I dunno. Making kids do 20 hours at the animal shelter or local library is fine by me. We had to do 40 to graduate at my school. Pretty much a non-issue if either candidate chose to endorse it. I'm sure some nuts would go crazy about it, but since they're not, well, who cares?

But you are clear on the fact that this is about community service, right?
-
...What are you talking about and how does it relate to the fact that you all foolishly thought this was important?
-
Um, even the cached site address indicates that this was just an idea for a community service initiative. This doesn't even qualify as a non-story.

This weekend's game against Texas A&M will probably go a long way to seeing how Ok. State will fare the rest of the year, since it'll easily be the most versatile defense they've faced. The running game is fantastic, and they racked up 200 yards passing on just 8 completions last week, but that was an abberation for the passing game; more commonly they've been going 2 for 8 for 23 yards, or 4 for 8 for 70. If someone really stuffs the run, that's going to put a lot of pressure on what's been the most anti-air offense this side of the triple option all year.

Fruity picture or not, Mole is repping the Jager. Well-played.

So after listening to these again today at work, this was clearly the best purchasing night of the year: they've climbed to #1 and #2 on my list of favorites for 2004. And, yesterday, it was a "premium used CD," i.e. an unopened Australian import version for $10, and I could not resist: Featuring, among others, perhaps ODB's finest moment: "Dog Shit."

It's Tricky Daddy and Lil' Jon. "Let's Go." Taking crunk to new levels of ridiculousness, and that's all right with me. Also, "Sing for the Moment" is not one of the best. It is, in fact, one of the absolute worst. Echoing Jaxl's sentiments about "Takeover," "I.Z.Z.O. (H.O.V.A.)" makes a wonderfully subtle rip out of "I Want You Back."

Well, he could wiggle his finger. How's that rate?

Haven't we talked about laying off this shit a million times? Every single college football post on here ends up in the same goddamn place. So irritating.

My Immortal brings a tear out of me every time I hear. "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely" by the Backstreet Boys "There You'll Be" by Faith Hill "Drops of Jupiter" by Train (It was played at a funeral of one of my friends. ) "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men I can't believe you're almost 22.

OU is very good, but right now I'd have Auburn just a notch above them. I feel like Auburn's had to deal with a larger variety of playing styles and more audacious conditions, and they've succeeded in all of them. No knock on the Sooners or Trojans, but if all three teams win out (which I don't think will happen), one of those two deserves to visit the Rose or Sugar Bowl instead.

This week's polls are out, and holy shit: UVA leapfrogged FSU in both polls. Well, that clinches it. We're going to lose in Tallahassee. Mad props to the AP voters for only dropping Cal one spot. Any team other than USC and yesterday's performance would have been a win.

This all just a ploy to bring back SNOW DEMON. Happy trails, Mike. Your Lost at Sea match will always be one of my faves.
-
This is a reprehensible attempt at abusing power. That's pretty much the bottom line.
-
It's over. Seeya, Dawgs. I can't believe it - next week's Virginia/FSU game is going to be #5 vs. #6 or 7. Wow.
-
USC plays Arizona State next week, and your boys have OSU down the road. Undefeated? Maybe. Guaranteed? Not even close.
-
Lucky for them, Tennessee isn't looking much better, but right now they're looking good enough. Somewhere, Kotz is spooging.

That Georgia Tech/Maryland game I was complaining about has turned into more evidence as to why GT is the craziest team in the ACC. Last week they get waxed by Miami, they get creamed by UNC, and then they come out and dominate Maryland all over the field. Up 17-0, and they're back in the red zone again.
-
If Auburn or Georgia runs the table in the SEC, I could see either of them getting in, especially with how tough it is to win the SEC as compared to the Big 12 or the Pac 10. Do the BCS computers consider strength-of-schedule this year? If so, Georgia will probably be ahead of both OU and USC in that component. But I don't think they all run the table. It's rare to get 2 unbeaten teams, much less 3. No one saw Kansas State coming last year.

*Now* it makes more sense. I thought it was a little off.
-
I was so excited because, until right at 3:30, my ABC affiliate was doing the pre-game for USC/Cal. But the coverage map was true - Georgia Tech/Maryland for me. Love me some ACC, but ah, too bad. All the blown coverages by the Georgia DBs are really surprising. They're not just little oversights - guys getting 10 yards behind the entire defense just isn't right.

Correct. Very much a throwback to the style of "Raspberry Beret" and a lot of the better material on Parade. I'd like to see the video, if only because that Whale Rider girl is creepy as a motherfucker.
-
I did as such on IM, but for the rest of you: "Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)," "Wake Up," and "Haiti," maybe. It's all really good.
-
Correct. I expect to be a step or two behind you and your damn radio promos. But if you haven't, I think it's certainly right up your alley. All the reviews that say it's awesome are, in fact, not lying.
