Is the Tigers really that bad then?
-
Sorry, any serious neck injury should be treated with caution. I wouldn't be surprised to see him out of the rest of the season.
-
Ghost Reacon should never be made again.
-
Damn, I hope Ultraviolet was going to bomb.
-
Belfour should just retire and let Telqvist take the load. Of course the Toronto Sun will like that, except for Steve Simmons, who pratically hates everything Toronto does, but loves in the same way.

What are you, Zoolander?

I agree with Flagg on Doom. This is another movie that would have been better about five years ago or so.
-
Whoops. Forgot that was shitty season for Montreal that year. No wonder I was so excited for a strike that year.
-
Um...holy shit if this is true.

It had zero redeeming qualities for me. My opinion. I don't care if you like my opinion or not, but don't be a prick about it because I hated it and you liked it. Anyways: Rent 0.5/10 A little late for the movie and the singing was so forced compaired to other musicals. Walk the Line 8/10. Good, but not the greatest it could have been. Not as good as Ray, but if you like the Man in Black, do pick this up. Munich: 10/10. This is the best movie of the year, bar none.

between injuries, sharing goaltending duties, losing seasons, ect it isn't tough to believe that no one else has done this. there's also been more games in a season over the past 10 years that in the early days. that said, i'll say brodeur may retire the greatest goaltender ever. I think Roy would have acheived it if ther was no strike involved in 95.

I'm sure Toronto would love a good player, but would probably end up getting Matt Cooke. And Higgins scored twice again for Montreal and pounding the Lightning 6-2.

Since when do Asains have big knockers that isn't plastic?
-
Bonk should be thrown into obscurity of Free Agency for all I care.
-
Show them A Clockwork Orange or Boondock Saints. I'm sure your job will be on the line after that.
-
You're entitled to your opinion, but rating it a zero is just being a dick. No, it was fully justified on how shitty this movie really is. Its on the same shittyness as Cutthroat Island. The Clint Eastwood movie reviews: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly: 9/10 The Outlaw Josey Wales 7.5/10 Dirty Harry 9.5/10 Unforgiven 10/10.

If I were Phili, after this season I'd do a whole firesale on the team, and they better do it for the right people.

Paperboy? It best have the obstacle course or else its no fun.

Wait till people start taking Jagr out, people wont even know who Prucha is.

I think Al can't admit that Baseball is not that popular as it once was.

Yes, the media has had a lot to do with the problems in baseball. No matter how much ESPN talks about the Colts & Patriots, it is nothing compared to the outright favourtism shown towards the Yankees and Red Sox by the media. FOX's MLB coverage is horrid. No other sport save hockey gets it nearly as bad. I find it rather shameful when Canada, a nation where baseball is the #4 sport at best and containing only one major league team gets significantly more balanced coverage of the sport than Americans do. Thats quite pushing it because Canadians are interested in NASCAR, Golf, Curling, CFL, F1 than Baseball.
-
You should put an asterisk beside Toronto, because when there is a lot of shitty teams that come play (basically everyone except Boston, New York, Anaheim and interleague) tickets go as cheap as two dollars.
-
No, I agree with you AoO. Football is made for TV.

The problem with Football and Baseball is that because the Super Bowl/World Series involve so much hype around certain teams, that when it comes to the actual event and the teams aren't involved, it gets shit on, analyzed nine ways from sunday about why these teams aren't in the finals, what can we do to make sure its structured for those teams to reach it, who's gonna watch it, etc... etc... We saw that in Baseball in recent years and just this pass year in the Superbowl. When New England wasn't respected, no one really thought that they could be a dynasty team, now thats what everyone is talking about. People want to see New England/Boston, New York, Phili, Chicago in the finals. No one else. Thats the problem with Baseball and Football these days.
