I'm taking Intro to Broadcasting, which is bascially the same exact class as Mass Media in Society. I don't know why they have two classes just alike, it makes little sense. I wish they had "Movie Directing" or something simular to it. You're really not gonna find anything quite that specific unless you're at a film school. Or someplace really, really big. We've got a couple Cinematography courses, and certainly theater direction, but that's it.

Numbers sound cool. It surprises me that a Predator would even bother diving into an Alien den in the first place, but a nice visual for sure. Worst part about this movie will most definitely be the inevitable use of loads of CGI. Alien suits and models look so much better than super-smooth CGI beasties, and they force the cinematographer to actually light and compose shots well.

My indulgent method of listening-while-studying occasionally causes me to confuse Ghostface Killa for Stephen Dedalus, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to accept.

When did the whole "death threats bannable/taking internet message boards really seriously" thing make its way into the rules? It seems like such a random thing to prohibit since any big-time nuisance would fall under trolling anyway.

A- across the board in all five courses. The cumulative GPA tumbles by .12. I am overcome with sorrow. Damaramu, I'm actually surprised that a big public university like OU doesn't use + and -. It's really the only way to have any sort of subtlety in the grading when you're on the grade-point system, and with so many students I'm surprised they don't try to separate them more.

Listening to the Unicorns' album, specifically "Inoculate the Innocuous" at this moment. They're coming to my college along with Rjd2 and Pretty Girls Make Graves, and I'm rather excited.

I cut out your Hail to the Thief choices because I think you'd do better to include "There, There," "Myxomatosis," and maybe "A Wolf at the Door," which I tend to find the best tracks on there. You also ought to give a little love to Amnesiac, even if it is uneven. "I Might Be Wrong," "Like Spinning Plates," and "Life In A Glasshouse" are as good and weird as anything they've done. Weirdest was your seeming inclusion of "Thinking About You" in lieu of "Creep."

The only good X-Men out now, in my opinion, is New. Chuck Austen has his hands on Uncanny and it's horrible. Everything up through the Riot at Xavier's and its follow-up, Murder at the Mansion, is currently collected in trades, and Morrison's last 13 issues should be collected in a couple months more. It's amazing, but I honestly don't think you'd like it that much. Nightcrawler isn't in it at all. There is a big romance story you might like, though. You can pick up the first trade (6 issues) for 10 or 12 bucks at most stores, or you can go out and get the gorgeous hardcovers that collect 14 and 15 issues at a time. They're amazing. You'd have to talk to other people to learn about the older incarnations of the comic - I've only read the "classic" stories that my well-read comic friends have picked out for me.

A great episode, lighthearted, clever, and fun. Looks like next week we're back to the main storyline.
