Never been kicked, but punched there a few times. The worst one was taking one of those orange road hockey balls in the dick. Painful especially when the ball is frozen.

For all the cooks out there, what spices do you use most, and what do you have on your spice rack? We can also use this thread for discussing herbs as well. Salt Ground Black Pepper Whole Black Pepper Ground White Pepper Onion Powder Garlic Powder Garlic Salt Turmeric Cayenne Crushed Red Pepper Cajun Seasoning Paprika Montreal Steak Spice Thyme Rosemary Tarragon Basil Oregano Dehydrated Parsley Fresh Parsley Cilantro Ground Mustard Dill Weed Lemon Pepper Cinnamon Nutmeg Poultry Seasoning Chili Powder Cloves Crushed Cloves Pickling Spice (for whatever reason) Ground Ginger Personally, Garlic Powder, Parsley and White Pepper is what I use the most. Lemon Pepper is excellent on any type of fish with a touch of tarragon.

I completely forgot about Cumin. I'm not a fan of rosemary at all. I'll use it for a stock like gravy or put it on a roast, but I never use it for anything else. I find that it over powers almost any other spice that is being used. Also, isn't Coriander the same thing as Cilantro?

I should have said a fixed cap.
-
Hey a hard cap would be nice for a change too. $45 million should have been reasonable enough to manage a fucking team.

Leave it as is, but if the goalie smothers the puck and no one is around, I also like to see a DoG call on that too. Keep the play moving guys.

Fighting should stay in hockey. It's been going on before the NHL and does build up momentum for the team to claw back or play harder. Fans like it too because they see their tough guy trying to layout the opposing player in front of them. I, like Bob, love ties. Honestly there was nothing wrong with a tie. However I'd have a ten minute 4-4 OT, no shootout. Tie game, tie game. No points for losing in OT. However, in regular season hockey, I'd like to see them play with no blue line for OT. See if we have those Russians loaf in the attack zone. It should, in theory create the game more exciting and more of a risk, reward type deal. Edit: I also like to see goalies have room to skate. Get rid of the fucking trapezoid and if the goalie is out of his crease, he's fair game.

The Things That Anger You Thread.

Apparently my job doesn't like to follow seniority when it comes to vacation. This just makes more paper-work for me tomorrow. -
It was only a matter of time. The team lost faith in Carbo since Christmas and this was expected. Montreal poor play defensively cost him his job.

Stalking Glenn Beck.

And after watching the highlights, Carey played liked the all-star that he once was.
-
I believe it was Dallas lack of power play strength that cost them the game.
-
Oh man, I should download the latest Shred and Ragan podcast about this. They are going to cream themeselves and automatically think that Buffalo is going to win the superbowl.
-
Hey, if Montreal didn't give up 40+ shots every game, their goaltending might be better. But then the goals he let in....makes Andre Racicot look like a Vezina trophy candidate

I had a cedar cutting board at my apartment that I gave to my mom when I moved out to Alberta to work. Heavy fucker, but damn good board.

I just use the knives they provide at work, which are Sanelli's. I hate the rubber grip and the weight to them. A couple of co-workers have a few Global Knives and the grip is excellent, but the boning knife is way to flexible. Henckles are nice too. So what do you guys use to sharpen your blades? A regular steel, or do you go and buy a nice stone?

In English class, our teacher made us read Moonfleet by J. Meade Faulkner. The book was published in 1898, and I believe we got an updated copy that was from the 50's.

Work. I'm convinced that Carey Price is still hurt.

I'm assuming Calgary might be unloading a defenceman to clear up some cap space.

Ollie Jokinen is off to Calgary. Well it looks like it Edit: Looks like Lombardi and a few picks are going to Phoenix

Provinces Ontario Manitoba Saskatchewan Alberta British Columbia Quebec States New York Pennsylvania Massachusetts D.C. Virginia West Virginia Nevada California In Canada, it'll be Manitoba. Winnipeg is a dull city with no character at all. Buffalo and Erie, PA are in rough shape but I remember going to WV in 02 and it was very run down. (The northern part of WV)
