the other.

i know you didn't get nominated, but it'll be okay. if you were on it, i would've voted for you. You make the tears okay. Also, I'm kind of wishing that I didn't null my vote, so I could vote for Incandenza and try to make his eyes bleed.
