Patrick Roy Ken Dryden Jacques Plante Jose Theodore None of these goalies had any hype towards them and look how good they turned out to be. Montreal sure knows how to draft goalies

Is Scandal the party (Reform) official motto? C'mon this party doesn't have a stable leadership, and a stable party underneath it. If the party can not agree on a simple issue, how do you think they can run a country? They'd argue it over, and soon you'd have all other parties jumping on against their decision. The reform party offers nothing to improve Canada. Fine cut everything and Privitze everything, and see how many Canadians would react to that...your gonna have another election real quick. Canadians do not want another election. Its costs too much money to have another one right now. Besides the Reform party should look for a platform, or some sort of ideals before they should scream for an election.

Edmonton had Curtis Joseph at the time I think. The only teams I could see interested in Roy was Colorado, St. Louis and possibly Washington and Phili The rest of the teams allready had the niche with the goalies they had. (Detroit had Vernon and Osgood, Buffalo Hasek, Dallas Belfour, NJ Brodeur.)

What were you saying? I couldn't read the jibberish you wrote.

The thing is that the right is near insanity and so is the left. Its ashame that people outside Quebec can not vote for Gilles Ducieppe.

Montreal would never traded Roy to the Leafs. It would be on the level of Richard going to play there. Vancouver would be the only team I can think of that would have grabbed Roy from a Canadian stand point, but they wouldn't be able to keep him long because of poor financing the year after. Roy had to go to a western conference team because the Habs had too man rivalries in the East. I for one, had no problem with him going to the Avs, but C'mon. I'd been happy if it was Fiset, Ruicinsky, Ricci and say two draft picks.

Wow, first Thursday night I work in a long time, and I'm glad I'm missing this

and if Tiger didn't win the Masters, would he be as popular now than in 2002?
-
Tiger is more recent. If he never won the Masters this year, most people wouldn't be talking about it.

Wow did HoW hit the shitter. I'm sorry, but I'm not too sure about you guys, but the theatre I saw it at sucked. Over half the scenes in the movie you couldn't see the actors face or lips talking, instead you get forehead and scenery. The top of the movie is cut off at times from the shot, like something is blocking the scene. Lastly, at some scenes you can see the Boom mic entering the picture. The best part is (and what got most people cheering) is Paris Hilton death. I mean the plank right to the forehead and pushing down on her head afterwards, was awesome

Hot for a month? I'm sorry...but five tournament victories including a major, and two top ten finishes at the US and British Open that year as well, and third on the money list. He was more consitant than Tiger Woods that year.

Doug Wickenheiser (over Denis Savard...wow) Alexandre Daigle Patrik Stefan Jamal Anderson Tim Biakabutuka, Michigan RB...didn't tore his ACL or some serious leg injury in his second season> Shaun King got shafted by the Bucs...he was the future, but I guess Brad Johnson is better.

A pick who turned out to be Forsberg, Simon, Duchesne, Hextall and 15 million for Lindros? Um...wrong team. A few. WTF was Mario Trembly thinking when Roy was left out to dry. WTF was Montreal on when they give away Roy.

Like to add to this Misconception: Brett Hull GWG against the Sabres changed the no foot in the crease rule. Fact: The NHL and NHLPA allready to agree to change the ruling next season before the Stanley Cup finals started. Hull's goal was just the icing on the cake. Misconception: Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens never met in the playoofs since 67. Fact: Only once did these two teams meet. Montreal defeated Toronto in four games in 77. Misconception: Montreal has 23 Stanley Cups Fact: Montreal has 24. They one the cup in 1916, one year before the NHL existed.

Of course its ads. How else do you think papers turn profit? Subscription? Its rediculous how much a single piece of page cost, plus the colour, plus the quantity of it.

And you don't think Harper would do this? This guy is more nuts than Mulroney.
